LIW - Of course A++++++++ - This site is so unbelievably helpful, thanks so much for everything!

Hair – Julie Gallo (family friend who works at Madison Taylor in Garden City) A++++ – She did an awesome job, of course! I have extremely thick hair and not one piece fell out the entire day!!! Love it!!

Make up – A Soft Touch By Maria – B+ She did a beautiful job and when I did my trial I gave her a picture of what I wanted and she hit the nail on the head! She was expensive for Bride’s makeup (includes airbrushing) $200, but Bridesmaids were $85 with airbrushing so that isn’t too bad, plus she came to the house to do it so that increases the price a little bit. Either way I think she did a great job.

Headpiece/Veil – Barron’s (@Tri County) – A++++ Perfect! I had a fingertip cage veil with a detachable cathedral veil and they did a phenomenal job. I couldn’t give him the measurement for the cathedral veil (last minute decision) until 3 weeks before the wedding and he had it ready in one week! Awesome!

My Dress – Lillette’s, Maggie Sottero – A+ I love Lillette’s, I have bought many dresses from them and they have always done a great job. When the dress came in, it was 5 inches too short (I’m 6’1”) and they got it back out to the manufacturer and back in very quickly. Francesca did all my alterations and I absolutely love her! She did an amazing job, very few alterations needed to be done.

Bridesmaids Dresses – Wedding Center of Commack – F, if I can give them an F- I will HORRIBLE!!!!!! I know there have been numerous posts about this place, but I have to state again that this is the most unprofessional place of business I have encountered with all this planning. They measured one of my bridesmaids then when the dress came in too small they told her she gained weight, then when they measured her again she was the same measurements!!! They messed up and told her it was her fault! WHAT! They also told two of my bridesmaids that they should not eat any more donuts and basically said they were fat. The only reason I went there was because it was the only store on LI that had the bridesmaid dress I wanted them to get. I would not recommend them to anyone!

Tuxedos – Men’s Wearhouse – B- They were OK. I know Tuxes are rented so they are not going to fit everyone perfectly, but it was quite clear that they just did not even measure my brother correctly at all. His pants were too short, his shirt was too small, and even the shoes were the wrong size! So I went back in on Thurs and told them that we need a different size shirt and they said it would be there first thing Sat morning (Sat was the wedding day so I was already a little nervous) and my brother goes and then I get a phone call that they don’t have the shirt!!! They were arguing with me and said they don’t have the shirt. Then miraculously my brother came home with the right shirt, I don’t know what happened, but he got the damn shirt so that was all that mattered haha.

Invitations – The Paper Station (in Ct where I live now) A – They gave me some good advice and helped pick an elegant invitation for the best day of my life J

Flowers – Wick’s Florist in Baldwin – A+++++++ They gave us a very good price and the flowers were beautiful. They were very easy to work with, I changed my mind a few times and it was absolutely no problem. I dealt with Rosemary when I was picking out flowers and she was extremely helpful because I had no idea what I wanted, and in the pictures the flowers really pop so I think they did a great job.

Ultimate Class Limo – A+++ They were very accommodating, they offered us a town car to the airport for our honeymoon, and they were early getting to my house! That was nice, not having to worry if I was going to be late to my own wedding haha

Photographer/Videographer – A+ Dan Lauren Studios (Oceanside) – Jerry is awesome! He did all the pics I wanted and had some good ideas. He said he should have all the proofs for me in 2 weeks J I can’t really rate them because I just got married and don’t have anything yet but they were great people to work with and did a wonderful job.

DJs Unlimited – A+++++++ Loved them! The dance floor was packed the entire time, they played a mix of music and it was just great!

Leonard’s – A- I really love Leonard’s, but I was unhappy about a few things. I was told yesterday that one of the guests was told they couldn’t get the filet mignon because they ran out!!!!! It was only one person I guess, but still what if 15 more people wanted it and couldn’t get it, that’s not right. When we pulled up we had to wait on Northern Blvd in the limos while another Bride & Groom were getting out, which is perfectly fine, but it took 25 minutes!!!!!!!! Then the Leonard’s car director people were trying to tell the limo guy to drop us off around back!!! Are you kidding me, yea just go back all the way to the bottom floor then walk up to the Penthouse. uhh so I was annoyed but I got over that rather quickly, except that I didn’t take any pics by my Rolls Royce because they rushed me out of there. The Food was amazing and the Venetian hour was MORE THAN PERFECT!!!

WHAT somebody couldn't get the Filet - unreal. But like everyone says don't sweat the small stuff..
