First off, I want to thank Ron & Liz for creating this website that brides are able to communicate, share, advice, and receive support during the wedding process. To the LIW girls, I want to thank you as well. Without you, I feel I would have been lost and unorganized. Each and every one of you has impacted me whether it was a vendor, review, funny story, or a heart to heart. Thank-you for your support, I wish you all the best with your weddings. When I first joined LIW, I found the reviews to be the most helpful, so I wanted to make sure that I provided an equally good review as the brides before me. I hope this review will help future brides, just as the past reviews have done for me. And onto the review…….

Vineyard Caterers….. (A++++) http://www.vineyardcaterers.com

VC was the first place my husband and I looked. As soon as we walked in we felt right at home. We met with Bill, who was real and did not try to overly sell us. He stated, “Look at other places, find exactly what you are looking for. This is the most important day of your life. I don’t need to overly sell you this place because it sells itself.” And he was right! Once we walked the grounds of the vineyard, I pictured my husband and I getting married outside underneath the Arbor. Everything at VC was perfect throughout our whole process. The day of we had a couple of glitches but nothing that could impact on my review. John, the maitre D, is awesome; you will want to take him home with you. The whole evening he made sure my FH and I ate, drank, and enjoyed. At the end of the night, he packed everything up for us and even wrote a sweet message on our cake box. VC was OVERLY accommodating, threw in extras, and was just GREAT! WE LOVED THEM!

Imagine Studios…… (A+++++)
When we met with Lia and Nelson, we knew that we wanted them to share our special day and capture all our special moments. They arrived on time (even before me) and made sure to get every shot in. They were a pleasure to deal with. They kept me calm throughout the day with little jokes. They work together beautifully and at times you have no idea that they are there. Our pictures are stunning and I hope we will be able to work with them in the future. We just saw our unedited video and I can’t wait to see the final product. They were one of my favorite vendors.
****Reminder for future brides****
Make sure you write down certain pictures that you want because on the day of you won’t remember.
DanceJock (A+++++)
When we were looking for a DJ, we knew we needed to go to DanceJock. All three of my sister’s used them. When my MOH (sister) got married, it was days after 9/11 and we were not sure we were going to be able to have the wedding (cause my sister is a nurse and brother in law NYPD officer). However, we did and Scott (the DJ) gave us permission and will to party. We were so impressed how he handled that situation that we knew he could handle anything. So we booked Scott. When we went for our meeting he remembers each one of my siblings (what a businessman). He was great the day of, just as we knew he would be. The dance floor was packed the whole night. He also threw in a lot of extras.

Burtons (A+++)
All I can say is……. STUNNING FLOWERS! They were a pleasure to deal with and listened to every detail.

Serenity Limos (A++++)
They arrived on time. No problems.

Denise Leli-headpiece (A++++)
I knew what I wanted for my headpiece and contacted Denise to help me. She was such a PLEASURE to deal with. By going to her privately I was able to save a lot of money. When I got my headpiece, it was more than I ever could have expected. She is FANTASTIC and I would use her again. Also, she offers to turn your headpiece into jewelry when you are done.

Paradise Bridal (B)
When I first went to Paradise, they were a pleasure to deal with. So what happened? When my dress came in they ordered it to short. Since my dress was a hallow to hem they could not give the dress to make it longer. They were not helpful when we explained the problem. Eventually, the manager came (after asking for her several times) and she deducted the money for the hallow to hem. I ended up exchanging my shoe for a shorter heel and it worked out perfect.

After Hours (C)
They were a nightmare. They ordered the wrong sizes, unorganized, and were not helpful. Our groomsmen were fixing their tuxes the day of the wedding. I don’t recommend them.

Casa De Mario (A++++)
I love this store. Mario, the owner was a pleasure. After the dress debacle he worked so hard with us to find a shorter heel. He exchanged the shoe I bought the year before (when n I was first measured) for a shorter one. He also, decorated the shoes to give them an extra pzaz! HIGHLY RECOMMEND him.

Make-up by Claudia: A++++++
I loved CLAUDIA. She is a vendor on here. She was amazing. She arrived ontime and kept me calm throughout. My boss' daughter who works as a reporter for a new channel used her. She told me she was the BEST out there and has used her when she is on camera. She was right, AMAZING!

My hair: A++++
My girlfriend is a hairdresser and did it. I loved it!

Bridal Elegance (B-)
I so wish I could give a higher rating. However, I personally feel that Phyllis is overwhelmed due to her booming business. She was unreachable at times and her shop was rude when people called to ask questions. Several of my girls had problems with their alterations not being right. In the end, everything worked out. However, he price is still unbeatable.

Rabbi Ehrlich and Deacon Ed (A+++++)
What a great team!!!! We have had so many compliments on our ceremony and how beautiful it was. They were great.

Bellacartastudio (A++++) www.bellacartastudio.com
A month before the wedding, the vendor I was planning on using fell threw due to being unreliable. So I contacted Lisa. She was amazing. With a month before the wedding she created table numbers, escort cards, and menus. She was pleasure to deal with and has an amazing vision. She was PERFECT!

And I quote - invitations (A++++)
We fell in love with 'And I Quote'. The day we went look for invitations, It was almost 5 o'clock. We didn't realize that they were about to close. Elaine (the owner) was there and she told my fiancé and I to come in and look. She stayed open an extra 1 1/2. I felt bad that she was staying open SO late but she actually wanted us to stay. She was the one telling us, 'Don't worry this is what I love to do, I don't mind staying open.' She was so helpful and kept showing us new books and she was not rushing us AT ALL! She had a HUGE selection and all the NEWEST books that we had not seen. She really tried to help us find the perfect invitation that suited our style. She was knowledgeable, courteous, funny, and a pleasure to work with. We ended up getting our invitations that day. Out of almost all the vendors she was OUTSTANDING and THE BEST! Recommend them HIGHLY.

Costco Travel (A++++)
A friend of ours told us about Costco travel. They were great. They gave us lower rates then anywhere else. All our transfers were easy in Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora. We will use them again.

Anyway... you looked beautiful. I LOVE your location. I would have loved to have an outdoor wedding like that with the flowers everywhere but thank God ours was inside cause we had torrential downpours

Sunflowers are my second favorite flower next to gebers! You had em so you rock The picture of you and the BM's is a great shot with the bright colors against the b&w. Many congrats to you and the hubby!
