Mrs Shamma is back with her wedding review from her wedding yesterday 8/3/2002!!

Hello to all my fellow brides and brides to be I am extemely happy to be reporting back. My husband and I are leaving for our HM tomorrow....YIPEEE!!! yes I can officially say it now and legaglly

Now for the review: The day was absolutley beautiful, the weather was gawjus and everything was perfect not one single hitch!!!!!

My makeup artist: Jennifer from Fairytale Makeovers Fairytale Makeover arrived at my home at 6:30 am. She was my wakeup call. She set up so quickly and did not waste any time making me look absolutley fab for my day. She used the airbrush makeup on me and it did not move and I did not have to touch up not once. The only thing I touched up was my lipstick. Anyone that has hired her rest assured you will love her and the job that she does!! Everyone kept commenting on how clean and beautiful my makeup was.






Photo/Video : Imagine Studios they are the best!! Lia and her assnt arrived at 8:00 am sharp and immdiately started doing their thing. She is so creative I know we will have great pictures. Her and her husband works flawlessly together!!! They made us so at ease, they are so unobtrusive. The only time they were in our faces was when we did the formals, apart from that we were, free to party without interruptions!! We went to Westbury Gardens for our formals, what an absolutely beautiful garden

Limo: Royalty limos arrived before they were supposed to and treated us wonderfully. Aisle runner, champagne, everything. At the end of the night they sent a Mecedes Benz stretch limo for my husband and myself to take us to our hotel. They knew how to get us everywhere, they were prompt and very friendly and very helpful. Not once did we feel rushed.

Flowers: Flower Den in Brooklyn, I cried when Gigi my florist delivered my flowers. Talk about an absolutley beautiful job!! when you see bo-ks in words its does nothing for you, when you see the work in person it does something to you. She did the high centerpieces for us and they were absolutely lovely, all the candles the petals sprinkled, the cake, everything was lovely.

For my cocktail hour we had the Steel Pan Group CM Productions they were awesome!! people kept saying this is so nice. We enjoyed them playing. They played everything, from classical, to hip hop, r&B, jazz, everything, they were very entertaining.

Now for the grand finale the hall: What more can I say about a hall as wonderful as the Chateau Briand. They did everything above and beyond to make our day smooth. We were pleased with everything. The food, the service, the people. Any specific questions you have about them please ask. I was in the Normandy and the Europa rooms.

Well ladies that is all I have, when we return from our HM I am sure I will have pictures to share.

I am the new Mrs Shamma

Now that I look back on my review I see that I forgot a lot of great vendors.

Hubby's ring, which he made me return so many times. This company I would use again withouth a doubt, they gladly handled all returns with pleasure even after we had each ring engraved.

E Wedding Bands

He finally decided on this one, I got him a lovely titanium band.

I ordered my veil and headpiece from a lovely lady in California named Laura, she was awesome to work with, I sent her the pix of my dress and the description and she called me on my job to discuss everything, she was so patient and wonderful to work with. I loved the ladies at RK Bridal and how they treated me, my dress was a coture gown from the Jasmine line. I truly enjoyed wearing my dress. All the alterations and how I was treated was great, I just wished they were a little more flexible with the schedules.

One word of advice to all those with weddings coming up, do not let anything bother you. it is not worth it. Enjoy your day to the fullest, b/c it goes by quickly. Thanks everyone for your congratulatory notes.
