My Wedding review 2/18/07 Windows on the Lake. Updated link to pics

I know everyone has said this as the beginning of their review but, IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!

I felt like a Princess every moment of that day! Although it was chilly I was lucky enough to have no rain or snow on my wedding day!

I have checked into Long ISland Weddings almost every day for a year. I posted here and there, but reading all of the creative ladies ideas helped me sooooooo much!

Here goes:

OASIS HAIR DESIGN
Cecila has been my beautician for almost 10 years and she KNOWS my hair. It looked great and Lasted ALLLL day for only $60.

ANA FROM NATIONAL 1800ROSES FLORIST
although I got frightened about 4 months before the wedding because my florist DISAPPEARED! ANa pulled it off beautifully. Apparently her boss sold the business but she kept the wedding contracts. But no one told the Bride! Luckily I had her cell phone # so when I drove past the storefront and saw it empty and freaked....I called her and we met at her house for sample centerpiece. She works out of another florist but as a private contractor renting space. I got so many compliments she gets an A+

SILVERSTAR LIMOS
My new husband has been driving limos for this company on the weekends for about a year to help with wedding expenses. I didn't have any real issues with the company except the hummer limo I had to get out of did not have a step stool. But the owner couldn't have given us better rates.....It was practically free!

ADA PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO

ADA is the house photographer at Windows on the Lake. We had also seen them at a couple of bridal shows and loved their work. We requested Big John for our photographer. He was great...very professional. Our proofs were ready the day we came home from our honeymoon. I love all the proofs but, I feellike there were some pics he missed. There are none of our chocolate fountain or desert bar, and there arent many of the guests unless they were on the dance floor. The ones of us family and wedding party were amazing, but I guess i should have been more specific when he told me to let him know if there were any pictures we wanted. I didnt think it was necesary to tell him to take of guests and deserts. Havent seen video yet so I cant say how it is. We had Ted as or videographer. He was very professional and seem to capture everything...I hope.

FOURTH GENERATION DJ AND MC

Frankie was an awesome MC! He is also the house DJ at WIndows and the owner of the comoany. Dealing with him and his wife during the planning was awesome. They kept the crowd dancing all night. We opted for the monitors with baby pics as an introduction ans they took candid shots of guests all night. It was a great touch. I was very happy with them.

and finally....
WINDOWS ONT HE LAKE

I was a little nervous at first when i looked at Windows thinking it would be too far...but all of my family made it. The food was amazing. Our maitrede Walter was AMAZING. He was so attentive and accomodating. I truly felt like a princess all night. I got so many compliments from guests. The staff at Windows followed all of my instructions to a tee, and I had a long list of them. From the way i wanted the table set to slipper basket set up, candy buffet set up...u name it...perfect. The food was amazing and so was the dessert. I give them a A+++++++++

Yes ADA put my proofs there for me. I didnt expect it but apparently its something new they are doing. Now we have to pick the album pics and thank you.

You looked so beautiful!!!!!, I am very intrested in Windows on the Lake. How would you rate it? Also when you first booked WOTL who did you meed with? I am just trying to get some feed back on it. If you can do it over again, is there anything you would change?
