I'M BACK AND I'M A MRS!!!! Woo Hoo! HERE IS MY REVIEW OF MY WEDDING AT GIORGIOS ON 4/25/04 - WITH PICS! Now with some proofs on pg 2!

Everything was soooo perfect and I can't believe that it's all over - It flew by so quickly! I finally married the man of my dreams and now we have the future ahead of us and we are soooo excited.
I'll start my review from the beginning.....................

Rebecca is a total sweetheart. She was very helpful (even with my million questions and I was sooooo happy with my invitations....

David's Bridal - 0 - My gown, my BM dresses, and my Mothers dress
I will never, ever go there again (Carle Place). The staff was rude and dismissive of any and all questions we had. We were not told when we ordered the BM dresses that they were discontinued - then when I called months later to check and see if they came in thats when they decided to tell us that important piece of info. They finally found the dress (only because I kept on them) They never called to tell us when they came in, then they came in the wrong sizes. Thank god my sister had lost weight so hers fit. My Moms dress had to be taken to a tailor to have it taken in. And when I went to pick them up it took them 45 minutes to find the dresses and when the girl brought them out from the back she walked up and just about threw them on the counter and walked away without saying a word. You may get good prices at Davids Bridal but the service sucks!!

Hair - Sarah Rock - 10 & Makeup - Jillian Eisenberg - 10
These girls are the sweetest! and they did an amazing job on my hair and makeup as well as my MOHs and my Mother and flower girl. We got amazing compliments and everything stayed so perfectly. They probably thought I was crazy because when I got to my Moms house they were working on my the girls and as soon as I saw them I started crying - all of the sudden I realized that it was sooo real - I was getting MARRIED!!

Flowers - Flower Michele - 10 +++++
John did an AMAZING job on all the flowers (as usual ) Everyone was asking who the florist was! The flowers smelled amazing too! John was soo great about listening to my ideas and even though I changed my mind he was very patient with me . Thanks John - you are the BEST!!!!!!

Royal Brass - 10
I honestly don't even remember seeing them, they played while the guests were arriving at Giorgios and they played for the ceremony but I was so overwhelmed walking towards Chris that I don't even really remember who was there But everyone loved the Royal Brass and thought it was a really great touch.

Giorgio's - 10 ++++++++
I highly recommend Giorgio's to everyone. They were sooooo amazing. First of it was sunny in the morning so I was planning on having the ceremony outside - well shortly after the guests started to arrive it started to rain so they all had to move inside for the ceremony - I was amazed at at smoothly and calmly they moved everything (150 chairs) inside
We never really got to make it to the cocktail hour like we planned and Chris was upset that we missed the sushi bar - so George had a HUGE platter of sushi delivered for Chris right to us at the dais during the reception -we couldn't believe he did that !
The food and the service was amazing! and our bridal attendant Tracy was amazing - she was right on top of things and had our whole car packed up at the end of the night with things I had even forgotten about

DJ Tommy Tunes - 10
We had Joe C as our MC and I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the DJ - they were great though - everyone danced and had a great time. The kids even loved them - they let them wear the headphones and act as MC's they loved it and it was very cute! Would highly recommend them.

ADA Studios - will let you know - so far so good
We had Thomas as our photographer - he was very friendly and he knew what was going on - I just got a call from them saying that our proofs are already done - WOW that was fast - I'll probably pick them up tomorrow

Hampton Jitney - 10 - limo for bridal party and bus for guests
They were early and very friendly - I had a bus for the guests that left from Southampton so they all didn't have to drive so far - they LOVED it and thought it was a great idea.

CONGRATS... I have 2 questions for you



I am having alot of trouble with my R.C. church and am wanting to get married at the reception hall (which is giorgio's )


Can you tell me about your ceremony
and where did they have it, where were you set up for it, would you recommend being married at the reception hall ?

The cake was beautiful and just I had imagined it! and very tasty too

Shoreham Bridal and Tuxedo Center - 10 - alterations
After all my problems with David's Bridal I decided to have all my alterations as well as the girls done elsewhere so we had them done at Shoreham Bridal - I'm so glad I did - they were very friendly and we were all happy with the results!

Honeymoon - Sandals Grande St Lucian - 10 ++++++
We had an amazing time - we had a swim up room and we loved it - We relaxed to the fullest! Having a 3 year old at home I enjoyed every second of the relaxation My only advice to you going there is to book reservations at the other hotels restaurants and for the resort diving course as Soon as you get there - we waited until the 2nd day and the next spot open for the diving class wasn't until the day before we left and we couldn't get in to Kimonos - the Japanese restaurant like we Really wanted to! The only thing we did out of the resort was go shopping - we got some good deals but they really get in your face at the marketplace. All the restaurants are really good especially Toscanini's - mmmm! FM me if you want more specifics on anything

Oh and thank you to our own WeezieNY for doing my Wedding cake card box - everyone complimented it

Here's the Giorgios web site I also have a link to the our pictures here too so you can see it - The ceremony outside would have been beautiful with a gazebo and an arch way to walk under and water falls but it rained so we had the ceremony inside - which was also beautiful because they face you to look over the golf course - very pretty! The ceremony and cocktail hour are separate so however long it takes for the ceremony doesn't matter - the hour for the cocktail hour starts after the ceremony. We weren't going to have a receiving line and somehow we didn't run up to the bridal suite fast enough and ended up having one which is why we didn't get to make it to the cocktail hour because between the receiving line and pictures it took up our hour - oh well
