My September 19th Wedding Review!

This was the most wonderful day of my life!!!

Church- St. Thomas the Apostle 10
We had Monsignor Lisante. He was wonderful. He told us before the wedding to write down why we wanted to marry each other, but we weren’t a lot to show each other. He read them at the church!!! It was a little embarrassing, but we both said such wonderful things about each other. Everyone was crying! Everyone told us on the way out that it was the most emotional wedding they have ever been to. It was magical! It was truly the most wonderful hour of my life!

Dress- Peter Langner “Dior” 10
This dress was made so well. It was definitely the dress I was meant to wear! I absolutely loved it. I was so happy with how the seamstress did the alterations too. I don’t regret spending what we did on that dress!

Hair- Tarale 10
She did an awesome job. She came on time and finished on time. She is so talented. I loved my hair! It put me in a good mood for the rest of the day! Book her if she is available!

Make up- Wendy 10
Wendy did an amazing job! My makeup looked great! I only had to add lipstick all day. She works at city slickers salon in Baldwin. She works with Tarale often.

Flowers- Flower Michele 10
The flowers were perfect! Just what I wanted! John was fabulous. He is so talented, and so is his crew! Everything was fresh and beautiful and stayed gorgeous all day and all night long. He has a nice mustang too!

Reception- Carlyle on the Green 10
The Carlyle was perfect! I couldn’t ask for better service, better food or better décor! They were so wonderful! I felt like royalty there. My Bridal attendant was so helpful all day. My shoes were a little too big, so I wrapped white ribbons around my ankles and under my feet to keep them on all day (like ballet slippers). They were still a little loose, so she was constantly asking me if I was ok, and help me out with that!

The food was amazing! They gave us a taste of everything from the cocktail hour in the bridal suite for my DH and me. We were able to attend half of the cocktail hour because of pictures, and they wanted us to eat before we started to mingle with the guests. That was so nice!

During the reception they were right on top of things. They were constantly giving me a fresh glass of wine, and my DH a fresh martini. If we sat down, the bridal attendant was right there to help me into the chair with my dress. I felt like a princess! During dinner and dessert, my bridal attendant would make sure that we sat and enjoyed the meal.

They were wonderful, very nice and professional. They proofs came out great. I my only complaint was that they took pics in from of my house after my mom planted flowers all over the backyard, and not I have vinyl siding and a chimney in my shots. But they said the lighting was perfect there, so, oh well. Other than that I definitely can’t complain. The video came out great to. We still have to do the final video and albums.

Band- Body Heat 10
They were amazing as usual. My brother had them at there wedding 7 years ago. I booked them without even hearing them again seven years later. I am so glad I did. We added the extra horn player, which was a good idea. He added to the sound perfectly. If you liked to dance, you were up dancing!! They played everything we liked to hear. From the 40’s to top 40 of today, and they play it like the original artist. Definitely go to hear them if you are considering a band for your wedding. They have amazing voices. Very Motown.

PS. Mother Nature could not have been better! There was the hurricane the day before, but our day was gorgeous, cool and breezy! Actually, too cold, but I am not complaining!

Can you let me know which photographers you used from B rett M atthews? I am considering using them but I am having trouble narrowing down which photographer to use. Your pics are beautiful....also do you have a phone # for the girl who did your hair for the wedding?
