So, I don't post here very often, but I do peruse the boards and when I needed a band 6 weeks before my wedding, I found them through here...so I wanted to write a review of my wedding to spread the word about my fantastic hall and amazing vendors!

GIORGIO'S: On a scale of 1-10, 1 20!
We had looked at quite a few halls, and honestly, I thought we would book the Three Village Inn or Lombardi's on the Sound. But my sister kept telling me to check Giorgio's out. So we went. And we fell in love with it. My dad and DH didn't love the sales pitch at first, but the hall overcame every expectation.

They were so easy to deal with throughout the entire planning process. When I would call, they would work with my looney questions and were always lovely.

On the day of my wedding, they treated me like a Queen. As I was walking up the staircase, George, Jr. greeted myself and my bridal party and welcomed us and it was just amazing from then on out. I couldn't believe how the staff would come up to us and tell us congrats or how they would do anything for us. The toliet in the bridal suite clogged and George Jr unclogged it himself!

The food was fantastic and people are still raving about how they got whatever they want at all times. I seriously could go on all day about how amazing they are. If you want an amazing, personal and beautiful wedding, check out Giorgio's!

DUET: 10!
Honestly, my mom and I only went to see them. We met with Eric and Nicole in their apartment in NYC. They were amazing, worked with us on the details. I loved that they were both on LI (close to Giorgio's) and in the city (close to us), makes things MUCH easier!

On the day of the wedding, Alberto and Gio were on time, plesant and unassming. Alberto didn't mind when my BP and I kicked him out of the room o we could get dressed. They set up beautiful shots that I can't stop looking at. They were dubbed 'The Ninja Twins' by my DH's family b/c they were EVERYWHERE taking pictures of EVERYTHING. We have our proofs and I will add some later on tonight when I get home.

LIVEWIRE: 10!!!!
Ok. I had another band. They blew me off (literally) 6 weeks before my wedding. I posted on the Vendors Helping Brides section and got an email from Anthony of Live Wire. We saw them in a showcase in teh city and we thought they were great....little did we know HOW great they were!

They had ALL of our guests moving on the dance floor ALL night! Seriously! We are STILL getting compliments on the music! They learned our wedding song ('You're My Home' by Billy Joel) and just kept the dance floor hopping all night. I've never been to a wedding like that before!

VERBENA DESIGNS/JENNIFER 10!
I love Jennifer. She did our bouquets, bouts, flower bracelets for the female family members and the ceremony flowers. I told her generally what I wanted and she went with it. Amazing flowers!

Also, she is a sweetheart. I had a family member do my CP's (with her business, keep reading for more info) and Jennifer offered to help her set them up. I thought that was just the NICEST thing!

MR RIBBON TOO: 10!
Ok. I love this store...and not just b/c they are family. Patty, George, Mary and Co. all helped me SOOO much. They did my invites, favors, CP's and kept me sane! They all refered me to Pam who did the printing on all of my envelopes and placecards. FM me for more info.

Wow....looking at my review I really, really lucked out when it came to my wedding! Hope my review is helpful
