Review of the my wedding!
Girls here is my review of my wedding.. I had an excellent time and was very pleased with everything that day.. i didn't sweat the small stuff and it shows that i was really happy!!
This review is my opinion and how I feel..Hope you enjoy this review and may it help those bride to be's out there...

We had our rehearsal dinner at Dave & Busters in the SOURCE mall in Westbury.. We had our own private room with a huge screen tv where we played a short but sweet video showing us in the stages of our lives.. everyone loved it, they loved the food (the blackened chicken pasta was amazing!! plus the junior's cheesecake for desert courtesy of one of our groomsmen) and they especially loved the OOT boxes.. thanks to all the girls for the idea.. it was such a hit!! people have never seen anything like it!! Here's a photo of one of them...



Friday, April 28
Weather - perfect 10!!
It was amazing.. i woke up to a cloudless blue sky.. i felt soo lucky that day.. from then on, i couldn't stop smiling.. and my 'glow' was apparent all day long haha
sachiko - hair and makeup for me and makeup for all BM - 10!!
sachiko is the most talented, sweetest person i know.. she was soo great in calming my nerves and very patient with everyone..she came 10 minutes early and was ready to go..she listened to eveyone's requests and she did an amazing job..
i highly recommend her to anyone i know.. she went above and beyond.. . here are some photos of my transformation




designs by rose - flowers 10!!
I was soo happy I chose designs by rose for my flowers.. i was ecstatic the day of especially when they dropped off all the bouquets.. When i booked them i was soo excited on what they would do for me.. they answered all my calls/email promptly during the whole process and they would do anything to give you what you envision for your day..
they were also very accomodating the whole time since i had some major flower issues and they totally saved me!
at one point i didn't know how many BM i was having, either 6 or 7 because my cousin wasn't sure if she can take off from school (she goes to school in France) i told Doris this in the begginning and when I completed my payment, she emailed me to confirm if i still only have 6 BM's.. by then I knew that i was having 7 and she totally accomodated my 1 new bouquet request and gave it to me for free!!! isn't that awesome that she remembered?!?!
also 1 week before the wedding, i still didn't know what i wanted to do with my hair.. then after talking to sachiko, i told her i think i wanted a flower and she said talk to your florist.. when i told rose and doris, they said it was no problem to get me a white orchid for my hair.. here are some pics.. it came out sooo great and lasted ALL night!!
i also didn't have a mailbox to hold all the envelopes.. doris and rose stepped in again and lent me their white mailbox..it was beautiful!!
when i first saw my bouquet, i was flabbergasted! I loved the pink heather and they incorporated it on my bouquet..and all my CP's.. all i can say is WOW.. the guests were fighting on who to take the CP's home haha.. they were truly gorgeous..
they decorated my cake with petals and it looked amazing.. the BM's bouquet was in our bridal table and put on vases which served as our CP..
they also did a HIGH CP for our place cards.. stunning... they just exceeded all my expections...
for all the girls who have booked them already, you are soo lucky!!

Roan Pastor is a personal friend who's also starting his photography business..
he took amazing shots and after seeing all the photos, he made me look amazing :)

Silverfox - Photographer to be seen..
I had Franco as the main photographer and John was the photojournalistic photog..
I will be picking up my hi res cd this week so I can give you a better review when I see them.. the only confusion i had was that the whole time we thought we had don as our photog.. we even met with the guy.. then the day of, this guy Frank shows up and started taking photos.. Anyway when i got to the church, lo and behold john was there and frank was gone ..As long as there were people taking shots, I was happy..

Mittermax - Video to be seen
Travis is cool.. he came really early and just shot the video.. he was very unobstrusive, didn't even know he was there the whole time.. can't wait to see the final product!

Alexis Limo 8
They came 10 minutes earlier than scheduled, got us to the church on time..
the 20 passenger hummer was brand new and everyone loved it..
my only complaint was that after the church ceremony, he only gave us 2 bottles of champagne.. for 20 people.. i could have drunk the WHOLE bottle myself

St. Brigid's Church.. Perfect
This church is beautiful, we didn't have to buy any flower arrangements as the decorations from easter was still up (with the pew candles)..
We did a traditional Filipino wedding and it was perfect!


Crest Hollow Country Club - Day of 8 Prior to wedding day - 4
When we got there, they ushered us to the bridal suite which was filled with all types of foods and drinks.. we hung out there for 10 minutes and then they ushered us to the gardens (by the columns) to take our photos.. they even brought out food for all of us..
my bridal attendant (forgot her name boo) was really really great.. she calmed me down, fixed my bustle, carried my train etc..
Our maitre'D was John.. he did a good job.. when there were some missing place cards, he was right then and there, ushering people and making sure they had seats..oh yes I was annoyed that some placecards where missing.. i know i gave it to them.. also, i had tent cards for my placecards and for some reason they placed it flat on the table.. not sure why they did this..but it looked fine.. i just wish they did it properly..
Other than that, everyone raved about the cocktail hour.. we had it in the emerald room.. the guests said the food was excellent and it looked soo classy..
Onto the reception..
The room looked really nice.. when we first booked, i wasn't too crazy about the chairs and the room.. i thought it was ok.. CHCC was not my first choice but with 300 guests, i didn't really have much of a choice.. but when we first went into the starlite ballroom, it looked so beautiful, it blew me away..the room looked gorgeous.. with my DIY menu, cd's, pill box, votive candles and the beautiful CP's. the room was perfect!! I really couldn't have asked for more.. the food was good.. the space was great and everyone had a great time.. everyone is still raving about the place.. WOW..
aside from the placecards issue, 3 months before the wedding, our BM quit and we got assigned to a new lady.. she was fine and she handled everything but 3 weeks before the wedding our new BM was on INDEFINITE sick leave!! so now i'm calling CHCC to speak to my new BM and CHCC told me that I don't have a specific one, I'll just have to talk to anyone available at that time.. I mean c'mon.. my wedding was in 3 weeks!!! While I spoke to various BM's, 1 particular person was really rude, i asked him how many high chairs they have available and he said 2 and i said for a big place you only have 2? i expected at least 10 or more than 2? and he was like 'well we're not in the business of high chairs?!?!' i couldn't believe he said that... i took a deep breath (good thing i take pilates!!!) and said please check if you have more than 2 because i have 5 children coming and hung up the phone.. i was soo frustrated but i didn't wanna argue with this guy.. anyway, i never spoke to him again and dealt with the other BM's there.. really the Maitre'D runs the show so I didn't really care the day of if the BM's where there or not..
All in all i was happy with the place




Band - 9 High Profile Band.
The band is owned by my husband's uncle.. they were great, they got everyone on the the dancefloor.. It was packed the whole night!

My dress - 9 by Adrienne's in the city
i loved my dress.. it was a marisa dress.. instead of an a line dress, i had them modify the A so it wasn't so wide on me since i'm very short.. and add a sash the color of my BM's dress and added a scallop neckline.. i thought i came out soo beautiful! Gina was soo great with all my 4 fittings..The only regret I have was I think I paid too much for the dress at the salon.. i think this dress is sold in a lot of places and prob cheaper.. but then again, Gina did a perfect job with the Modified A line.. so maybe it's not so bad.. in the grand scheme of things, what another $500?!?!



Shoes - Laundry by Shelli Segal 10!!! zappos.com
I love my shoes.. perfect and i can wear it again because it's silver..
and my friend put the blue crystals on the bottom of the heal.. it was soo cute and it was my something blue..


BM dresses - BCBG dresses from the BCBG outlet 9!
I think all my BM's looked soo pretty.. and we got the dresses for cheap in the outlet store..we took out the original flower belt and bought 2 inch wide dark brown ribbons and used that instead.. i thought it looked really nice!! the reason it's not a 10 is because i had to call a LOT of BCBG stores just to get these dresses.. all the stress i went thru represents the -1 :(




BM gifts - 10!! Monogrammed bags from pottery barn, mario badescu facial gift certificate and earrings..
Everyone loved it.. I made all the earrings so it was nice that I could give them something
that I made myself..


DIY things:
CD's.. wow these were hard.. but worth it.. place cards and table numbers, invitations, programs, menu cards, OOT boxes, pill boxes..
