Christine2010 - Our Wedding, Friday, April 23 - Brooklyn Vendors - Our Lady of Angels, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Grand Prospect Hall, Double Diamond Limos, Creative Video, 13 Avenue Florist

All day of pictures are at the end of the review & were taken by Creative Video.

I first would like to say thank you to LIW & all the behind the site people. I don't know where I would have been for the two years of planning without this site. When I first joined we had 741 days until our wedding & this site helped the time fly by. It became known around my house as, 'That Wedding Site.' I think some days my sister (MOH) wanted to throw something at me with some of the ideas I found on the site. I didn't use many LIW ideas but I really enjoyed talking about everything that led up to our wedding day with people who where in the same boat as me. I wrote this review over the 1 year period leading up to our wedding; because I knew I would never remember all the details. I love when the reviews start with the couples back story & proposal so here I go.

DH & I at his prom - 2000

The Back-Story
My new DH & I started dating back in 2000. We are high school sweethearts. I was 16 & he was 17. A mutual friend introduced us & we have been together from that day forward. My DH quickly became my best friend & to be honest I think it was only 6 months into our relationship when I first decided that I would spend the rest of my life with him. Over the 10 years that we dated, we suffered many heard ships. From the death of grandparents to a close friend dying to DH loosing his father, we stuck together. I first knew how much DH loved me when we where involved in a car accident in May of 2004. I lost some vision in my left eye as a result of it, but the immediate damage left me unable to do much of anything for 4 weeks. DH took great care of me & that’s when I knew that I found 'the one.' We moved in together in January of 2006 & that first year of living together was truly a test of our relationship. We dealt with all of those newly living together issues and the hardest part of all was when DH lost his dad in January of 2007. I thank God everyday that I knew my FIL for 7 wonderful years. I miss him a great deal & although I know that he had the greatest view of our wedding day I hoped for the longest time that his passing was just a horrible dream. A month after FIL passed, we were sitting at my best friend’s engagement party when DH turned to me & said, 'My father would loved to see this for us. Do you really want to marry me?' I replied with, 'Yes I do.' & he said, 'Ok.'

The Proposal
March 17, 2008
DH stayed up the entire night before because he was so nervous about proposing. He replaced my everyday ring with my engagement ring & I was supposed to find it when I woke up for school that morning. However, I decided not to go to school that day since I wasn't feeling well. At around 11AM, Chris asked me if I felt well enough to go to the store. So we went to the store.
Strangely enough, I threw on sweat pants & a tee shirt & no jewelry (for the first time in 8 years). So off to the store we went. When we got back home I unpacked the groceries & joined Chris sitting on the couch. He said, “I have a surprise for you.” I said, “Why?” knowing our anniversary was 3 days away. So he told me to go look on my desk. I didn’t even notice it. Then I picked it up, put it on, and couldn’t believe it. Took it off for him to put on & then I said yes. DH purchased the six prong, round diamond, platinum Tiffany setting engagement ring. We never looked at engagement rings together. The only thing I ever told DH was that it had to be a six prong ring. He did a great job on the purchase!!!!

The Date
April 23, 2010
We had a difficult time picking a date. I personally wanted Saturday, March 20, 2010 (our 10 year anniversary) but DH wanted a new date to celebrate. We considered dates in May & September & then we finally decided on Friday, April 23 because of the Cherry Blossoms in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. (it’s a yearly tradition that DH & I go to so we figured it would be extra special.)

Save The Dates - Vista Print –A
It took me about 2 hours to find a website which would allow me to fully customize a save the date card. I like everything to reflect mine & DH's personalities & a stock item would have never sufficed. Many of the other 2010 brides on LIW recommended vistaprint. So after 3 hours of design work I finally came up with something that we both liked. As a bonus my parents and sister also loved the design. I received the cards & envelopes right on time according to the ship date. I loved them even more in person. We received rave reviews of the design from friends & family and I was extremely happy with the outcome.

The Weather – A+
For the entire year leading up until our wedding day, I told everyone that the one thing I would not stress about was the weather. I cannot control it so I did not want the added stress. Well, my sister had a different idea. She decided, beginning 14 days before the wedding she would text me the weather every day, this drove me crazy. The morning of the wedding I woke up to a beautiful blue sky. We ended up with a 67 degree day & no clouds in sight. It was truly amazing.

The Church - Our Lady of Angels – A+
We decided to get married at Our Lady of Angels in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, honestly because DH never received confirmation & we had a friend’s connection. DH would have liked to get married at the Botanical Gardens but I had to get married in Church. I always had the dreams & vision of me walking down the aisle. We met with Father Calder on Saturday, March 21, 2009. He was an absolute pleasure to meet with. DH & I where extremely comfortable with him & we decided to be very honest with him. He only mentioned once to DH that he should consider receiving confirmation & when DH explained that with his work & school schedule in the months leading up to the wedding it would be very hard for him, Father left it at that. He only wanted to hear from DH that he would baptize our future children in church & raise them in the catholic religion & he was happy. We also did Pre-Cana with Father Calder, a month before the wedding. This was also a wonderful experience. We went to the church read over the booklet asked a couple of questions & called it a night. The day of the wedding everything turned our perfect. DH & I have such a great relationship with Father Calder & he really made our ceremony a memory that will last a lifetime.

Wedding Bands – Tiffany & Co. – A++
Of course I had to have the band that matched my engagement ring. My wedding band is the Tiffany wedding band ring in Platinum. DH picked the Lucida Wedding band ring also in Platinum & it is 4.5mm wide.

The Hall - Grand Prospect Hall – A+
I really owe finding a hall to my sister. She took care of setting up all the appointments, asking all the questions & doing the majority of the research. We decided to book The Grand Prospect Hall after my sister & I saw it together back in September of 2008. The day we went we where there for 2.5 hours. We saw every room option, every ceremony location available, where we could take pictures & we reviewed every menu option. DH was amazing during the hall finding period. He only wanted to go see 'the hall.'
A few weeks after my sister & I where there I took DH to see the hall. The night before our appointment I could not sleep because I was so afraid he wouldn't like it. My sister & I had looked at 5 other halls prior & called probably 50 other halls just for information. I was done searching. We went to see the hall & when we first arrived I really couldn't read DH. I was still very nervous but we had the grand tour. He obviously really liked the hall. He also picked the room that I picked which was a big relief. Since my parents only live in the Brooklyn area part time, the banquet manager was so patient & held our date & price quote until right before the Christmas Holidays. My parents also loved the hall and room that we picked. We officially booked the hall on December 6, 2008.
We had our food tasting on November 7, 2009, 11 months after we booked. We had our fingers crossed that the food would be at least decent. DH, my parents, MIL & I went for the food tasting. We received another grand tour and discussed our options, because my mom liked one room for CH & DH liked another. The food at the tasting was absolutely amazing. The service was remarkable. We had no idea what to expect & they definitely hit it out of the park. We had everything from passed hor’dorves to dessert.
My parents, DH & I went back to the hall on March 9, 2010 to finalize the menu & choose the linens. Once again we were welcomed with open arms.
The day before the wedding DH & I dropped off all of our items with detailed directions of where we wanted everything & how we wanted the room to look.
The first reveal of the room brought tears to my eyes. Everything was perfect. Our guests are still raving about the food & service. We also have heard a million times over, how much everyone loved the décor.

My Dress
Victoriana by Maggie Sottero – A+
I started by looking at Demetrios dresses in Macys Bridal. Although I loved all the ones I tried on, I just couldn't find 'the one.' I decided to look at some local dress stores in Brooklyn with my sister and found a few Maggie dresses that I really liked. When I brought my mom to see the ones I picked, she felt that they didn't look right on me since I am short. A wonderful sales person pulled a dress for me to try. She said it is the dress she ordered for her wedding & thought I would like it. It was the Victoriana. It was love at first sight. I finally put on a dress that I didn't want to take off. I stood in the store spinning around like a princess. That’s when my mom, my sister & I decided it was the dress for me.

Valentina Bridal – A+
A few days after I decided on the Victoriana, I called Valentina Bridal to set up an appointment to try on the dress. It turned out they didn't have it in their store. I was so upset because I always wanted to order my dress from Valentina. I set up an appointment anyway. Luckily I did, because an hour later the receptionist called me to let me know that the Victoriana was just delivered to them. My mom & I went to the store about a week later. We had a great experience. The girls where extremely helpful & fully knowledgeable of all the dresses they had. I tried on the Victoriana again, among other dresses & knew it was 'the one.' We went back on April 14, 2009 and officially ordered the dress. My dad even came in to see it on me & he said I looked beautiful so that made me 100% sure.
I got “the call” on November 12, 2009 while at work that my dress was in. I was super excited & sent a text to DH & my sister trying to convey my level of excitement.
I had my first fitting on December 5, 2009 and it fit like a glove. The seamstress took care of pinning the hem & started on the cap sleeve design.
My second fitting was on February 27, 2010. Leading up until this fitting, I was very nervous about the fit of the dress since it had fit so well in December. This was also a very special fitting because my niece wanted to share in it with me. I was very relieved when the dress still fit like a glove. The hem was perfect & the outline of the cap sleeve was just what I wanted.
My final fitting was on April 13, 2010. I was extremely nervous since the last time I tried the dress was 6 weeks earlier. The dress was perfect & I loved the finished cap sleeve. It was at this time when I decided to change my bustle to a French bustle because the regular bustle was hurting my back. The tailor was happy to make me happy.
I picked up my dress on April 21, 2010, it was all ready for me to take home (steamed, stuffed & sealed). Since it was raining that day I decided it would be best for me to not open it up until I got it home. The girls in the store assured me if there were any problems they would come to the house & fix it, no questions asked. I hung the dress is my parents room & my mom & I started to open the package. We were so happy with everything.
I was purchased my crystal edge veil from here & I loved it. It looked beautiful on the day of the wedding & looks amazing in the pictures.

The Cake – Villabate-Alba, Brooklyn, NY – B+ (only because of the hassle before the wedding)
I am not a cake person; I only eat a handful of desserts, but however my DH loves dessert. I was more concerned with what the outside of the cake looked like over what the inside was going to taste like. I found a couple of pictures on-line that I really loved. The problem was that our cake allowance was included in our hall price, but it was impossible for me to find out that amount. On, Friday, March 26, I spent most of the day calling the RH & the bakery trying to find out the price per slice allowance & yelled at just about everyone & no one would give me a straight answer. I wanted a beautiful cake but I did not want it to cost us an arm & a leg to get it. DH & I decided that with only 4 weeks until the wedding it was time to go pick a cake. On first arrival at the bakery, DH & I where so annoyed that we almost walked out & where moments away from not having a cake at our wedding. That’s when someone walked over to us & started to make us feel better about the situation that was at hand. We decided on a cake & where pretty happy with our decision. We where speechless when we first saw the cake, it was perfect. It tasted amazing & at the end of the night the matri’d told us that guests where asking for seconds. He said they served the entire cake.

Shoes - Zappos.com; Caparros Amari (Style # F3802) – A
I need everyone to know that I hate wearing heels. I love heels but I can’t stand wearing them. The week before I had to buy my shoes, I found out that I have major back issues. I gave my sister the task of finding me shoes. She instantly started e-mailing me pictures & we ordered three pairs of shoes. They came in the same week as my first fitting & since I loved all three of them I tried each of them on with my dress to pick out the best pair. I decided on the Caparros Amari because they had the most support.
I wore the shoes from 11AM until 11PM & I was not in an ounce of pain. I took them off for the last hour or the reception only because with my back problems my physical therapist did not want me to wear heels for that long.

Bridesmaid Dresses - Adriennes (New York City) – B
I am happy to say that the most stressful part of wedding planning was my bridesmaid’s dresses. Anything that could have gone wrong did. I had picked out a dress in April 2009, I was ready to place the order when I found out the store we would be ordering from closed. My mom searched high & low for another store that would offer it to us for the same price. Impossible. Then my bridesmaid’s decided that they really didn’t like the dress anymore. I pulled my hair out for weeks trying to find another dress. I finally found two that I liked. The night we went to place the order my mom found another dress & that’s the one we ordered. So my girls wore Lazaro 3979 in Black. My flower girls wore Dessy FL4001 in Ivory and my sister-in-law wore JH5964 in Black (Jim Hjelm Occasions Collection). Due to the bridesmaid stress, I had to deal with the Manhattan & West Islip location. They both where wonderful.
The Jim Hjelm & Dessy dresses arrived sometime in December. We have no idea when because no one ever received a phone call. The Lazaro dress finally arrived on February 19, 2010. I must have called the store 100 times that week in anticipation of the dress arriving. In order to make things easy for my girls, my mom & I picked up all the dresses & I brought them to my girls the weekend after. As far as sizes go, my sister could have fit another person in her dress & my younger niece really needed a smaller size. The other 5 dresses just needed minor alterations.
Once everyone had their dresses altered on their own, everyone looked perfect. I loved the way they looked the day of & I think they look amazing in the pictures.

The Band – The Zoo – A++++++++++
The day we got engaged my mom started to ask Chris & I if there was anything that we knew we had to have and the only answer Chris had was that he wanted to have a band. So the band search began. We went to a few weddings & heard a bunch of bands prior to being engaged but we never said, wow. A few months after being engaged we went to a friends wedding & on the way home we couldn’t stop talking about the band. Her band/dj combination was The Zoo, which she booked threw OmniPop Talent group. We sat on booking the band up until July 2009, because it was going to be a big expense. While at work one day, I just decided to call Barbara to find out pricing information and if our date was available. The price was great and our date was still available. I spoke to DH that night and I called back the next day and had the contract mailed to us. I didn’t hear anything again from Barbara until February 2010 when our paperwork was due to the band.
They did an amazing job. Chris was crazy strict about what he wanted played & in February I e-mailed them a list & apologized for how strict he was being. The night of the wedding, the band leader had our request lists in hand & made sure those where the only songs (song genres) played. The entire crew told us that our request list was the best they had ever seen. Our family & friends are still telling us how much they loved the band.

The Flowers – 13th Avenue Florist – A++++++++++
From the day that we set our date, I knew I wanted to work with George at 13th Avenue Florist. He did the bouquets for my brothers wedding when he first opened his store in 2000 & the flowers where beautiful. I remember my mom having my bouquet in the house for two weeks. He does remarkable work. After waiting for everyone to be ready, we finally met with George on March 9, 2010. He knew who I was as soon as we walked into the store. He remembered my brother’s wedding & every detail. He gave us an excellent price, better than I ever imagined.
George was personally at my parent’s house at 7AM that morning to decorate outside & then he personally delivered the bouquets to me & then the boutonnieres to DH. He then personally decorated the pews & he also set up all of the CPs at the hall for us. My bouquet seriously weighed 5 lbs.

The Videographer/Photographer – Creative Video, Sahar & Joustav – A++++++++++
Sahar is a family friend who has taped our dance recital for the last couple of years. I decided to set up an appointment with her to see her work. I was absolutely floored when I saw what she could do with a video camera. Her attention to detail is amazing. I sat at her house for 3 hours that first meeting and watched a selection of DVDs. She knew every bride on a personal level and that was what I loved most about her work.
Sahar & Joustav arrived at my parent’s house at 10AM, day of. They checked the lighting & the sun light for the first hour they where there. They said they had to make sure every angle was perfect. They were wonderful the entire day. While on our honeymoon, I checked their website & noticed that all the pictures (all 1600 of them) where posted the day after the wedding. Every picture is amazing!!!

The Limos – Double Diamond, Brooklyn, NY – A+
Our limousines where a gift from my brother & sister-in-law, the day they offered to pay for them I almost fell on the floor. It was truly above & beyond anything we ever expected. We completely fell behind in booking when it came to limousines. We didn’t officially book until December 1, 2009. Tommy at Double Diamond is a friend of a friend. We didn’t go in looking for a break or anything special but he truly treated us like family. We booked the Rolls Royce for DH & I & the Chrysler 300 for the bridal party. He gave us a great deal & even threw in an extra car for after the reception. I went to pay our balance two weeks before the wedding & I finalized all the details.
The drivers the day of where wonderful. They made sure we got where we needed to go in a safe & timely fashion.

Pictures at The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens – A (because of the stress they caused me initially)
DH was set on getting married at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, but I wanted a traditional ceremony in a Church. So to compromise we decided to book pictures at the gardens. They are absolutely impossible to reach by phone. I would call & leave a message and then receive a message back from them 2 or 3 days later. DH & I just decided to go to the registration office on March 9, 2010 because we knew we wanted pictures there no matter what. It was such a breeze that day. The simplest thing I ever had to do.
We got to our appointment late that day due to taking more pictures at Church then we thought we would. Upon first arrival they were very rude to us. At this point it was 4PM, I had been awake since 7AM & had nothing to eat all day. I had a headache & was in no mood to deal with any crap. I told one of the GM to deal with the situation & let me know when it was time for pictures. I have no idea what happened but our 45 minutes session turned into an hour & a half in paradise. The guard who escorted us was wonderful. He knew all the great places to take pictures & obviously was willing to work with us.

Tuxedos – Phil’s Tuxedos – B
I set up an appointment with Phil after a friend’s recommendation. He also was great to work with. He listened to what we wanted & offered suggestions of what looked best on DH. DH was measured the same day & we where out of the store in 15 minutes. DH went with the guys to get measured during the following week & then my brother, nephew & dad went shortly after.
We went to pick up the tuxedos on the Wednesday before the wedding. The best man & one of the GM went in the afternoon & then DH, my brother, nephew & 2 other GM all ended up being there at the same time. My brother had requested a black shirt & Phil did not have it ready. He kept looking at his paperwork, saying, I don’t know about that. Meanwhile I know my brother well enough to know that he requested a black shirt. My nephew like many 8 year old boys, hates getting dressed up, it was very easy to tell that he was unhappy with the situation at hand, meanwhile Phil was trying to joke around with him. DHs tuxedo shirt was a disaster. The first one Phil had for him was completely wrinkled & did not fit him at all. The second option looked like he borrowed his little brothers shirt, way too small on him. To be honest I have no idea what shirt he ended up with but it looks good in the pictures. I heard that when DH went to put his tie on that morning he noticed it was all stained so we went back to the store to get a replacement. He said Phil was really nice to him. We all agreed that we will not go back to the store, nor would we recommend it to friends or family.

Invitations – T E S S A – A+
After searching for a month for affordable invitations that reflected our style, I decided to reach out to T E S S A at E V E N S T A R P A P E R I E.C O M (no spaces). I am so glad I did. I know there are many mixed reviews about her & her work but I found that if you follow her worksheets & fill them out to the fullest, you will have a great experience using her. Her work is above & beyond anything I ever pictured. DH said, “How did this women know what was going on in your head?” We received our invitations on December 1, 2009, way ahead of schedule. I was just so excited to have them safe at home. They where everything we expected & more, the invitations truly came out amazing!! We also used T E S S A for programs, menus, place cards, table numbers & favor tags. She is absolutely wonderful to work with.

Programs, Menus, Table Numbers, Escort Cards, Favor Tags – T E S S A – A+
When it came time for all the last minute details that we wanted, I had no doubt in my mind about using T e s s a’s services again. When it comes to purchasing items like these, you really have to wait until right before the wedding to have everything finalized, which was one thing that killed me because I love having things done early. I received an e-mail from T e s s a on Sunday, April 11, 2010 requesting up to date information & by Monday afternoon, I already had program & menu on-line proofs. Everything was amazing. I received the package of all the items complete on Saturday, April 17, 2010. Everyone commented on how beautiful everything came out.

Unity Candle – justweddingfavorsonline.com – A
I used Kim based on a recommendation from a fellow 2010 bride & I could not have been happier. I sent a detailed e-mail to her of what I wanted & within 24 hours I had two mock ups. I loved them both but loved one more. Purchased the candle & they arrived in a very timely fashion. They came out amazing. Definitely a great keepsake.

Dress Label – justembroidedtotes.com – A
I knew I had to have a dress label. It came out great & I was so happy that I ordered it.

Hair Comb – Manhattan Street Vendor – A
I have no idea where my sister found this comb. She purchased it from a Manhattan Street Vendor & I absolutely loved it.

Flower Girl Baskets & Ring Pillow – Oriental Trading – A
The first set that I feel in love with was a beautiful Damask pattern but it would have cost me $150 for 2 baskets & 1 pillow. My next idea was to have my aunt make them, when I spoke to her about it, of course she was willing to do it but then we discovered that it’s the Damask fabric that costs so much. I gave up all hope of finding something else that I would like. One day my sister e-mailed me a whole bunch of links & this matching set was one of the links. I loved them!! They arrived rather quickly & they look great in person.

Marriage License – City Clerk’s Office in Manhattan – A
We also scheduled to get our marriage license on March 9, 2010. I was extremely worried about this procedure. I know all too well about how long you can get stuck waiting for anything having to do with New York City. We arrived at the bureau at 1PM & we were out & on our way by 1:45PM!!!!!

Organza Bags for Bird Seed – Yourorganzabag.com – A
We initially where going to use bubbles at the end of our ceremony but about a month before the wedding I kept having horrible dreams about the bubbles staining our dresses. I decided to bring up my concern with DH & he said, let’s do bird seed instead. The next morning I was searching all over the internet for organza bags when I stumbled upon this website. I was a little concerned at first as to how they could be so cheap so I posted a questions & another 2010er said she ordered from the company & was very happy. So I went ahead and took a chance. I received the bags within a week & we were very happy with the quality.

Favors – Micallinastreasures.com – A
Our favor search began sometime in November of 2009 & we couldn’t agree on anything for about 2 months. Every day during lunch I would search the internet for some favor I liked. Then would save the links & show them to DH when I got home. Everything was, useless, too expensive or too cheap. Then I came across these salt & pepper shakers. The first site I found them on was rather expensive so I continued searching & then I found this website. They where the price I was happy paying for the item. I ordered a sample & DH & I loved it. I showed my parents & MIL for some more input & they also agreed. I ordered them & we received them with 10 days. I was a little annoyed because the box they came in, was completely dog eared but after opening the box I noticed all the favors where individually boxed & wrapped.

Day of Hair – Grace – B+
I am so upset that I have to give her a B+ but I just cannot give her a better grade. Grace used to work for a hair salon in Brooklyn, but after having her daughter earlier this year she decided to work from home. She has done my hair many times in the past (formal occasions & cut & blow out) so I completely trusted her for my wedding. Leading up to the wedding, with all the stress my hair was falling out like crazy. So a couple of weeks before the wedding, I went to her for a 3 inch trim and to discuss my day of hair. She initially did an amazing job with my hair, I absolutely loved how simple & elegant it was. I went home to get my make-up done & within an hour all the curls fell out. My mom started crying & had me go back to her house. I went back & she re-curled it & explained that it was because my veil was rubbing against my hair so she sprayed them again & assured me they would last. It’s sad to say that by the time I arrived to the hall, after Church & pictures (about 6 hours later) they all fell out again. Luckily my cousin is a hair stylist & she re-curled my hair & sprayed again.
Grace also did my sisters hair & my niece’s hair & they all looked amazing & their hair styles lasted all day. Both of my nieces fell asleep on their hair & it still looked great. I will continue to use Grace because my sister’s curls didn’t fall out so I guess it’s possible that the material from the veil was the real cause of the hair headaches that day.

Day of Make-up – Phyllis – A+
This woman did an amazing job. I do not wear make-up on a regular basis & when I do it’s only a little eye shadow. I told her that I wanted to look like me with soft & natural make-up & that’s just what she did. She had me finished in about 45 minutes & half way through my pictures at home she did a little touch up. She also did make-up for my mom, sister & SIL. Everyone looked amazing. I plan on using her whenever I need to wear any make-up because she was that wonderful.

My Shower
January 23, 2010
Mamma Rao’s, Brooklyn, NY – A+
From day one I said I wanted my shower to be a surprised, however I am a big snoop & I absolutely hate when I do not know what is going on. It turns out that my parents, my sister & DH where all sneaking around my every move to plan my shower. It was a huge surprise & my mom & sister did more than I could have ever imagined. For starters my sister hand made every invitation to go with the theme. My mom hired a professional photographer for the evening & purchased cupcakes (my favorite) for dessert. The staff at Mamma Rao’s did an amazing job. My mom had an issue with received more No’s then anticipated & that night they brought out the extra dinners for the guests to sample. The best part about my shower was that my mom had it on a Saturday night so it was a great party atmosphere. DH & I stayed up until 2AM looking through all the gifts we received. I will be very honest & say that there where many, many things we did not received from our registry which was very disappointing, but we are very thankful for the things we did receive.

Rehearsal
April 10, 2010
Once again Father Calder went above & beyond to accommodate us. We had our rehearsal on a Saturday evening after mass so that it would be convenient for everyone involved. We had a great rehearsal. Everyone did a great job & it was a piece of cake.

Rehearsal Dinner Invitations – Vista Print – A
Again just like the save the dates, I wanted something that I could customize & that would match our other papers items. I again turned to Vista Print. We received them the same week I ordered them & they where amazing. I will forever use this company for all of my invitation needs.

Rehearsal Dinner
Greenhouse Café, Brooklyn, NY – A
This was not the original planned location but due to circumstances beyond our control MIL decided on this location. She said that the planning process was painless. The dinner was amazing. The menu was packed with choices & the restaurant even catered to vegetarians & my sister who has Celiac Disease (she cannot eat anything that contains gluten). Our waitress was amazing. By the end of the night she knew everyone’s name & really went above & beyond for us.

Congratulations! What a great revew...love the back story. Our Rehearsal was also at Greenhouse Cafe. I use a lot of the Brooklyn vendors, so I really enjoyed your honesty. Your pictures are great and you both looked so beautiful.
