STBH is finally married!!!!!!! CLM, Pedestals, Mia, DOC-Chrisitine

I’d like to thank Ron and Liz for creating such an awesome site for brides!

Sherard and I planned on paying for the wedding ourselves, but our family members helped us along the way which we are utterly grateful!! We could not have done this without them.

Weather- Beautiful!!! I was scared because it was cold when I got into the limo and when I got out, but the sun was out during our ceremony and it could have not been anymore perfect. I wasn’t hot or cold.

RK Bridal- A+++++++++++
My gown as by Allure and it was the second dress that I tried on. I had went to RK Dec of last year and Gilda had helped me. She was sooo helpful and knowledgeable! My dress arrived late Januray 06. I was absolutely ecstatic!!! I had one try on to make sure that it was the dress I had ordered then 3 fittings after! For the fittings which were on a Saturday, one of there busiest days, I never waited more than 15 minutes. The seamstress was an absolute doll to work with.

I also purchased one FG dress, 2 Junior Bridesmaid Jim Hjelm dresses using their No Frills Program, another 2 JBM Jim Hjelm dresses using their alterations people, and my MOH Bill Levkoff dress also using their alterations people. Everything either came on time or earlier. The colors and sizes were perfect.

Willowbrook Mall Macy’s A++++++
My 3 BM ordered their dresses from here! No tax and it came quickly and was perfect.

Zeller Tuxedos Queens Blvd Forest Hills A++
We worked with Robert and he was very helpful. When the tuxes were picked up, just one problem that was quickly resolved. We ordered so many tuxes, that Sherard’s tux was free. The men wore blacksuits with burgundy tie and vest with a grey long sleeves. Very hooot!

Chateau La Mer A+++++++++++++++++
They were unbelieveable across the boards! As soon as I stepped out the limo, Nick was there to greet me. Shannon, my Bridal attendant for the day helped me out of the limo and straight to the suite where she asked if I wanted something to drink. The ceremony was exactly how I had envisioned it to be. Everyone was sooo surprised when they saw the amount of food there was during the cocktail hour. The boat ride was unbelievable. It gave Sherard and I a couple of seconds alone to just soak everything in. We were finally married and all the stress leading up to this day was all worth it! The water looked amazing as the sun hit it! During the reception, everyone was again surprised to see that they could have seconds. Shannon brought us all of our choices but I was too nervous and excited to eat! We did our specialty drinks and boy were they strong. I thought they’d be watered down but NO WAY!!!!! Everyone told me that their waiters were awesome and that they were very attentive. The food was delicious!!

Pedestals A+++
They were out of this world. They worked within my budget and provided me with such unbelievable and great quality flowers. They always answered all of my questions quickly and with a smile.

Marisa Sugar Coated Inc Grooms Cake A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Christine recommended Marisa to me because I needed to find someone who could replicate an XBOX 360 for SHerard! She did a wonderful job, exceeded my expectations. The day before the wedding she called me and asked me his favorite game and I said it was NBA 2K7 to my surprise she included a box of the game and a cd to look like the game on the cake. She is a sweetheart and will work within your budget! Would highly recommend her to any.

Black Forest Bakery A+++++++
upgraded our cake, We wnated something very simple with a burgundy ribbon on each tier. Each tier was a different flavor.. It had fondont icing and it was everything I wanted

Vinny -High Voltage A+++++
He was an absolutely awesome vendor! No hassles! Played all the music I wanted for the ceremony and reception. answered my emails quickly!!! would highly recommend him

Duet A+++
Jay had taken our engagement shots and I loved him right away! He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Jay and David the videographer arrived at 8 am sharp at my hotel suite at the Hilton. They went straight to work. Taking a candids of me and my girls. I was rushing to leave the hotel because the limo was already waiting for half an hour downstairs when Jay stopped me and said “Kimberly, you shouldn’t rush this is your day! They will wait for you, you are the bride!” I thought that was the sweetest thing. Once we got to CLM, I realized that I had an extra photographer. Jay’s team was non intrusive and wonderful to work with! They made Sherard and I feel like royalty.

Mia A+++++
She came at 5 am sharp bright eyed and bushy tailed! She went straight to work on us. She did my, my mothers and my sisters hair and makeup! I almost cried when I finally saw myself. She did exactly what I wanted my hair to look like. My makeup was absolutely beautiful. My mother was sooo impressed by my makeup that she insisted she get her makeup done also. My sister also decided right there and then to get her makeup done. Mia was very accommodating with all of these changes! Ladies, she is definitely worth it to book her! She did such an awesome job with my mothers and sisters makeup that my grandmother ended up getting her makeup done by her.

Father Joe and Judy A+
We only met with them once due to conflicting schedules. We had our final meeting with them over the phone with Judy who was a gem. She let Sherard and I have total freedom with creating our own ceremony. She was very easy to deal with!

Ceremony Programs & Invitations Pippy A+++++++++++++++++++++++++
I knew that I wanted pocketfolds and Pippy helped us create them. She was super quick to easy her emails and she was always showing us proofs of our invitations, changes were always made quick! She gave us exactly what we wanted! For the programs, we had Diana do a layered program and ot was just soo easy to work with her. The papers she uses are top notch! Her prices cant be beat!! I’d definitely recommend her to any and everyone!

Tri-County A+++
I purchased my veil and tiara from them. Yanna was a pleasure to work with and her prices are awesome. I almost made the mistake of purchasing my veil and tiara at RK! Thanks to LIW Brides for recommending Tri county because I found the same exact veil that I saw at RK that was selling for 375 for 80 bucks! Gotta love a deal!

Abilene Limos A
We worked with G and he was very helpful and accommodating to our needs. We first agreed on the Porsche Cayenne for the ladies and the Escalade 07 for the men. We ended up getting both Escalades which wasn’t a bad idea because more people were able to fit in the Escalade for me. They also agreed to send back a limo for us to go home to Poughkeepsie which is in Dutchess county. They arrived on time and got us home safe!

Larosa Cubano –A++
They came on time and was a total hit with the crowd. Everyone loved them even the women! I would highly recommend them. They are half the price of other cigar rollers! I dealt with Frank over the phone and through emails.

Christine Exquisite Affairs Productions A+++++++++++++++++++++
I was sooo happy to hear that Christine was going to be a DOC! I snatched her right away! I knew that I was going to be in good hands for my wedding. She arrived exactly on time with my grooms cake in tow. She had met up with Marisa and picked it up the night before! What a sweetheart, saved me a trip to Brooklyn since I live in Poughkeepsie! She did everything and anything I asked. When she arrived at the hotel, she sat with Jay and David ans went over my must have list of photos! She gave me my peace of mind that day! She always had a smile on her face and was ready to help to help out with anything. The ceremony was exactly what I wanted. The reception tables was exactly what I wanted. Since there was no rehearsal, she cued everyone to walk during the ceremony. She also provided me with vases for my BMs BOKs for the sweetheart table. She also packed up all our bags at the Hilton and made sure nothing was left behind. When I first saw the Escalade at the hotel I told Christine right away that that wasn’t my limo, before I could even complete the sentence she was already on the phone dialing Abilene’s number. I just told her to forget it and it wasn’t worth it right now. She was always quick to jump in to rectify something if I stated something was wrong. I felt as though I had nothing to worry about!!! And I didn’t. When we had gotten off the boat, Christine asked if I had wanted slippers and I said yes. She went in got me slippers and put them on my feet. My girls who were in the party said she was helpful and always wanting to help with anyone. My father absolutely looooooooved her! She has a great future ahead of her in this business and I am 300% glad that I had her as my DOC! Did I mention that my bridal party and family absolutely ADORE her!!!!

I got my dress from RK Bridal too, I have had such a good experience so far with them. I also plan on having my BM use the No Frills program for their gowns... heard great things about it and they are fast too.

Loved the flowers and Mia really did a great job, you looked stunning.

Cant wait to see more pics.
