My August 20th wedding review!!

Ok, where do I begin...

HAMLET WILLOW CREEK GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB:
Just incredible! We booked it when it was a mound of dirt and had no worries - we knew it would be amazing, and it was. It is the epitome of class and simple elegance. Barbara is incredible, as she is so professional and dedicated to making her bride and groom happy. I insisted on having the entire coctail hour outside on the terrace, as I was not crazy about having it in the lobby. Barbara made certain it was arranged to my liking and it was fantastic! The food is amazing (we are still getting phone calls about the filet mignon, sea bass and the size of the shrimp!) and the service superb. Veronica, our bridal attendant, was extremely accomodating, but never overbearing. Everything about the Hamlet was A+!!!

WEDDING CINEMA (videogrpher): Pete is just great! For video and photog, we chose people based not only on the quality of their work, but also on their personality, as we knew they'd be with us all day. Pete shot fabulous footage but still managed to remain unobtrusive. He was with us all day/night, but not at all in our faces with bright lights, the way we've seen videogrpahers at other weddings. His work is fabulous, as is his price!

GARY LELI PHOTOGRAPHY: Where do I begin?! He and his assistants are just phenominal! Again, we chose Gary not only on the superb quality of his work, but also based on his amazing, calming personality. He even traveled to Brooklyn to take e-pics of us by the bridge. He took incredible pics and managed to remain unobtrusive. My fam and bp were so impressed by how quickly he took all of our photos. Choosing Gary was the best decision we could have made! Excellent!

GET I N TUNE PRODUCTIONS: I wasn't happy.

MACY'S BRIDAL SMITH HAVEN MALL: They lowered the price of my gown, as I'd seen it elswhere for less, so I was happy with that (but only that.) Alterations for a gown that practically fit were over $400 and it ripped during coctail hour, which put a damper on my wedding, as the dress was then too big on top.

LA PRODUCTIONS (invitations): Incredible! Laurie is just amazing! And inexpensive.

T&R LIMO: Mike was great to deal with and he threw in free airport service for our honeymoon. Peter, our driver, was so sweet!

SHOREHAM FLORIST: Unbelievable flowers! I was skeptical, as I'd heard some not so great things here on the chat site, but my flowers were just stunning and held up for days! So many guests were commenting on how beautiful the flowers were. Their prices are great and the black magic roses looked like pure velvet - just lovely! Ask for Denise.

AFTER HOURS SMITH HAVEN & WALT WHITMAN MALLS (tuxes): A few confusions with the orders, as I made some changes, but they pulled through. The tuxes were what we ordered and looked great.

MAKEUP, KELLY FROM MAC, SMITH HAVEN MALL: Incredible! Patient, sweet and so talented. She worked around our hairdresser and left plenty of time to ensure that my sister and I were happy with the reuslts, which we were! I felt that I had too much makeup on for my liking, but Kelly was right, it looks just fabulous and natural in my photos. She was great to have with me the morning of my wedding!

DANCE LESSONS WITH MICHELLE BOWLES (in Brooklyn): She got my husband to dance! Enough said! She choreographed our first dance in only 4 lessons. Great prices, too, and so much fun for us to do together. FM me for her #.

WEDDING RINGS, SALVATORE & CO: In NYC's diamond district. Liza is great to work with, and the quality of their diamonds is superb, as are their prices.

I was married at the hamlet willow creek the day before and mine was awesome as well. Congrats I'm glad to hear your wedding was as wonderful as mine. The Hamlet did a great job and I recieved many compliments on the foodas well. Most people told me that it was the best wedding they had been to. The Hamlet was fantastic. Congrats Beth
