My review November 12, 2006

Hi Girls,
I just figured I would post, since I got married about a month ago. First I want to say, We had the times of our lives. So many people said we wouldn't have a good time at our wedding, but I have to say, We did. We danced the whole night away. We tried to go to cocktail hour, but it was so overwhelming saying hi to everyone, we snuck back to the bridal suite for a little quiet time for just the two of us. I highly recommend every bride and groom doing this. It gave us a chance to be with each other and just talk to eachother that day. Ok, now on with the review.

COLONIAL FLOWERS in Bellmore... A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I honestly can't give them enough ++++++ They were amazing. I worked with Irene, and she was wonderful. She made me 3 cps and said if I wanted a million more, she would have made them for me. I gave her some pics of what I thought I liked, brought her a swatch of the girls dresses and my dress. We talked about what I liked, and on my wedding day, when I saw my flowers, they were exactly what I had envisioned. I have to say I believe they went above and beyond and actually care about what they are doing. I felt like a bride there, like they actually cared about me, instead of just another person wanting flowers for their wedding. Irene was amazing, and I recommend her and Colonial flowers to everyone getting married in the future.

DUET PHOTOGRAPHY
A+++++++++++
I went with Alberto and his team. He did our engagement pics with us too, and he was great. When we got our e-pics back, I was very pleased. I think they did an amazing job. On the day of the wedding, they came very professional, and before they even got into the house, they were shooting. Throughout the wedding, they were not in your face, but they definately got the job done. About a week before the wedding, we were asked to send in a photo request form. I must have put about 100 photos I would like to be taken on the list. They took every single one, and even ones I forgot, Alberto came up to me and reminded me of certain photos I wrote that I would like to have taken. The only reason I did not give them more +++++++ is because I did not get my proofs and video back yet. I am confident though that when I do, a couple more +++++ will be added to this review for Alberto and DUET.

TOMMY TUNES DJ AND MC
Ok, I have been to many weddings with Tommy Tunes, and had a ball at all of them. This is why we booked them. We didn't even shop around, because we shopped at our freinds weddings. The MC, I would definately give a B+. He was on the mic, getting people out on the dance floor, and doing a great job. The DJ and Tommy Tunes over all, I think I would give a B-/C. I did dance the whole night long. We had an amazing time. But I don't think they did anything that any other DJ couldn't do. He played music, however one of the songs I specifically requested was hot hot hot, and even said I wanted to get lays for that song. Well, we got the lays, but at a random time and no conga line.(I know, like thats so ashame) but when you request it, you want it. Anyway, I may have been looking more into it because It was our wedding and I was listening for certain things. As I said, they did a good job, but nothing anyone else couldn't do.

ROYALTY LIMO
A+
I am giving them an A+, because they had a gorgeous limo, and a gorgeous limo bus for us. The limos were in great working condition, they were spotless inside, and the drivers were very nice. It was pooring the day of my wedding, so they were great holding umbrellas over all our heads. I have known about 7 people who used them for their weddings and nobody had any problems. I highly recommend them for your future wedding .

WEATHER
B
Ok, you are probably asking why did weather get a B if it was raining, right? Well, it was raining, for most of the day. I was actually pretty upset that we would not get to come out of the church and have everyone blow bubbles at us. Well, As soon as we got married, and walked out to get back into the limo, the rain stopped just enough for us to have the bubbles. So, thanks weather for clearing up just a little. Also, I heard cloudy days make for clearer picutres.

JERICHO TERRACE
A++++++
I loved Jericho Terrace. When we first went there to look at it, we spoke with Robert. He was great. The next time we went was to sign the contract Robert wasn't there, but Chad was. We weren't thrilled with him, so we went back to Robert. They were great about working with us through everything. And when we didn't meet our minimum, they were great with negotiating. I also have a severe food allergy, and found Jericho Terrace is very accommodating with that. The day of my wedding, I had Al as my BM and Justin and Christina were my bridal attendants. They were there for everything. My bustle actually broke and they were right behind me before I asked, fixing it. The room I was in was called the penthouse room. It is upstairs, directly next to the dome room. It was beautiful!!! Before cocktail hour began, they provided with my guests with wine and cheese in a gorgeous venitian looking room. The price was amazingly reasonable. I found them to be about $30 cheaper a head than the other places we looked at and JT was a lot more elegant than the other places. I highly recommend this reception hall.

Well, I can say from personal experience that your wedding was one of the most beautiful I have ever attended!!! And it will always be so special to me b/c it was my first time as a bridesmaid!! I can't wait for your pics and video...hurry up and get your music and pics in b/c the video takes a while!

I am happy to hear everything went so well. I love hearing great reviews about Jericho Terrace. I also am friends with Irene from Colonial Florist. I am happy to hear such great reviews about her and Colonial. She is a great person in general.

Congrats on everything. I can't wait for you to post pics.
