my 8/20/05 Review

My wedding day was amazing. Everything went well and we enjoyed every minute of it
The best piece of advice I can offer is just enjoy and don't sweat the small stuff. If something doesnt go right the day of just move on and enjoy.

Andrea is an amazing person I never in my life have met somone who is so willing to help others. Andrea helped me so much in my wedding planning.Petal cones,programs, crypacks were absolutely amazing.

James and had our first date and got engaged their. Its a great restaurnat but small we had about 25 people and I think it may have been a little too much for them to handle at one time.

we dealt with Mary Ellen who is the mangaer there. She was nice until she made a mistake with my headpiece, eventually she fixed it but it took a lot of arguing. It is a nice place, the girls were helpful during my fittings.

Ok one word for John, wait there are too many to describe. Johm is a talent beyond words. my flowers were absolutely stunning. Flowers to me are the most important thing. They catch everyone's eye. I wanted amazing flowers and that is what i got.
My CP's were breathe taking. Everything was just beyond words.

We got the Hummer. They driver was nice, on time and very friendly. I should have gotten a bigger SUV. The AC wasnt so great. Other then that great company.

Dina is a sweet girl she did a great job. My makeup lasted all day. I looked very natural. She did all my girls, me and my mom.

April is a hair genius, she is a sweetheart and a true talent. all of our hair stayed in and most of the girls had their hair down. Everyone raved about the BP and my hair.

DJ
Frank Sinatra impersonator A
went over very well, sang during CH and throughout the night. Everyone loved him, Great touch!
Sensational Sounds
As a DJ Andy was great, everyone was up and dancing all night.
However he really didnt listen to James and I. We asked for him to do certain things he never did it. We paid for the cloud we never got it. Then we we got there the original DJ we requested supposedly had bad seafood the night before. They have very bad communication so therefore they do not get a good grade. I am waiting for the owner who was the Dj at my wedding to get back to me.

BM/MOB/MOG/ dresses
Phyliss Limmer-Gownfind she gets a BIG F
you get what you pay for in life. Bottom line. Her prices were great but her work and her professionalism leave a lot to be desired for. Every person other then the one BM that took her dress out of phyliss shop had a problem. She dyed my moms shoes the wrong color and ordered the wrong ones and argued with us. my mom had to take the only shoes that were left that would match. She didnt even try to reimburse my mother. she was a huge let down. FM me for futher details. This is just one of the things that went wrong.

Full size bottle of wine. When DH picked them he didnt check them. He brought them to the hall and when I checked them they were wrapped wrong. I called pindar and told them they wrapping job was terrible. They picked them up from the hall redid them and dropped them off the day of the wedding.
They made good on their mistake.

My wedding was great. I have no complaints about the food or the view. The Bridal attendant was a doll. She got mud stains out of my dress.
The BM's we had two that were really salesmen. It was very stressful to deal with them at times. Nice place, reasonably priced, with great food however the service is another issue.
One thing that I was always afraid of was space. The CH room bar sitaution was terrible and I had stressed that so many times to them, they assured me their would be 2 bars, there werent. I felt so bad. They didnt have enough waitservice. They did a good job, no doubt and people are raving about the food and my wedding. My advice to anyone that books there. Its a nice place, just get everything in writng even the stupidest thing and make sure you have no more then 150 people. If you do not use their vendors just make sure you can still have everything you want, we noticed by not using their vendors we may have been spited by them.

I hate to say that, but we had to find out everything on our own about the resort and then a few things we asked about that she really didntI do not think she researched for us and we didnt do and when we got to the resort we found out how nice they would have been.
