We got married on Saturday October 4 2008! We were engaged for alittle over a year and our day was perfect. I couldn't have asked for better weather!
I was never a big poster on here but it was a great resource to get so many great ideas from. I hope this review can help other brides like many of the reviews on here helped me! Hopefully this post's right! iam keeping my fingers crossed!



Our Reception was at the

Sir Oliver Limos

They were on time, and very clean. Both of our drivers were wonderful. And most of all they were very time conscious about us running into overtime. I am sure most limo services count on that extra $$$. But they made sure were didn't. We also used them to take us to the airport the next day!




Concours D'elegance

Maria totally our did herself! My maitron of honor used Maria for her wedding. She found here on LIW. And I knew after that wedding I wanted her to do my hair for my own wedding. She designed the hair style exactly the same way she did the day of the trial. And it held up all night long!

Like many brides you search out for the perfect photographer. Someone who's photo style you like and most of all a personality that goes with yours! Until my wedding day I didn't realize that as a bride your with your photographer longer that day then you are with your groom. George from Right Angle Studios in Plainview shot my wedding. I can't say enough good things about him. George came highly recommended from a client who used him for 2 family weddings. He was the 1st and only photographer I met with. I went in with a budget of what I wanted to spend on Photos and Video. I knew what kind of style photos I was looking for as well. When we first met with him, I knew his personality and enthusiasm was exactly what I wanted. The day of our wedding was perfect! We got married on October 4, 2008. We got married at St. Francis DeSales in Patchogue, and afterwards we took pictures at the Arboretum in Oakdale. Our reception was at the Watermill. I had told George that I wanted to be at our cocktail hour, and we were he made sure of it. At the recepition I almost forgot he was there! It was so nice not to have a camera or video in our faces the whole night. I 've been to weddings that you can't escape the big video cart! George's assistant Abby was great too, as well as our Videographer Pete. We got our proofs about 3-4 weeks after the wedding. All our 1200 printed proofs were amazing. He doesn't have a border around the pictures with his name on them like some photographers proofs have. After narrowing down what pictures for our album and giving him the info he needed for our video. We had our thank you's and our fully edited video within 2-3 weeks. Even meeting with him after our wedding he never rushed us out. He took his time just as he did when we first met him. He really knows how to take the 'perfect picture'. I would definitely recommend George from Right Angle Studios to any bride! All the Pic's I used are his!

Centerpiece candles

I researched for a soy pillar candle. And found such a wonderful website. Over 6 months of e-mails Mickey Moschitto sent me these beautiful pillars. Soy candles burn much slower and more evenly than a wax candle and don't ever leave a black residue! They were more pricy than pillars you can buy in Michaels but they could never even come close to these!

I got my shoes on Zappos because of their return policy. I ordered 2 pair and was able to return the one I didn't want no problem. We took pics at the Oakdale Arboretum.
