hello ladies!!! here is my review of my 5/16/09 wedding!!!!


Let's start with the first vendor -

i'm going to do photography first b/c thats whose pictures (99%) of them are..

Lovemorephoto - A+++++

Arek from love more photo did an AMAZING job. i could not have been happier with every single shot he took. I love traditional pictures, but i also love photojournalistic pics. enjoy all the pics below. i really cannot say enough about htem. they were professional and i didn't even notice they were there half the time. i got my pictures back SOOO quickly and i literally LOVE EVERY SINGLE SHOT. it makes it VERY hard to pick for the albums!!!

invites -
Even*Star*Paperie - A++

i didn't want a traditional invite and she created these. i LOVED them and they were excatly what we wanted. the bottom tore off and was the response card (like a postcard) and it all folded up. I was still able to do an inner envelope and put a pretty seal on the invite. LOVED THEM!



Dresses:
Bridesmaid - A+
Bill Levkoff

i fell in love with this dress about 3 days into looking for dresses. i loved the color combinations and all the girls looked AMAZING in them. We got them at paradise bridal and the girls got a discount b/c i ordered my dress there. I LOVED them!!!



flower girl - A +

i didn't want a traditional white/ivory FG dress. so i found this one online. it was only about $60 and she looked ADORABLE!!!




Mom's Dresses:
Macy's - A+

LOVED this dress for my mom and it wasn't expensive and didn't need altering!!





Lord and Taylor - A+
This was my stepmom's dress. it orginally had a big collar that she took off and made into a purse! it looked beautiful!!!



Nordstrom - A+

we found this dress for my MIL about 3 weeks before the wedding!!! it came just in time and she looked amazing!!!



my suggestion to anyone looking for MOB/MOG dresses is to look in department stores first! all of the dresses were under $200! and they all looked amazing!!!!!

Tuxedos -
Paradise Bridal and Tuxedos - look A+++ service B

I wanted to use their brown tuxedos from the first time i saw them. but i was a little hesitant b/c my sister had a lot of problems with them for her wedding. but they insisted that they would do everything to make things go smoothly. in the end, i was a little bothered by their service, but everyone got their tuxedos. i don't think that some of the guys' fit but its beyond that!!




MY DRESS!!!!
Paradise Bridal - A+++++

My dress was a maggie sottero. i had been in LOVE with this dress since before i got engaged. There was only one shop that carried it. so i hunted it down and i fell in LOVE. i ordered it from Paradise bridal b/c i really LOVED patti and felt so confident in her opinions. they handled everything amazingly. my alterations were perfect and i LOVED LOVED LOVED my bustle. i cannot say enough about how much i love my dress!!










Hair -
Hair Scultping by Renee - A+++

my sister used Renee and we absolutely LOVED HER!!! so of course she did my hair! i LOVED IT! We did a couple of trials to make sure my hair was exactly how I wanted. We had a lot of fun with her getting ready and she did a beautiful job!





Makeup -
Make up by Meadow - A+++

I LOVED meadow. she was at my sister's wedding as an extra makeup artist and I loved what she did!!! i didn't feel like i had too much on. it felt very natural and she is just a sweetheart!!! I don't have any 100% clear shots of my make up but here's the best i could do!





Flowers
Hitherbrook nursery - A-

i always wanted to use tulips. they are one of my favorite flowers and Dh and i love them. i wanted cream colored ones b/c i didn't want straight white so this looked beautiful!

i LOVED all the flowers. LOVED THEM! but i was disappointed that the flower girls pomander (spelling?) ball completely fell apart. other than that i loved it all!







Veil and hair comb -
Barron's - A+++

They made my viel in NO TIME AT ALL and it was AMAZINGLY inexpensive. i didn't want to have a big pouf on top of my head when i pulled the blusher back and they made it perfectly. I LOVED IT!

i didn't want to wear a tiara or anything like it. its just so not me. because my hair was swept to the side i thought a nice comb would look pretty. i bought it the week before the wedding and it looked amazing. they sold it to me right out of the case!







Limos -
Serenity Limousine - A+

I love Eddie! my sister used them, i used them, now my dad uses them, my other sister uses them! they are gREAT!!! We had one issue about the party bus but it was explained after the fact and was no big deal. I would have preferred someone told me the day of but, grand scheme of things.. no big deal!!! they were all great!



i don't really have any pics of the limo's just this one and a few rando's of me in front of hte rolls! we all know what limo's look like ladies!!

DJ -
Feel The Vibe Entertainment - A+++

Izzy did an amazing job! everyone was dancing THE ENTIRE NIGHT! no joke! there was not one song that came on that i didn't like!! it was awesome! my only complaint is that they didn't play the right song during hte cake. but whatever!!

i have so many pics of people dancing, but none uploaded for the review!! HAHA will have to add that later!!

Centerpieces - DIY
I used paper lanterns that i bought off a wedding website and used brown table runners that i got for like $3 a piece!! AH!!! i wish the candles were a little brighter b/c when it was still light out you couldn't really see the 'glow' . all in all it was nice

DOC -
Dazzling Affairs - A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

There are NO words to describe Francesca. She was at my sister's wedding and i thought my sister was a NUTCASE for having someone do this. i literally booked her 4 days after my sister's wedding. i think this is AMAZING and an awesome way to let someone handle everything that would normally come right to you during the wedding. i also appreciate it b/c i was able to be the bride and Dh was able to be the groom and just enjoy the wedding!!! Francesca is really just incredible. she has great people working with her and i knew that everything was taken care of. The comfort of knowing she was there to help with everything made our day soooo smooth! the day is such a whirlwind that you would probably loose your head if it weren't attached. Francesca keeps you focused on YOUR DAY and what it is all about. i reccomend her to EVERYONE. even if its just because she made me look AMAZING in my corset dress!! HAHA!!! I LOVE HER!!!

Reception -
SLCC - A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Rich and Donna were absolutely amazing!!!! Dh and i didn't even look at any other place. we only went here and booked it! it was the right atmosphere and we loved it. the staff there was AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! anything i needed they were on top of, i would e-mail them a few times a week and never felt that i wasn't important to them!!!!! i LOVED everything about SLCC. the food was to DIE FOR. and the service was above and beyond!!! it was a beautiful backdrop for pictures and i couldn't have been happier!!!!





Cake -
Create-A-Cake A+

I literally have no recollection of how this cake tasted. i heard it was great and i thought it looked beautiful!!!











Card Box - made by my AMAZING sister (soinloverwe2)

it was beautiful! she surprised me with it at my shower!!!
