My July 1 Wedding-Villa Lombardi-ADA Studio-Oksana/Hair Genie-Sir Oliver and more....

July 1st was not only the best day of my life but the most perfect weather.

My dress/Bridesmaids Dresses:
Bridal Reflections in Massapequa (A+). From the day I ordered my dress to all my fittings, the staff there were so helpful and very sweet. Because I had 8 girls in my wedding they gave us 15% off the BM dresses.

Oksana/Hair Genie (A): I heard of them from LIweddings and seeing everyone’s pictures, I knew I had to get a trial from both of them. So I did and I booked them on the spot. They both are amazing at what they do and I loved how my hair and makeup came out. The only thing is that the day of the wedding I wish they would have given more time in doing everyone’s hair and make up. They got to my house at 10:30 and the photographer and videographer got to my house at 1:30 and I still didn’t have my makeup done or my mom’s makeup.

Signature Florists in Bellmore (A): I saw them at the Marriot Expo and I was immediately interested in them when seeing their sample book. I didn’t want to spend too much money on flowers and they promised me they would work with me with my budget. I met with them first and didn’t book them until I met with 6 other florists. Finally I decided to book with them because they gave me the best price and I just liked working with them. I was very happy with my flowers at the wedding – they were so beautiful and done exactly how I wanted them to be!

Royal Brass (A): Roger is the owner and is pretty cool guy. It was very easy to work w/ him and the music at the ceremony was magnificent. Everyone there really enjoyed the trumpets.

ADA Studios (photography.photojournalism,video) (A+): – My sister used them and so did my cousin and I loved how their pictures came out, so that is one of the reasons why we booked them. Not to mention that they gave me a ton of stuff in my package. The day of the wedding they got to my house early and did all the pictures I requested them to do. They were fun guys too. I had Big John and his assistant for the photographers. Darren for photojournalism and Tony Queens for Video. I loved how my proofs came out.

We Like to Party Entertainment: (A+): – One of the owners is a family friend and we use them for all our parties, so before I was even planning a wedding I knew that some day they would do my wedding. They are fun guys and play awesome music. The dance floor was always packed and they had the plasmas and percussionist that everyone loved.

Sir Oliver (A++). I picked Sir Oliver mostly by referrals from LIweddings. Everyone that used them had such good reviews about them. . I am so happy I used them because the limos were beautiful and the drivers were such nice guys. They came early, and always kept me calm. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Galleria Invitations, Favors & Tuxedos (A+) – Great company! They have everything from favors, to invitations and a wide selection of tuxedos. We’ve been using them for favors for the last few years and their things are beautiful. My favors were so nice and wrapped up so beautifully. We also got the guys tuxedos (Gino’s Fashion) there when they were running a special…for $99.99!

Villa Lombardi’s (A++++): What can I say; everything about Villa Lombardi’s is done to perfectionist! The place is gorgeous, the food is mouthwatering and the staff is extremely professional. I absolutely love this place and people are still complimenting on how big and delicious the cocktail hour was!

Honeymoon Travel Agent:
McCoy Travel. (A+++++++). It was by chance that I called McCoy Travel (which is based in Maui). DH and I were planning on booking our Hawaiian honeymoon ourselves, so I thought I was calling a hotel in Maui when a lady named Lori Evans answered the phone. She explained to me that I dialed the wrong number, but included to say she was a travel agent specialist. She asked if she could help, and I this point I was so tired of calling different hotels in Hawaii that I just told her what I was looking for and what my budget was. She called me back after two hours w/ the most amazing itinerary for less than what were budgeted for! We booked her on the spot and worked w/ her along the way with booking the other activities. She even sent us a gift when we arrived in Hawaii.

Hawaii: True paradise and the best food ever. We stayed at the Hyatt in Oahu and the Maui Prince Hotel in Maui. Both were beautiful places with wonderful staff and gorgeous beaches. I will never forget this honeymoon. It was romantic, fun and everything else you could imagine the most perfect honeymoon to be like.
