MORE UPDATED PICS FROM MY EASTWIND WEDDING!

All i have to say is I don't care what anyone says all that money we spent it was sooooo worth it. The best day of our lives. make sure you say hello to as many guests as you can at your cocktail hour because the day goes so fast and it is imperitive that you and you husband enjoy every moment. We danced teh whole night and had the best time ever. All the guests kept saying it was so nice to see a bide and groom have fun instead of walking around saying hello to everyone. I felt bad the next day i did not really talk with everyone but i dont regret it, because all of that hard work for a year and half, i made sure we had a great time. I will just write longer thank you notes. My color scheme was chocolate borwn and baby blue and it looked awesome. Good luck ladies and make sure YOU HAVE FUN ON YOUR SPECIAL DAY. Oh and you always forget something and their is always somone or something that annoys you or maybe you have a fight with one or more people..dont let it stress you it will all wok out in the end.....and remember what the day is really about ..DONT BE A BRIDEZILLA NO ONE LIKES A BRIDEZILLA..there is no reason for it.

I did sparklers outside my chirch since i knew it would be dark once i got out of the ceremony at 5pm and because we could not throw rose pedels. I thought of it last minute so i went online and bought a bunch (over priced) i then went to party hardy and they had the long ones for 2.99 a pack. I got lighters and had someone had them out before we exited the church. I never asked the priest if i could do it.. i just did it and he never said anything

labels for back of CD case- I realized i needed to put the songs on their snce I had our parents and maid of honors and best men pick their favorite songs. Then I did our first dance song, the sobg i walked down the aisle to (sting a thousand years) then all of our favorite songs- I wannted to put who picked each song on their as well. So I went to staples go lables and printed them in color looked like it came that way

I burned the songs one a master disc ( you can get everything on i tunes or the net) Then I sent the Cd to this guy I have his info somewhere they are in cali he burned over a 100 of them for less than 1.00 a cd.. and he ships it really fast- you can also have them design the lable with a pic of you if you want.

I purchased my hotel gift bags ( my mistake make sure you read dimensions they cae smaler than i though) otherwise they were adorble . I personalized them and everything fit.

I also purchased personalized napkins for the bathrooms at the recepton hall ( i got them in my color scheme) and they were awesome and cheap

The Inn at Eastwind - AA++
We were never so happy in our life. The food was superb, the service Paul our Matre D unbelieveable. everything was set up exactly how I wanted ( i was a little nervous becuase i never ended up hiring a day of cordinator) but they did eveything the way i wanted i gave them lists and they did it perfect. The room we rented was the south hampton and it was top notch all around. My bridal attendent had a drink for us at all times and when my nephew got sick they brought him and my sister in law right up to the room and got them medicine. I felt like a princess and if anyone is considering getting married here go for it. Also Matthew who runs the hotel desk he was so awesome when we ran out of rooms he did everything to get us more. Also my maid of honours gav him rose pedels and he made sure there was a line of them leading from the dor into our room and then all over our bed . He also put a bottle of champagne in the room. he was the best.


The Finishing Touch - AA++
OH MY GOD is all i have to say. I hired them to decorate my room. I highly suggest anyone to do this... it totally changes the way your wedding looks. It looked so gorgeous. And they were complete professionals and took what i had in my mind and made it a reality. I had them do Ivory table linens and chair covers. I had a chocolate brown satin runner on each table and the side tie chocolate brown sash on the chairs. It really changed the room completely.. it looked so beautiful..Money well spent i thought.. It made us happy. I found them on here as well.

Kleinfelds AA++
The best experience of my life. They treat you like a princess and the seamstress does unbeliveable work. I was lucky to get to work with the designer she happened to be their when i picked out my dress. I went with Ramona Keveza and i love my dress so much I want to wear it again. Someone told me that they have friends who every year on their anniversary go out in a tux and the wedding dress and have dinner and people always send them chmpaign they think they just got married.. So cute.

My Shoes- Nine west
I wore them once to my engagement party and they were so comfortable I wore them again. i really did not want to wear white shoes so these were gold but they matched the brown sash on my wedding gown and I was comfortable and saved myself a few dollars on shoes I probably would never wear again.

My veil- the designer gave to me free- So pretty and simple - but i took it off right after my first dance

My Hair piece- Kleinfelds AA++
I love it they were so pretty .They were these long little stick things with crystals and pearls.. i saw the same ones i wanted by Tigerlily and i showed the accessory manager at kleinfelds and she found me the smae ones half the price by a different designer

She was great loved my hair and everyone elses hair.. She also did extra people not lanned like my mother in law came in upset how her hair looked and she sat her down and fixed it.. She was great

MY MAKEUP- MAKEUP BY JACKIE- AAA+++ - Jackie was awesome we all did airbrush and it looked flawless and natural.. it also lasted a very long time.. she was great!!

Flowers by Burton- B maybe C
Well my bouquet came and the cala lillys were like green and they added some buds which i never wanted.. I was so upset .. my bouquet was the smae size as the bridesmaid..My maid of honours was teh same size as the bridesmaids..so i paid all this money for everything to be the same size.. I paid extra for more flowers in each. The grooms boutneir was mangled and a bunch of the other calalilly boutneirs were mangled as well.

I did Blue Hydrangeas with died brown grass loops for the grls and then mine the same but with calalillys. The centerpices were the same blue hydrangeas low in a gold bowl with the brown loops and 2 calalillys

Once they fixed my bouquet i was very happy everything was then beautiful.. And they sent new boutneirs.. I just did not understand why they messed up in the first place.. It stressed me out a bit..

Make sure you make them show you a smaple of YOUR bouquet and tell them exactly what you want.. show them pictures.

Also the pews they decorated had to be cut down because they went to far up and covered the bridal party and parents so they would not have been able to sit. Thank God my friend was their early and fixed it.

They were unbelieveable.. the pictures they were doing were so differant. I can not wait to see how they came out. But i gave them a few pics i wanted to recreate prior to the wedding and they made sure those were done and then they were doing all these high fashion shots at my house.. I dont know they came up with so many great ideas for shots i did not have to tell them to do one thing.. THEY WERE THE BEST

Get In Tune- DJ- AA+
Andy andMike were great they played great music and thats all taht matters..Me My friends and my family do not need motivation we love to dance so all i needed was them to play what i wanted. I mean no Dj ever plays what you exactly want .. why i d not know..But I have to say I used Tommy tunes and these guys defin follow direction way better then him. At my engagement party the guy plaed like 1 song i wanted and he was bumming cigs off my guests.

Glen's team was very professional. The only reason I do not give a AA++ is because I wanted the first dance we danced to our song to be just us dancing the whole time but they invited guests up too quick.. i dont know i just wanted it to be just us. But otherwise I highly reccommend them they are way better then tomm's tnes in my opinion

PHOTOMONTAGE AA+++- glen had this done for me the only annoying part wAgetting the pictures all on cd in ored.. i went everywhere the cheapest place to get it done was at SAM's Club 2.38 all the pictures you can scan but you have to do it yourself. Otherwise it came out great I had them put two big plasmas up it was about 20 minutes long and they showed it during dinner. i did jimmy's family all old pictures then my family all old pics then jimmys friends old and new pics then mine old and new pics then i did pics of jimmy and i from the time we started dated until recent then new pics of us with each others family's and firends with music i selcted.. It was so great and everyone realy enjoyed it

Singer JOEY SANTARPIA-- AAA++++++- this was my best friends fiace. My dad loves Bruce springstein and he sounds exactly like him he played the guitar and had the harmonica over his head and did an acoustic version of brorn to run. IT WAS UNBELIVEVABLE So great t made me and my dad cry. I was hystercal actually becasue he was so good. I had this done right after the photo montage towards the end of dinner-- it was nice giving people entertainment during dinner and you dont loose dance time



Rolling Pin Bakery- AA++ My cake was gorgeous and It came with the hall's package so i did not have to pay extra- i told them I wanted Brown Butter cream and blue iris's scattered on a 3 tier round cake. It came out gorgeous and defin looked like i paid extra. The inside was chocolate cake with canoli and fresh strawberry's..everyone commented to me that they loved it because it was not teh normal wedding cake. and it was soooooo good

Ice Sculpture- AA++ I did a lot of monograms so the hall said no problem when i asked them to do a 'W' our last initial opposed to the standard..it really looked nice and suprisingly i got a lot of complements on it. I did not even think anyone would notice

- Mongram cake topper- supper cheap i think like 15.00 and it looked so nice

--Ring Bearer Pillow- I wanted white with chocolate brown ribbon- i found a vendor that made pretty pillows and asked her to custom make it with brown ribbon- it came it was beautiful and it was $20.00..in bridal stores it was like 40.00

--Flower girl Poms- Balsacircle.com- found on ebay they were rose hearts i ordered red (my original colors) and just spray painted brown they were so cute - 2 for 25.00 cant beat that.. the florist will charge you for a circle ( and you want to get silk for the girls because real flowers are too heavy) 60.00 each

--Flower Girl Basket- I got this for Jr.Bridesmaid with the blue dress it was chocolate brown and it was so cute. I paid 25.00 wy cheaper than anywhere else.

--Will you be my flower girl cards- found themon here and again so cute and a nice way to ask-- 5.00 each

-- Birdcage envelope holder- 16.00 at walmart in the bridal aisle -baby blue ribbon- 2.00 . I spary painted teh cage chocolate brown and just tied a baby blue ribbon it looked so pretty

--Coloring Books for the kids at the wedding- Someone on here emailed it to me (thx again) i have the template if anyone needs it. I just stapled them single whole punched and put brown ribbon with baby blue polka dots tied into a bow in the corner- then i got these tiny baby blue tule bags (like teh wine bags) they have them at patchogue fantasyland and put cryains in them and ties it with brown ribbon also

--Slipper baskets- Slippers from my sisterusa.com real cheap .. thansk to LIW found them. I went to patchogue floral and got the wine tule baks in chocolate brown and baby blue. Wrapped the slippers in baby blue tissue paper stuck them in brown bags.. and then others in choclate brown tissue paper andut in blue bags

I got 3 baskets from michales and got the felt numbers and made tags out of foam paper brown brder double sided tape blue tag and put the felt numbers on and hung with brown ribbon

DEFIN GET THE SLIPPeRS-- SUCH A BIG HIT EVERYONE LOVED THEM AND I HAD NONE LEFT I WISH I GOT MORE- I DID NOT THINK THAT MANY PEOPLE WOULD USE THEM .. BUT THEY DID

I created the names printed it up on power point and put in a frame from wal - mart and had it placed at the bar. I named my husbad's drink the james bond ( hence his name is james) and mine the sweet melissa tini

---Bathroom baskets- I got baby blue baskets with polka dots and tied brown ribbon on it. for the guys i put baby wipes, baby powder, visine, asprin, gum ,imodum, shout wiped, airborn to go packs, for the girls- tampons, pads, hair ties, asprin, gum, mints, shout wipes, airborn to go, rolaids.

Then i got two of those picture frame place card holders from patchogue floral ( they were gold) and just typed on the cmputer one for each basket take what you need love Jimmy & Melissa and had the maitre d put in each bathroom

-- Hotel guest baskets- i got the persnalized bag from foryourparty.com along with brown tissue paper. Then i went and got a big tning of the single tylenol packs, toothbrushes from Sams' club, along with gum, airborne to go, bottled water, candy and snacks.. put that in each bag with the eye masks, hand lotion, a candle, hair ties, and luggage tags.

Then i actually found these really cute picture frames that said home is whee your family is, some just said love, and others said travel from DOLLOAR DAZE and i bought a bunch for each hotel room and printed up itinerary's in there for the weekend ..since most of our family is from out of town. I got the pretty paper for the frames (in baby blue) from party hardy and had the hotel display that with the bags and the water in each room.




Thank You Next Day Brunch - Desmond's- In the Eastwind- AA++
Since everyone that stayed was our family we hosted a thank you brunch the next day at Desmond's in the hotel at the Inn at eastwind. It was for 30 people although a bit pricey the food was awesome and service great. Can you can't beat how convenient it was. Although my husband and I were exhausted,

Thank You Dinner at our House- mama Lombardis- AA++ We then had everyone over for dinner the next day and we were exhausted..but we just did a Pizza party to make it easy . The pizza was great and since eveyone was primamrily from florida they really appreciated finally tasting real PIZZA

HONEYMOON- HALF MOON - JAMAICA- MONTEGO BAY AA++++++ If you want a honeymoon that is TOP NOTCH and the flight is 3 .5 hours and the price is really great......GO HERE...THIS PLACE WAS AMAZINg. It was great because they do an all inclusive which includes alcohol and room service. They have 10 restaurants, its on 400 acres, its a boutique hotel which is what i always like to stay in..you getter better attention. We rented a golf cart the whole week..my finace actually cut his foot and they ended up giving us the cart free because they said since he cut his foot (which was totally not their fault ) he would have needed transportaton anyway.. meanwhile it was like a scrape.. lol.THE FOOD WAS UNBELIVEABLE. they have so much to do you don't get bored or need to go anywhere. They have tennis, championship golf course, their own private dolphins ( highly suggest you do that) their own horse stable, equestrien center. I went swimming in 20 feet of water with the horses it was incredible. ping pong, crouquet, cricket ect. You can get lessons in anything. the spa was great but in spring 2007 they will open a new spa which they are dumping 3mil into. Paddle, boats kyaks and snorkeling is included when you stay there. I mean you name it they have it.. Polo lessons... they also have jet skis, scuba diving.

You can also rent a villa which comes with your own butler, chef and maid.. there to serve you 24 hours a day.. and you get a gold cart free with the villa.

I can not say enough about this place, it was paradise.. So gorgeous. Actually the royal family's all over stay there for a month every winter.

For those of you that have to do a honeymoon with kids.( i know my brother had to). they have a program for them.. $35.00 a day and they keep them busy from 9 - 5pm and it includes lunch and snack.. they do everything with them..dance lessons, basketball.. they go horseback riding, kiss the dolphons, talent shows, learn to bake, yoga, all kinds of activities i believe its ages 3 - 12 though

The weather there is gorgeous. The rooms unbelieveable i stayed in a suite on the beach.. I woke up to an ocean view every day.. The balcony was huge, we had a private beach to use if we wanted for our suite. They have so many pools, with swim up bars.

The service unbelieveable. Everyone is no nice and happy to help you.

RSVP Tuxedo's- AA++ They were perfect and I had a lot of out of town people getting tuxes everything was perfect

Bridesmaid Gifts- M Avery Designs AA++++ I knew i wanted to custom make evenng bags to match the dress but also be differant for my girls and I found this lady maverydesigns.com and she was awesome. I picked the fabric and colors.. got them each a differant color with a brown ribbon tie to match the dresses. sent her a swatch and she matched it perfectly

Designhergals.com - AA+++ I found this site i knew i wanted to give them custom thank you cards. On this site you make the cards look like you grks you pick hair color, style lengeth eye color, skin color ect anfthen you get to pick outfits and add fun stuff. Like one friend is a teacher to i had her holding an apple. My other friend always has coffee so i had her holding acoffee cup nd her dog.. So freaking curte.. Oh and they have pregnant girls to. Ihad my mom go on this site and make one look like me with a white dress for my bridal shower invites,

So I printed the note cards and with double sided tape stuck them on teh outside of a brown bag and put the gift wrapped in tissue paper for each girl

Nordstrom's- AA++ The groomsmen gifts i got them blue ties with brown in them.. they only had 3 their but the sales men called everystore in america (since they only sell 3 to a store) and got me 10 had them shipped to me no extra cost.

I wrapped the tie boxes in Blue tule (from patchogue floral a big spool for 8.00) and tied brown ribbon on them

Thingsremembered.com- AA++ - For our dad's gift we got personalized pocket watches for them and on the inside put a picture of each of us with them when we were younger. I engraved mine to my dad Love always your sweet pea because that is what he has called me since i was a baby they really loved it

Netaya.com- AA++ For our mother's I customized cameo necklaces.. one a mother holding a daugter the other mother and son.. you pick up if you want diamonds around it or just plain. i picked the diamons around it..and had the back of cameo inscribed.. Jimmy's mom always called him her baby bo-- so i put love always your baby boy and on my moms love always your little girl .. they were defin reasonably priced and they LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM

storeofknowledge.com AA++ for my ring bearers they ar e 3 and 6 and love dinasaurs so i got them these escavating kits to dig for fossils and build a dinosaur with books they went crazy over them.

Atillas Flea Market- AA++ Flower girls i got them baby bracelets with their names inscribed (20.00 for 2) and I also got them their dress they were twins so it was too much to ask the mom to buy them.

I also got my unity candle holder here- 20.00 for one.. i think i left it at the church have no clue where it is. so i am glad i went with teh cheaper holder

for the candles (purchased at patchogue fantisyland) i used double sided tape and put brown ribbon around each candle

Patchogue Fantsyland-AA+ I got a lot of DYI stuff there and also the little half gloves for the flower girls they are 1 so they had ones that fit for 20.00 total

Shutterfly.com- AA++- I made my will you be my maid of honour and Bridesmaid cards on here with an old picture and recent picture side by side of me and each girl . and then customized a note to each person on the inside asking them and mailed them out.

I also did my bachelorette thank you cards on this i put one group picture of all of us in Fire Island and customized each and sent to all the girls that attended.

I LOVE SHUTTERFLY- its the same as buying a card at Hallmark except its personalized with a pic
