Finally 5/5/06 Cinco de Mayo Wedding w/ some Pro Pics Glen Island Harbour Club
I finally purchased a scanner last night......so here is my little review with some professional pictures...Glen Island: A+++++
I had Rocco has my BM. He was outstanding!! When I arrived, he was standing at the door in a full tuxedo, I felt like he was waiting for us to get there!! (He was probably just getting fresh air ? ) My bridal attendant was amazing. My only request was not to let my MIL in, but she slipped past and burst into my room. The bridal suite was full of food and wine. We had a great time getting ready with a gorgeous view of the Long Island Sound. The servers were amazing, everything ran on time, down to the minute. Glen Island was a perfect choice!!
Arcadia Florist: A
We worked with Jen on our flowers. She had the same vision I had and made it come to life. Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous, we still get comments about them!!
Big Apple Entertainment: A+++++
Paul was the life of the party, no cheesy group dances, no cheesy MC voices. He was wonderful!!!!!
Meme’s in Larchmont: A
Meme’s found me a Maggie Sottero gown that I found in a magazine and had it shipped in for me. I absolutely loved my gown and found it very comfortable.
Vera the makeup artist: A-
The minus is because she kept stopping to answer her damn cell phone and made us late. But we arrived looking stunning.
Davids Bridal (Bridesmaid Dresses) Yonkers: Big Fat F!
You’ve heard before how much I hate David’s Bridal. The only good thing that came out of this was the fact that I loved the girls dresses. But they lost my sisters shoes the week of the wedding, they ruined one of my BM’s dresses by taking it in way too tight, putting a huge run up the front and then telling her she must have gotten fat! They overnighted a new dress, but as you can see in the pics, we couldn’t get it altered quick enough, so she has straps…..but she still looked beautiful.
Men’s Warehouse: A+
The salespeople at Men’s Warehouse are amazing, they knew my name when I came back for another visit, they even remembered me a few weeks ago! Wonderful guys, even tailored my husbands rented suit for him. No problems!!
Regency Studios Photography and Video: A+
Raul was wonderful, really captured the day. His jokes are a little annoying, but his talent supercedes that. They were a little overpriced but the work says it all for me.
