My November 4, 2006 wedding at Watermill

A day that I have been planning for my whole life seemed to go by in one big blur. I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that the day would have gone by so quickly. Everything though was beyond anything that I could ever imagine.

Engagement Ring, Wedding bands, and gifts -- Ecolin Jewelry A+:
Everyone keeps complimenting me on everything that they have made for us. My engagement ring was specially made and couldn’t have been more beautiful. Our wedding bands are simple but more then I could have ever imagined. The owners were so great helping me find the gifts for the whole wedding party (even though I must have changed my mind a thousand times). I would highly recommend them to any and every one.

Wedding Dress – Kleinfeld A+:
I loved the first and only dress that I tried on. I absolutely loved the service that I received…the woman from start to finish couldn’t have been more professional and helpful. They listened to everything I asked and answered them quickly.

Bridesmaid Dresses and MOG Dress– Centereach Bridal B:
I loved the dresses that I ordered from them. The color was great and the samples showed the color to a tee. My problems were with the fact that I had to call and make sure that they placed the order for the dresses when everyone was fitted. Then when they arrived I had to find out from a bridesmaid that called that they were in. On top of that the big issue was that they forgot to order my mother-in-laws dress in the appropriate size. They corrected the problem but the dress wasn’t ready until the week of the wedding and they didn’t seem to be bothered by this. At on point she was told that maybe she should get a back up dress just incase.

Flowers – James Cress Florist A+:
The flowers were beautiful and exactly what I had wanted. The centerpieces were elegant but allowed the guest to talk over them and interact. They took care of everything for me including making sure that my cake topper (which was my parents) made it to the hall and in one piece. I got so many compliments on the arrangements and everyone made sure to take flowers home.

Photography/Video – Proline A+:
I absolutely have loved the services that I have received from Proline. The engagement photos were done quickly and in such a relaxed atmosphere. The day of the crew that came to was so easy to deal with. Everyone said that they felt as if they were so unobtrusive and everyone was able to relax and have a good time. My proofs and video were great and everyone that saw them thought they were beautiful.

Favors Bottle Stopper – Ebay:
The favors came in from the vendor in great shape and early. Everyone loved them and thought that they were useful.

Reception Hall – Watermill Caterer A++++:
What can’t I say about the Watermill? They were beyond my wildest dreams. Every staff member at the watermill was great to deal with and always called back quickly. Jimmy, Brian, Bob, Dottie, and everyone throughout the night were great and everything we needed was done before we turned around. Jimmy and Brian were great through the planning process. We got so many compliments about all the stuff that was special to the watermill. I can honestly say that I truly got my money worth on every aspect.

Random Small Things (Calligraphy and Place cards) – Laura from La Production A+:
Laura was a lifesaver and there whenever I needed her. She had the answers to everything no matter what it had to deal with. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her.

Hair – Symmetry Chameleon A+:
Once again I can’t help but rave about this vendor. Everyone there was great and more then helpful. They made sure to have plenty of hairstylists available for the morning. With a wedding party of 14 girls including 7 kids ranging from age 4-11 the place was great and didn’t mind them all running around. It defiantly came in handy that I came prepared with coloring books, crayons, and hot chocolate.

Nails – Pro Nails A+:
They were great about all the children also. It went very well getting all the girls nails done through afternoon. No one had any smudges noted which for the kids is a good thing.

Limos – Royalty A+:
The guys were beyond great. I couldn’t get over how helpful and willing to drive anywhere for photos they were. The limos were so clean and the drivers were dressed to a tee. The cars that picked us up after the reception and for the airport were clean and the driver were very social.

DJ – Tommy Tunes A+:
I loved everything that Joey did. I loved that with little to no direction he had everyone up and dancing all night long. The music was great and had everyone all different age groups up dancing at the same time. Everyone loved the props and everything that they had done.

Mother of the bride gown – Sugar Plum A+:
This was a great experience especially when I thought it was going to be a horrible experience. My mom so dreaded it because she has such a hard time finding dresses that fit her and that she liked. The woman at Sugar Plum listened to what she wanted and brought her exactly what she liked. She bought a dress that day and had to have no alterations done to it.

Tuxes – After hours B:
They had all the colors that I wanted for the vest and had locations were all my out of town groomsman. Other then when people went to pick up the tuxes they were wrong sizes and had two sets of jewelry. The guys said that the shoes were horrible and cheaply made.

Makeup – Family friend A++++:
I got so many compliments from everyone on my makeup since I normally don’t wear much. I loved the way it looked and that it was done so simply and elegantly.

Priest – Father Frank Pizzeralli:
What can I say about Father Frank? He was great as always. I have always loved how he has done ceremonies and my wedding was no different. He is truly a great person and makes every couple feel as if they are beyond the most important person in the world.
