So I would like to start by thanking all the brides to be and past brides and also the owner of this website. LIW has helped me so much in my wedding planning. I also would like to thank God because with all the drama everything worked out .

So for the review
The weather A+
I was so worried it was going to rain but there was not a cloud in the sky.

Hair A+
My hairdresser Karen was amazing. She opened the salon just for me at 5am the day of. She did my hair, 5 of my bridesmaids, my mother and my grandmother. Everyone loved their hair.




Make up by M*I*A Bri da l Lounge A-
M*I*A was great but a couple of girls sense that she had a bit of an attitude. i am guessing she was having a bad day because I heard she's not normally like that. I was a bit skeptical about my makeup because I am not a makeup girl but to this day I am still getting compliments and I looked amazing in my pics. She def knows what she's doing.




Wedding dress The bridal shop B

I was told that they had a seamstress on site before I purchased my dress. I ordered a beautiful custom christina wu dress (I added 3 ft to the train). They called to say the dress was in the day after I called and was rudely told by a man that my receipt says next week. Anyway, I go to pick up the dress and my dress comes out crushed in the shipping package. I am sure all dresses are shipped like that but take it out before you give it to the customer. I ordered the dress too small and lost weight so now the dress needed alterations. The lady tells me that she doesn't recommend her seamstress because she's expensive and that there's another lady who's really good that does it at her house. First off how do you know what I think is expensive and second I am not trusting a stranger with my dress in her house 2 weeks before my wedding.

The ladies in this store is amazing. They helped every girl find their dress and knew exactly what dress to put my mother in. They are so nice and helpful. I am still mad with myself for not getting my dress there but I did get the veil and tiara there. Everyone looked fabulous and everyone's dress price included alterations which was another plus. Even though I didn't get my dress there Louise still helped me put my gown on so that we could pick the perfect veil and tiara and she also referred me to a seamstress to have my alterations done.








David's Bridal central park ave, yonkers B+ Mother of Groom Dress, Flower Girl dresses
They looked great in their dresses but the attitudes of the workers is horrible. We basically helped ourselves.

Alterations for Bride's dress La Robe B+

She was able to do my alterations in 2 days. Not my fault. I went to her the week before and she insisted the dress was fine and that she only needed to do the bustle. Tried the dress back on and it was too big still. Anyway the reason for the B+ is because she told me that she gave me 5 bustles and the day of there were only 3. My train was really long so the 3 bustles weren't holding the dress up so people kept stepping on it all night.



The Dante Zeller A+
Groom, best man, groomsmen my dad's vest (my dad had this big thing about renting his tux ) and ring bearer all looked fabulous esp the Groom lol.









Royalty Limo A-
We booked a rolls royce, escalade and jaguar but changed the rolls to a bmw 745 at the last minute because FH and I were no longer going to see each other before. Anyway this woman I have never seen before tried to tell me that my final payment didn't include tax and she had to add it in I nearly lost my mind. Long story short my MOH spoke with the manager and she sorted everything out. The limos were all cleaned and all drivers were on time, well dressed and simply amazing. At the end of the night one of the bridesmaids had a little too much to drink and the limo drivers helped clean her up. I just changed the grade from an A+ TO A- because as I was doing the review I notice a chrysler 300 when I clearly ordered the jaguar. I mean its a nice car but not what I paid for. Once again if there is a problem the bride should be contacted.








Flowers : Jerome's Florist A-

Luois is very nice and willing to work with any budget. I switched from my original florist and saved a ton. I was just a bit upset because a lot of my girls flowers started to wilt and I ordered 3 dozen roses for my cake and they sent the roses along with hydrangeas. If there were any issues with the flowers I felt they should have called me to see if it was ok to mix the flowers. In this case it was fine but what if I hated hydrangeas? The centerpieces were perfect. Maybe the bouquets were in the car too long IDK






Eagle Horse and Carriage B+

The carriage and horses were perfect but the owner was weird. His shirt was stained and he kept harrassing me for his payment after he was told several times my DOC had it. That's the last thing I wanted as I am preparing for my big entrance and after as people were trying to get pictures. Nonetheless, the horse and carriage entrance was a big hit and people are still talking about it.












Ariana Studios A

The ladies who did the photo montage and photo zap shots were amazing. Everyone loved it. My guests were so impressed to see themselves.
The videographer looked young and he looked nervous which made me nervous. I hope he got a good video. I will rate accordingly when I see it. So the A is only for the photo zap shot and montage ladies. I didn't give an A+ because I haven't received the pics yet

Marie Stacks ceremony music A++++++
Marie is such a great person. I booked her 2 or 3 weeks before my wedding and she was able to accomodate me. She and her assistant played the vioon, keyboard and trumpet. The music was great and my guests enjoyed it.




DJ Energy Entertainment A+

We enjoyed working with Kirk. It took us a while to find a Dj who's familiar with caribbean music and also did light shows. Everone enjoyed themselves and we had a great time. He even took pictures of the day and sent them to me while I was on my honeymoon.









It was very emotional I chose I loved her first by Heartland
















Since my wedding was the same day as the West Indian day parade my dj brought the parade to my wedding. The photographers caught this shot of one of my groomsmen waving the Jamaican flag.













































Elite Affairs Lisa DOC A++++++++++++++++
Words can't express how grateful I am for having Lisa. Before my sister found her I was on the verge of having a nervous breakdown. I was frustrated and overwhelmed. Lisa was great. She helped me so much. I ordered a runner from Ebay and didn't like one of the letters she fixed it for me. She did the broom, the cake topper and even found sand for me at the last minute for the sand ceremony. She made sure eveything was great the day of and it was. My bridal party loved her and I heard a couple groomsmen were brokenhearted that she was off the market lol. Lisa was more like a friend than a DOC. I know she will be great at my sister's wedding. Excellent. Bravo









Sandcastle A++++++++++++++++++ wait I forgot to deduct 1 +. Aw forget it they were great the day of. Mohamed has been great from the start. He made sure I was happy no matter what. I was going to deduct one + bc The Bridal attendents wanted the bridal party to stay in the suite during the coctail hour so we didn't get to taste the chicken parm that my guests can't stop talking about. Partially my fault because I forgot it was there. Should have asked. Anyway Mohammed stood by my side the whole time. My guest are still amazed. Alot of people thought the cocktail hour was the dinner. My guests were so stuffed. My husband (have to get use to that) and I ordered our entrees and they brought it along with one of each of the other entrees. Then they brought seconds to us if we wanted. Thank God I got a corset back dress. I had to have my MOH loosen it. lol My cake was amazing. Big and pretty just as I asked. The champagne march was great. All in all everything was amazing and if you are debating about the chocolate fountain and ice cream bar just get it. I loved it. I also had the Venetian trays and love it.
