Finally! 10/9 Review WITH PICS, Patken, Villa..LONG..ADDED LINK TO PROFESSIONAL PATKEN PICS!!!

Okay, I am going to start my review. This time I did it Microsoft word and copy/pasted it so I what happened last time would not happen again. I couldn’t have asked for more or a day so perfect as Oct. 9th was. The weather was 70 degrees, perfect weather for an afternoon outside ceremony. I love my husband soo much, we cried, we laughed, we embrassed. There was not a dry eye in the house with the parent dances or our first dance. The love in that room was unbelievable.
I know it may be a little late but I wanted to rate my major vendors that made my day the most specular day it could have been. Without these talented professionals, I would not have felt like a pampered bride. I have a ton of pics at the end, they are my professional pics, Patken took. Have fun!

Villa Lombardi’s- A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Maitre’d Ray, Out lived my expectations!! The day went soo fast and soo smooth and all because of Ray my maitre’d. Villa girls ASK FOR RAY! He is just as anal, organized and on top of things that I have been throughout my whole wedding planning process. When I asked him about details, or had a question, he either did it already, or took care of it. He was always one step ahead of me. I didn’t eat much at the wedding itself, but everything I did eat was fantastic! My parents and I are still hearing how much food there was, and how yummy it tasted. My cake was whipped cream, chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and raspberry filling. Cake was actually the only thing I really sat down and ate. It was the best cake ever, and I particularly don’t care for bakery cake at all. Most importantly, the cake was exactly how beautiful I envisioned it to be.
My husband and I did table rounds during the 1st two courses so we can boogie down. We danced, mingled and partied our butts off the entire reception. I did not regret at all dancing and having a great time with family on the dance floor instead of constant chit chat at tables. Hey you want the brides company? Get on the floor and boogie! Many people are still saying it was the best wedding they have been too. Villa brides you have nothing to worry about. I did have some difficulties contacting our BM at times, and did feel like I was treated a little rudely at times, but there strictness def paid off in the end with the final product. I would have another event at Villa in a heart beat! Hopefully in the future someone else has their wedding there so I can enjoy the food!

Patken Photographer- Doug-A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
We used Patken for our pictures and video, haven’t seen the video yet but if it compares to my proofs I know I will be blown away! The extra money we paid for Doug was worth every single penny! He was at my house at 7:45am ready to go and cracking me up the entire day! He is an awesome person, professional, funny and a fabulous photographer. My mom tends to be a control freak(that’s where I get it from), Doug handled her like a pro and she kept her mouth shut about pics for the rest of the day. THANK YOU DOUG!!
Doug captured my day in such a way that brings me back like I was there again. Every single picture is beautiful and I absolutely love, it was soo hard for me to pic 60 pictures for my album. I seriously can look at all my pics all day everyday and never get tired of them. Since I live in CT, Patken had my pics ready by the time I came back from my honeymoon. Their normal turn around is 2 weeks, but because I had to go to CT before the two weeks, they were ready early! Another bonus service for me was Doug just put my pics online so my close family who live out of state can see them and let me know what pics they want to order. Awesome service! Everyone at their office is soo nice, and I don’t understand why some people complain about their service at the office. Patience is needed in life. I will seriously use Patken and Doug for any major life event that takes place over the course of my life. I already told my husband when the time comes I am taking pregnancy pictures there, they are photographing all major life events. I recommend them totally! I don’t have a bad thing to say about Patken! Another vendor you Patken girls have nothing to worry about!

Little Flower Shop in Lindenhurst-A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Here is another vendor who exceded my expectations. Ron took my fantasy, thoughts and pictures in my head what I wanted and turned it into a reality. I didn’t want to go a “wedding factory florist” and Little Flower shop has been our florist since we moved to Lindy when I was 4. Ron is a doll to work with, patient, professional and awesome. My flowers were one of my favorite parts of the day. I did not want to put them down. My roses were so fresh, the bouquets were beautiful. My centerpieces were once again above my expectations.

Perfect Parties A+++++++++++++++
Chris the owner was our MC, he kept everyone out on the dance floor the entire day. I was worried that an afternoon wedding no one would dance. Let me tell you my fellow future afternoon girls, where there is alcohol and good music people will dance! My dance floor was PACKED the entire time! We had giveaways and lightshows and those giveaways were not the cheesy ones either, people couldn’t believe what he was giving out. He didn’t play anything on my do not play list, Chris did everything absolutely perfect! He was a sweetheart to work with, he did both my wedding and engagement party.

Bridal Reflections-Gown & BM-B+
I give them a B+ cause of a couple reasons. First the bad: they were rude to one of my BM’s and they totally messed up my bustle( I’ll go into that). Otherwise I never did have any problems throughout my whole process from try on’s to fittings they were accommodating, nice and great to work with. Now on to the bustle. The style of my dress being couture, it had to be done a certain way and that I understand. This bustle was good in concept, HORRID in execution! I had button going down the back of my dress with a chapel train. Not a long train, so they figured if they change on the buttons, put a metal back on it, put a loop on the train, I could then put the loop onto the dress, bingo bango you have a bustle. NOT QUITE! The damn thing fell 3 times! It just wouldn’t stay up, they forgot to factor in the WEIGHT of the train, and it kept slipping off the button. Thank goodness I brought my day of emergency bag cause my bustle wound up being safety pinned to my butt the entire night, not once but twice! There were some minor things that I noticed that I am sure no one else did and I wasn’t going to let anything ruin my wedding day.

I will seriously use Patken and Doug for any major life event that takes place over the course of my life. I already told my husband when the time comes I am taking pregnancy pictures there, they are photographing all major life events. I recommend them totally! We used Patken too. Loved my proofs. We used Steve though but I LOVE Doug's work, just wasn't in the budget.

Pics are beautiful!! I saw you there right before the ceremony-i am getting married there in 3 weeks and was there on the 9th meeting with the BM! I thought the pics looked familiar and then checked my planner and we were there on the 9th! Congrats!!!!!!!
