My 5/27/07 wedding review coming soon!

I didn't post much on here, but I got some great information about the Westbury Manor and a few other vendors (especially who NOT to use). I want my review to be as helpful as possible to future brides (especially since I didn't use many LIW vendors), so it'll take a little bit of time...but it's coming.

I will say off the bat that I never asked for a 'perfect' wedding day. I didn't dream about every aspect of my wedding since I was a young girl, and I never wanted to feel like Cinderella at the ball. It was exactly the warm, cozy, simple affair that I did want, and though my husband (!!!) and I put a lot of effort and love into the planning of this wedding, we never felt like the planning got away from us.

In the meantime, it was an excellent day--the weather was gorgeous, the food was amazing, everyone had a good time...and one of the Westbury Manor peacocks made a surprise appearance halfway through the ceremony...
