Tesi Bridal, NJ A+ Tesi has an amazing selection of dresses, and the only salon near LI that had a sample of this dress for me to see. I got my veil there too and still have not seen another that I love as much as mine!

Thomas Knoell A+ I do not care what anyone says, the expense is worth it, there is a difference, and people will take notice!!!! I got a ton of complements on the single comb and 3 stick pins. Best part is, I can wear them again!

NY Hair Cutters…A+ Erika has been by hair dresser for a few years now and I had one trial with another place I did not like, so in the end I should have known better and went with the one person who knows my hair! I never had a trial with her, just showed a picture and she did it perfectly! It held up the whole night, and I was able to take out my veil without ruining it!

Bare Escentuals A+ The Make-up was another stress for me. In 2 months of planning the “recommended” artists were taken and others were too costly for me. So I was trialing Bare Minerals and wound up loving their make-up in the process (bought a whole bunch of products). The day of I went to the mall and they put it on GREAT! I bought the lipstick I needed that day and gave the girl a tip and not only did I save money but everyone commented that it looked perfect, elegant, and not over-done!
(So you can travel 30+ minutes the day of your wedding and not pay an arm and leg to have people come to you, you can go to them and don’t need “wedding hair and make-up people!)

Ultimate Class A+ Jimmy was a doll and so helpful and friendly! He even helped get the items from the church! The Rolls Royce was just the elegant touch we were looking for! They also sent a car service for afterwards to get to the hotel.

Flowers by Brian A+ THEY NAILED IT! From the gorgeous bouquets (mine weighed a tone and is still going strong!!) to the other personal flowers, & the centerpieces all STUNNING! They created candle arrangements for the tables and all the candle made an awesome effect when they reflected off the glass of the Carltun’s wine cellars, encased glass wine collection.

Twelfth Night Photography A+ What can I say...AWESOME! Mike was a doll! We made me feel at ease from the beginning. he periodically showed us photos too. We also owe him everything for getting us a time-spot at the Old Westbury Gardens. Diana from OWG was great too, long long story! We can’t wait to see the photographs!!!!!

Carltun A+ We were a small reception, but they did not sacrifice anything. The Filet Mignon and Lobster tail was great! Chocolate, chocolate truffle filled cake, that they surprised me with 3 tiers in stead of just 2, delic!! The room set up, the class of the service and food quality (lamb appetizer & caviar cart was amazing too!!)....it truly was a classy dinner party that will not be forgotten!

St. Brigid’s Parish, A+ We only decided to get married 2 months before and they were great to deal with from the first meeting with the Father. His ceremony was great too!!! Even had us kiss twice. Once after the unity candle was lit and once at the end!

My Niece/Flowergirl/God Daughter..A+ At 20 months, we were not sure she'd walk down. In fact it was priceless….she was hysterically crying when she was supposed to walk, but my brother-in-law, said fine “good bye” and then walked down the aisle and she instantly turned around, stopped crying, and walked right after him! Priceless! She stole the show!

Wingate Inn, Garden City A+….The Grand Bridal Suite was HUGE! I wound up checking in early, dressed and took photos there, no complaints at all!

Mother Nature from a D to an A+…rained all morning, but not too bad for when I was traveling for hair and then make-up. Then started to clear in time for me to go to the church and perfect lighting for photos. the sun really came out & heated up jsut as we finished the final photographs. Could not have asked for more!

Tuxedo Park C- ...We at first loved the service and quality of tux choices. 2 of the pants had holes, but they exchanged them with no problem, even the day of the wedding. However they did not take the order right and my husband’s pants. He was supposed to be different, a classy pinstripe to go with my vintage look. In the excitement he did not realize it and was more concerned with the fit. I went today to ask what happened and they really did not have much to say, did not try to make up for that either, dissapointed in that!!!!….So be sure someone knows to check you have what you wanted.

Fantasia... F for SURE!!!! Don’t get me started and they are lucky I live 45 minutes from them, or I’d be there! But they will be getting a call tomorrow. From a PULL appearing on my dress when I went for the 2nd fitting and I KNOW I DID NOT DO IT! To them telling me the pull will be pressed out and the beading will all be inspected on mine and my mom’s…..WELL IT WAS NOT! We picked them up the day before so not much could be said then. But how can you claim your service and charge me and NOT PERFORM and not even acknowledge until I pointed them out!! Even the pearl I said was loose and please sew secure was NOT! So……Bride’s be careful, if I had the time that Friday evening I would have made more of a commotion….but nothing could be done and I needed to get home at the time to say much. I did not need any alterations beyond cups and a 3 button bustle, so I can’t judge how they do on that. I hope better than their handling of the dresses!

Honeymoon in April when I am on spring break from teaching (Mexico)…Review will come then!
