Here is my review

Since I used a lot of LIW vendors I am happy to write this review for you ladies. I will rate my vendors with my honest opinion of how I was treated that day and during my planning.

Alex and I had a great day, we enjoyed ourselves and will cherish the memories forever

Mother Nature A+
I thought it was going to be extremely hot on my day but the weather was very nice and comfortable

Swan Club A+ (LIW Vendor)
They did an a amazing job for my reception. After booking them I was unsure of the choice that I had made, because of some of posts that I read on the boards. I would honestly say that was on of the best choices I made, I loved the grounds and it was exactly what I was looking for in a hall. I was dealing with Mike, who I had worked with in the past many years ago when I was in high school. He assured me that he would give me the best reception ever and he did exactly that. Karen was my Maitre D that day. I met with her a few times before my day and she was always nice and clam when I became a bridezilla (since I worked in a catering hall before, I knew a lot of the behind the scene stuff) She gave me her honest opinion on the food choices that was good and the ones she thought I might not like because of my nationality. The Ceremony set up was beautiful, I was amazed when I saw it. If anyone has any further questions about the Swan Club please FM me.

Flowers BY Emil A (LIW vendor)
Carmine is a sweetheart, I knew I was going to book him after meeting with him the first time. I had a little trouble with my previous florist because of lack of customer service so I canceled my contract with them and booked with Carmine, I don’t regret a bit of it. As much as I love flowers I did not want to over do it with the flowers, I gave Carmine my budget and he worked around it, he actually gave me 2x more than the other vendor. If you have a budget and still want beautiful flowers go and see Carmine.

Jodilynn from Simplicity Plannings and Invitations A++ (LIW Vendor)
Before I start my review on Jodi, I would like to say to all the brides who think that they don’t need a Coordinator for the Day Of that they need to start making some phone calls to book one NOW. I always used to say I did not need to book a DOC because I know a lot of the wedding business because I have worked in Catering Halls and planned a lot of functions my self but I was wrong. Jodi made my planning process so easy, she was always on top of things, always gave me her honest opinion on things and always a sweetheart. The Day of a few little things happened, she was great keeping me clam even after I was going to CANCEL everything because I thought someone stole my E Ring. She helped me search the whole house hours before my ceremony, I was in tears, all she said was LENIE don’t worry about it we are going to find it... Well we found it, my S#$@$ Brother put it on his pinky and step outside to get balloons for my mom and no one knew about it. She also made my issues with one of my limo companies a lot easier to deal with that day. At the reception she was always there when I needed her, even when my dress popped after my husband step on the train when we were being introduce in the reception, Jodi was there in a split second to fix it most people did not even see what happened. My overall experience was wonderful with Jodi and I would recommend her anytime.


Never Stop Jammin Djs A++ (NYC Vendor)
I had a little problem finding the right DJ for my wedding because I was looking for a particular type of DJ. Because I was looking for Video and Picture Montage I wanted a DJ that had their on equipments for the montage (most Djs ask you to get the footage from your videographer for the video montage). After interviewing a few Djs Ron sold himself to me. He assured me that he would give me a great party and he did. My guests was on the dance fall all night. He played everything on my play list. Being that we are Haitian decent he played all the Haitian music that we asked him to play. Ron gave us a great party! We would recommend him to everyone.

Royal Brass trumpeters A (LIW Vendor)
This was a last minute decision, Rodger was very nice when I spoke to him on the phone. They added a little touch to my ceremony. I would definitely recommend.

White Wings of NY Doves A+ (LIW vendor)
Macy is a doll, she always answered my emails promptly when I had a question. She helped me out with the poem for the dove release. A few weeks before she called me to confirm on everything. The day of she was wonderful. She added a special touch to our day!

Sada Make Up and Hair A++
What can I say, she knows her job. After two make up trials with her I was certain that she was going to do a great job the day of. She was on time, everyone’s hair was done before 10 am. She gave me a wake up call that morning to tell she was on her way (thank God because I was still sleeping) I love my hair and my make up I did not want to wash my face that night. The make up lasted all night, the only thing I touch up was the lip. I would her recommend to all.

MadebyE Aisle Runner B
If you want a runner from her you need to contact her a least four months because she has a lot of runners to make. It was hard contacting her but the out come was wonderful. I loved my runner!




TopperswithGlitz.com Monogram Cake Topper A
I was reffered to her from another LIW bride who found her on the knot. I love my cake top she personalized it with the colors that I wanted. Quick response from her quick delivery.

Pastor Mike A++ (LIW Vendor)
He gave us a great ceremony, he came up with a beautiful ceremony to add our children in it. It was very touching. He was on time and he was a professional.

Leli Photography and Video (pending)
I booked Gary on the spot after seeing his work, he was very nice and he was a professional. The day of his staff was great and on time. I will give a more detail review on him after seeing my proofs and video.

Doris fashions my gown A+
After searching for my gown everywhere I really did not want to go far for my gown. I tried on my gown at RK bridal and took the style number to Doris Fashions and they ordered me a sample before I ordered my dress. A lot of people don’t really go there to order their gowns because they don’t have a lot of selections but they gave me one on one customer service and I was happy with them. They can order you any dress that you want even if they don’t have it in stock to show you.

Esin (alterations) A+++
Esin is a sweetheart, she works for Vera Wang. After buying my gown I felt that I want to add a little more to it, I brought over 3500 swarvoski crystal to add to my dress. She added all of them my hand to my own and added more to my veil. She also did my bustle to my gown she did a great job. FM me if you want her info for alterations.

Denise Leli (Head Piece) A+
I feel in love with my headpiece I wanted something with gold in it since my gown had gold trimming. When I met with her I saw my headpiece in Silver and she told me it can be done in Gold. She assured me that it was going to be beautiful. When I picked it up I feel in love. I splurge a little on my headpiece since it was 14kt gold plated.

Shoes Kenneth Cole A+
Great Customer Service fast delivery

Now I am going to get into the LIMOs. I booked with three different limo companies because I was not able to find all of my limos at the same place.

Amex A
my drop top Rolls Royce
I dealt with them in the past so, I knew to expect great service the day of.

A Class A+
They came one hour early, great service nice car nice driver.

Double Diamond (?) (LIW Vendor)
I really don’t know what to give this limo company, I am still upset of what happened the day of. Tommy apologized and even sent us a pick up and drop off for our honeymoon. In fairness I will not post what happened, if anyone need any info FM me

Programs, menus, cry packs (ME) A+
I gave myself an A+ because I never thought I would be able to do DIY projects, but without you ladies I would not be able to. THANKS

Audrey’s Bakery A++ (LIW Vendor)
Cake and Chocolate Fountain
Tom was wonderful and easy to deal with. I love the cake everyone raved about it. The Chocolate fountain was a great hit everyone love it.

Invitations, mints and favor wrapping (Jodilynn) A++
After searching hi and low for invitations I found my invitations, they were from Koza. I wanted something a little different from the others, I got compliments from everyone. Jodi also wrapped my ice cream scoops and put together my after dinner mints.

E bay A+++
I got so much from e bay I don’t know where to begin. I got my petticoat, ribbons, hair jewelry for my mom, labels for the water bottles that I had put in my guest cars. And soo much more that I can’t remember right now.

Maid to Order Bride maids gowns B+
The gowns came in on time sometimes the lady at the front desk had an attitude but my overall experience was good.

Tuxedo Mania B+
They were very wonderful to deal from the begining, we had no problems with them.

Alltype Calligraphy A+ LIW Vendor
I was running really late with my invitations, I brought in my invititions to her on a Monday, I got them on a Friday. She matched my font to my invitation exactly.

Always remember no matter how much you want things to go perfect something always go wrong, just enjoy your day with your husband and family and friends. The little mishaps that happened on my day NOW make me laugh and those are the things you will also cherish for years to come.
