My Watermill wedding review 10-01....ADDED LINK TO Duet Proofs

Hi! I actually wasn't going to write a review b/c I don't post that much but I feel its only fair since I made 95% of my wedding decisions based on these reviews!

I will try to add some pics later but for now here's the review....

WEATHER......A+++
It was 70 and sunny....what else could I ask for. It's funny b/c when I watched the forecast that week it said Saturday will be a 'perfect day' and that it was :)....

INVITATIONS....Samantha from the Watermill...B+
First let me say that the invitations were absolutely gorgeous....some people even commented they were the most beautiful they had ever seen and they came in quickly. However,we realized after the fact that we spent alot more on invitations than we had to by using her. But that didn't bother us as much as her not telling us we had to put the invitations together ourselves....we never would have picked them....for the amount of money we spent they shouldn't have been nearly as much work....we called to let her know we were dissatisfied and she claims that she told us they needed to be put together. She completely redeemed herself later on in the process. We thought we needed a few more invites (only like 6) and the minimum we were able to order was 25!! No sooner had we placed the order that we realized we had exactly 6 left and she was able to refund us our money which she didn't think she could do!

FAVORS...LINDA'S LOVELIES...A
Linda was great....she always knew who I was when I called and exactly what I ordered. I ordered the cheese graters that were at last years WOTY....my DH and I fell in love w/ them. She was very reasonably priced and if I could go back in time I would have ordered my invitations through her. I actually also ordered my 'soon to be' and 'just married' tanks from her about a week before the wedding and they came in very quickly!

BURTONS.....A
My dress came out gorgeous and it was $200 cheaper than anywhere else.....they are definately not a fancy salon but you are getting the same thing you'd get anywhere else at a much better price. I still feel bad for that seamstress....my train was soooooo long :) and that french bustle....I loved it!

FLOWER MICHELLE.....A++++
People still can't believe they were able to take the centerpieces home! They were phenomenal....I stared in amazement at my centerpieces all night. The girls bouquets were gorgeous....Calla lillies are officially my favorite flower....My bouquet was HUGE....exactly what I wanted. Since they were wrapping the girls bouquets in the scraps from their alterations... I came up w/ the idea of wrapping my bouquet in my mother's wedding gown as my something old....they were so happy to do it and it was a really special way to have my mom there w/ me.

JACQUELINE NICOLE…..A+++++++++
She was unbelievable….everyone looked flawless! I have never seen myself look like that before! She is a true professional and I honestly felt that I looked my absolute best. She was also incredible helpful to me during the whole “getting ready” process. We all got airbrushed which is pretty phenomenal…..it makes you as perfect as you will ever look so go for it….:)

Sarah and Bridget Rock…..A+++++
Another awesome vendor…..I loved my hair!! I went for 2 different trials w/ Sarah and she was so patient and always upbeat and happy to try and help me discover the look I was going for. She really is great at what she does. Her and her sister were early and VERY FAST!!! Everyone's hair looked gorgeous all night.......Sarah is now my regular hairdresser...so I can tell u that she also does great color and cuts as well!!

Bridesmaid Dresses…..B+
They were very accomadating when me and my 6 girls came in to do dress shopping…..the dresses came in on time and they were always extremely pleasant. They ordered the dresses a little bit bigger than they should have and there were some alteration issues but all in all they were pretty great.

The Watermill…..A+++++
I could not have asked for a better wedding reception…..everyone had a blast…the food was excellent and when I look at pics I still can’t get over how beautiful the place is…absolutely perfect. Bob C. was our BM and he was phenomenal….we worked w/ him from beginning to end. We had a great feeling about him since he was always talking about his daughters weddings….I thought to myself, “this guys knows what is important to a bride and groom and not just b/c its his job. All in all people are still raving about the place, food etc….it was a great time.

Duet…..A+++
Haven’t gotten my proofs back yet but I have to say that I got more compliments on them than anything! Everyone keeps telling me I’m going to have the most amazing pics and so many!! They were so unobtrusive and we were done w/ pics long before cocktail hour and I am sure I will have a ton…can’t wait!

Tommy’s Tunes….A+++
All I can say is that the dance floor was packed all night and that’s all we could ask for… We were worried that the dancefloor in the Vanderbuilt room was going to be too big b/c it’s the biggest one that we’ve seen but it was packed all night! We were also worried that our guests would congregate around that bar on the side of the room and not dance but it was not an issue at all. They only missed one request (the electric slide for my mother in law) but I’m assuming they didn’t play it b/c the music they were playing had our guests up and going already and I think they use the line dances to get people up….not sure but it was an awesome party which was the most important thing to us.

Allstar Limo’s A++
Clean, on time , great drivers….what more could we ask for? They were awesome.

TRAVEL SOLUTIONS BY MARCIA……A+++
Angela was our travel agent and she did an awesome job….we went to Sandals in the Bahamas and had the best time. Tons of food, lots to do and incredible service. Angela always got back to us right away w/ any questions.

You looked stunning, and your dress is absolutely gorgeous!!!! I can say from personal experience that your wedding was definately one of the funnest(is that a word) weddings I have ever been to!!! We were on the dance floor the whole night. Your centerpeices were phenomenal, and your hair and make up were amazing!!!!!! I think you forgot one thing though.... as a bride, you were A++++++++++++++

I think my guys were Dan and Jason....not sure which did which :) But they were very 'not in your face' type of DJ's which was definately what I wanted.
