Sandals Saint Lucia Halcyon A+++++++++++++

We had such an amazing time!!! Fromt he minute we got there everyone was so nice!!! Once word of advice....when you get to the airport and someones asks you 'sandlas' and tried to take your bags tell them no and you have no cash!!! They do not work for sandals they just want to bring your bags over to the sandals spot and then have their hand out! lol

we took to long ride from the big airport witch wasnt bad at all! it actually took a shorter ammount of time doing that than the layover in San Juan.

Our resort was great, we didnt go for a Suite because we really couldnt affor it and honestly ....we didnt see the point we were only in the room to sleep and ....uh..ya know lol so we got a basic room. It over looked one of the pools. Oh and just so you know...one of the resturaunts ( Bayside) is open air lol it has a roof but no windows....you will see birds flying around in there! They do not bother you while you are eating but the minute u get up the swoop in for your food lol i didn't mind it i was feeding them as well as the 3 cats that followed us around...the cats came into the resturaunt with us lol a mommy and 2 kittens!









The people there both guests and staff were so great to be around! Steve and I were the King and Queen of darts and i was also the queen of pool wooohoo!!!

we visited The Regency and it was nice...tho i felt we fit in at our resort better, Tho it was nice everything seemed so spread out and the people just didn't seem as nice IMO you say hello and they didnt say anything back, well 99% of them. So we didnt even bother going over to the Grande. We just had dinner with Jeanette
( jeanetteandsteve) and stayed at our resort the rest of the time.

We took a tour to the Pitons and the drive thru volcano....It was cool but i def expected more from the volcano tour. PS DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR IS YOU ARE EATING BEFORE YOU GO TO THE VOLCANO YOU WILL PROBOBLY PUKE LOL The sulfur smell was sooooooooooo bad lol and you really dont ' drive thru the volcano' you drive to it and see whats LEFT of the volcano. So we were a but mis lead. We went to a rainforrest during the tour as well adn saw the waterfall from Romacing the Stone it was pretty there were alot of pretty flowers!


































The resort itself is small but i like it cause you knew everyone there within a few days because you see them all day wether its eating or hanging out or doing the different games. They are all really laid back!

If you go here and you have a bartender named Aaron...you have to try his secret drink.....Ask him for an Island Passion he is the only one who makes it :) and every resort has their own drinks and some bartenders have their secret ones like AAron :)
Keep an eye our for Gerald AKA G-MAN he is awesome!!! On a night where there is music or kareoke you gotta ask him to do Thriller!! its HYSTERICAL!!!

We didn't wanna go home we enjoyed ourselves so much we almost booked to go back on our 1 year anniversary because they offered us 55% off our next stay if we put a deposit down, but we werent sure so if we decided to do it we will call them and see if they will honor it at a later date!
Anyone going to the HALCYON will be SOOOOOOOOO GLAD YOU DID!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad you had just as great a time as DH and I did at the Halcyon!

I notice that I know almost all the staff (from when DH and I were there) that are in your photos!

I see Herris!! haha, he took so many pics of us on one of our tours. funny guy.

We stayed at the Regency and loved it, we never got over to the Halcyon but heard the beach was great - glad you guys had a great time :) How great are St Lucians??!!!
