The engagement A+ Home Christmas Eve
Joe did such an amazing job surprising me on Christmas Eve. After showering I walked into our bedroom to find rose petals in the shape of a heart on our bed with candles all around. All I remember is him standing there with a huge grin on his face. I don’t even think he actually said any words.

My engagement ring was bought at Lundstrom before they closed. My wedding band was from Major Jewelers in the Smith haven Mall. Joe searched and searched for a black wedding band and finally found in online www.designbands.com The customer service people were very helpful and kind. Ordering was easy and it shipped very fast.



Bridal Shower A Snapper Inn Oakdale
My sister and Bridal Party did an amazing job. It was such a great day and the weather was beautiful for this perfect setting. I just wish we had a little more time, I felt a little rushed. The food was excellent and the staff was great. Our families were very generous and I had such a great time.










Bachelorette Party Fire Island A+
My girls did it again. We had such an awesome time. We used Sir Oliver Limos A++++ as always!! We ate dinner at the Mermaid, which was excellent. Then we just bar hopped the entire night and had a great time.
My girls helped make tanks for each to wear, I had my hot pink high heels and the only embarrassing thing I got was a bunch of penis lollipops….so I was set and ready to go.















Rehearsal Dinner A+ Harbor Crab Co. Patchogue
My Mother In Law works at the Harbor Crab and it’s our favorite happy hour spot. The staff there is incredible and they went above and beyond. They decorated the place with our beach theme with candles, sand and shells. All of the linens were our Knicks themed colors. The food by Chef James was delicious. Overall a great night!

Gifts: After buying my DO Jewelry, my FH surprised me with diamond earrings, my Dad surprised me with a necklace he had made for me using my mom’s engagement ring and my Grandmother surprised me with an antique diamond watch that my Grandfather had planned to give me. I bought my FH Knicks cufflinks from cufflinks.com He also bought the GM NY Gants super bowl cufflinks from there as well. For the BM we bought their DO Jewelry and gift cards to a spa.

Centerpieces DIY B My sis was a huge help. They were a lot of work. I knew I wanted candles and not flowers. Another thing I think I should have had someone else make for us.

Place Card table A+ I bought the trays at Pier One. Although the cards did not fit it 2 trays the staff at Land’s End made it work and it looked great.

This site was easy and inexpensive. I received a proof immediately. Shipping was quick. The only bump was that when my sis and I started putting them together we realized that the envelopes were too small. My sis called the company and they sent out new ones right away.



Now for the Big Day: I could not have asked for a better wedding day. Everything was perfect and there were no bumps along the road. I look back and wish I could do it all over again and try my best to relax and take it all in.

Weather A+++++ Thanks Mom for giving us the most beautiful weather for a wedding day that anyone could ask for. We definitely knew you were watching over us!


Hotel Courtyard Marriot Ronkonkoma A+
The rooms were clean and very nice. Our suite had a living room, kitchen bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and separate bedroom. Rooms were blocked for quests and they were pleased with the hotel.

Hair and Makeup A+ JMJ Hair Studio in Islip
I have been going to Joyce since I was 5 and she continues to do an amazing job. Our hair by Joyce and Maureen came out beautiful. We were also so pleased with our makeup by Courtney.



Flowers A Krist Florist Bohemia
Gail was very helpful with helping me pick out flowers, considering our colors were very unique. She was patient and flexible. All the ceremony flowers for the gazebo, bouquets and other flowers were beautiful. The only thing that was missing was my ring bearers boutonniere but I don’t think he would have like to wear it anyway.







Now for the Big Stuff

Dresses A The Bridal Suite in Centereach
The staff was kind and helpful. The seamstress was very good as well. The only negative thing was that for each of my appointments I waited a long time and they were late. Otherwise everything went smoothly.



Limos: Diamond Limo C My husband really wanted unique limos for the big day. He searched and found this company. We chose them sight unseen. The car was unique and nice however the breaks squeaked the whole way. Thank goodness it wasn’t a far ride. They weren’t the nicest over the phone as well.

Sir Oliver A+ We used them for the ride to the hotel after the reception. They are so helpful and nice. The car was clean, beautiful and the driver was polite and wonderful. I highly recommend them.

Father Bob A+++++ We met Father Bob because he was the Chaplin for the Fire House where my Dad volunteers. We fell in love with him after doing an amazing job at my Mom’s funeral mass. He is so kind compassionate and loving. After he retired from our church, he moved to South Carolina. It was my dream that one day when I got married that he would perform the ceremony. Well, my Dad called him the day after we picked a date and after a few days of thinking it over, he agreed to fly up and perform the ceremony. That was all I needed my wedding wish came true. He did an amazing job. The ceremony was perfect and I felt closer to my Mom that day!!


Ceremony Music A+ The music teachers from the school district that I work in.

Cocktail Hour Music A+ Steel Sensations
Our guests are still talking about the CH. They had a great time with the steel drum band the drinks and weather, they didn’t want to go inside.

DJ A+ DJ Richie is the house DJ from the Harbor Crab
It was his first wedding. Richie spent a lot of time with us, making sure we got everything we wanted for music and wanted to make sure it would be perfect. He did a great job and most importantly everyone danced the night away.


Cake A+ Audrey’s Bakery Sayville

Joe picked out the cake while at Land’s End and to be honest I was a little worried about the color choices and how it would look. Well, I didn’t need to worry. They did an awesome job and everyone crowded around the cake to take pictures all night.

We loved Marco from the minute we walked into the studio. The pictures were amazing and the staff was very kind, patient and helpful. Marco called a few nights before to discuss details and he was very easy to talk to and understood all of our unique situations. The day of pictures went very smoothly and to be honest we loved that they weren’t in our faces annoying. They were absolutely perfect and the pictures say it all.























Dancing Lessons A+ Arthur Murray Port Jefferson
For our anniversary my FH surprised me with lessons so we can have a great first dance. At first I was very nervous, but after one lesson the staff there made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We enjoyed each and every lesson. We had so much fun that we continued going even after the wedding. I highly recommend Arthur Murray, we had a blast! The dance was so great and we will never forget it!!!


And Finally the best for Last

I knew before we even got engaged that I wanted to get married at LE. My Dad gave us the gift and memories of the most beautiful and perfect wedding. I cannot even begin to describe how amazing the staff is at LE. From ever visit, phone conversation and email with our coordinator Judy, we knew we made the right choice. They were so kind, patient and helpful. The day of they surpassed every expectation. We felt like royalty from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Every detail was perfect. Our Maître D and Bridal Attendant were amazing. They even rinsed off my feet from all of the sand while taking pictures. When we needed help bustling my dress, they were there to help. The food was incredible and there was so much of it. Our guests are still commenting about how perfect everything was. Land’s End really goes above and beyond to give you your dream perfect wedding and we couldn’t have asked for more.
