My June 18th review

Well, first and for most, the weather was amazing! I could have not asked for a better day.

Smithtown Landing Country Club: A-
For the year and a half we had to plan the staff was their to answer any and all questions/concerns. They were accommodating with working with our schedule. For example, the day we dropped our stuff off they were attentive and precise with everything. They wrote everything down they we wanted it set-up. The ceremony was performed outside and was exactly what we wanted. The food at the cocktail hour was wonderful. However, my husband and I didn't get a chance to taste it, but every one was raving about it. The only thing I was upset about was that our guests wanted to eat outside, but the tables were dirty. So everyone was inside overflowing every table they had set. The reception was a very intimate setting which made it feel very comfortable for everyone. The choices we had for dinner were stuffed flank steak with spinach, salmon with dill butter,and chicken Florentine. But they had no steak knives! How can a catering hall have no steak knives? So our guests had to cut the steak with a butter knife. I was mad about that as well. But all and all I would definitely go back to them for other occasions we may have in the future.

Flowers by Burton: A+++++
They did our flowers for the bridal party. They were amazing! The roses were all fresh and the colors so vibrant! They delivered on time and did exactly what we wanted. Matched the pictures we brought them to a T! I definitely recommend them for anyone who needs good quality flowers, especially roses.

M&F Florist: A
They did our centerpieces. We had just votive candles in the center of the table with pink rose petals scattered around them on the table. Very elegant looking and intimate. They also did the swag of flowers for the chuppah. They were included with the package from the reception hall.

Queens Bridal Center(Mineloa): A+++++++
They did our video and photos, also provided me with my limo. The photographer Paul was amazing. Didn't even know he was there! Only bothered us for certain pictures. Same with the videographer. I was very very pleased with their work and effort to make this day unforgettable.

In The Mix DJ:A++++++++++++
Well, they were just remarkable! They got everyone up on their feet and dancing. The music played was amazing! Everything we asked for they did and did it very well. I am going to use them definitely in our next occasion.

Creat-A-Cake: A++++
They did our wedding cake and it was GREAT! I also gave them a picture and they did it even better. The cake was very moist and it was a hit. We hardly had any to take home with us.

East Coast Limo: B
This is the limo company my husband used and they were a half hour late. They had to call him to see where he was and he was lost. I confirmed the date and time and directions with them Friday and they told me they had everything and I made sure they knew which street he was on and they said yes. So I know it isn't all his fault, but I just feel the driver should have called first instead of him calling looking for the truck.

Dante Zeller Tuxedos: A
They were great! Everything was perfect. They worked individually with every groomsmen on getting them their tuxedos at another location near where they each lived. They always had enough staff their to help everyone as other customers in their store.

Hampton Inn in Islanida: B-
This is where all of our OOT guests stayed including myself and my husband. They were suppose to have a breakfast for my guests the Sunday they were checking out and it never arrived. So I had all these guests waiting for food and it never showed. So I refused to pay for the breakfast, so they took it off my bill. The rooms itself were nice and the services were nice as well.

Travel Solutions by Marica:B
We used them for our honeymoon to St. Lucia. The trip itself was great. Very relaxing and the hotel we stayed at was great as well. However, the flight arrangements were not so good. I wish they would have been more detailed in explaining exactly the trip to the hotel from the airport. It was explained nothing near what we went through. The incoming flight we landed at the futherest airport and the trip the hotel was 2 hours! Then the flight back was from a closer airport, but a very small airport. The plane only held 30 people. I was told it was a normal sized airport, but obviously it wasn't. We spent the first day their traveling and same with our last day.

All and all I was satisfied with everyone we chose and would highly recommend most of them. When I get more pictures, I will post them here and on the 05 board.
