My 5/29/05 Inn at Eastwind and other vendors review...

I have to start by saying how lucky we were to have the most beautiful day. It was so funny, the day was perfect, our ceremony was at 4pm. It rained from
4:10, until we started our receiving line, then the sun came back out. How perfect!!

The Inn at Eastwind - A+ The food was amazing, the staff was so great. They treated us like royalty. We were in the Northampton room, so, our guests were able to go sit out on the patio during the cocktail hour. The rooms were gorgeous, and the bed was sooo comfortable! The bar stayed open for us and our guests to hang out until late, it was great. My only slight complaint is that I didn't feel the chocolate fountain was out long enough. They said it was out for 45 minutes, but it didn't seem like it.

Makeup - Jill Harth Cosmetics A+ - She was such a lifesaver!!!! I had an 'issue' with my original makeup artist that caused me to cancel, and Jill saved the day! She had a wedding that morning, but felt so bad for me in my extreme hysteria that she did mine right after doing the 1st wedding since 5am! I loved everything she did, the airbrushing was flawless, and I only touched up my lipstick all night. I never felt so beautiful! When 2 of my bridesmaids who were doing there own makeup decided to get it done by Jill, she squeezed them in and still managed to get us all done on time. She was a true professional and I was so lucky to find her.

Hair - A+++++ - My hairdresser David who has been doing my hair for years did me and my entire bridal party. I was so thrilled with my hair, it looked amazing! I will try to figure out how to post pictures and add them on soon!

Dress - Paradise Bridal - A - My dress was incredible! I have never seen anything like it, it was so different, ivory with gold beading, and I would never had tried it on if it wasn't for the salesgirl. There are 1 or 2 girls there during the day who are a little nasty and gave my bridesmaids a hard time making appointments. Other than that, they were great.

Florist - Flower Michele - A++ - I love John! He is so creative, generous, and his flowers were so fresh and were such high quality. I ended up adding a bunch of different things days before and he had no problems taking care of it. He decorated our cake as our gift, as well as our dais and cake table. John's the best!

Limos - M & V - C - They limos were beautiful, and they were resonably priced. I was a little pissed though, I booked a Rolls Royce, and they sold it and replaced it with a bentley which was no were near as nice on the inside as the rolls was. But they never told me! Laura my coordinator found out 2 days before when she was making all my calls checking up on my vendors. 2 of the drivers weren't too sure of the directions and the third backed into a tree infront of my house!!!

Photographer - Drew Anthony Photography - A++ - Hopefully this A+ will stay after I see my proofs! Drew and his photojournalist, Pedro were so great. They were everywhere, getting every shot at every view possible, without being in the way. They were so pleasant, joking around, making everyone feel comfortable. Love them!

Videographer - A - Patken - Our videographer was very sweet, she was quiet, was never in the way, and was a pleasure to work with.

DJ - Tommy's Tunes - A++ - I love Joe! He is the best MC!!! He got all of my guests dancing, has the greatest personality, and he's a Yankee fan, what's not to love??!?!

Tuxedos - VIP Formals - C - They were nasty to my groomsmen. 3 of the guys had to go back because there shirts were filthy, the pants were worn, they gave the wrong shoes to my brother, and they ended up giving one of my guys a white shirt... it was supposed to be ivory!!!!! So that was great, 6 groomsmen, 2 JR ushers, and a ringbearer, all in ivory except for 1...... rghhhhh.....

Day of Coordinator - LA Productions - A+++++++++
I had to save the best for last. I can't say enough about Laura and her assistant Jill. They were truly an asset and I would not have had the flawless day I had without them. From fixing my mom's and flowergirls dresses, to making me laugh when I was crying hysterically before walking down the isle without my father, and gave me a memory candle to light for him. She gave me my something borrowed, my sixpence, made personalized chocolate bars for my 3 flowergirls and ringbearer. I could go on forever, but I'll stop now! I love Laura and Jill, I was so lucky to have found them!

Congratulations!!! Sounds like you had a wonderful day. Thanks for the great review, I'm getting married at East Wind in 07, so it's good to here that you were very happy with them!!!

In one picture as you will see, she refers to as 'jaclight'. Its an amazing picture!! She was told by someone that her dad(who had passed) would be there to watch his daughter get married. I think the pictures speaks for itself!

Thank you everyone! I hope that you all have as much fun as i did!!! With all of the craziness and planning, I really took every second I could to step back, look around at my friends and family, and enjoy all that I could. It goes by so quickly, enjoy every second!!!!!
