LIWeddings - A+ This site seriously helped with most of my wedding planning. I Wish I joined earlier to select better vendors, but its over and I still had an amazing day!Thank you so much to everyone who helped out.
Weather : A+++ The day before the wedding we had torrential rain, it was seriously like a hurricane. I was scared it would go through the next day and ruin the wedding. I woke up the next morning to see a clear and sunny sky. Not ONE cloud in the sky!
Bridal Shower – A+++
My Shower was held at Verdi’s in Westbury on July 13, 2008. My Bridal Party did a great job organizing the games and handling the gifts. One of the games was making a wedding dress out of toilet tissue. The other one was a questionnaire that I had to answer about my husband and If got the answer wrong I needed to chew a piece of bubbalicous gum! Let’s just say my mouth was FULL of Gum lol. I received a generous amount of gifts and I am so thankful for that. My Shower invites were done from an Ebay seller they came out perfect! Verdi’s did a great job, the service, the food, the champagne punch, and cappuccino station was Great! They also included the cake. For favors we gave out measuring spoons shaped as a heart. I also made a candy buffet; the candy was purchased from www.metrocandy.com

Marina Del Rey – A+++++
Words cannot describe my experience at the Marina Del Rey. They went above and beyond for us. Cocktail hour was full of different stations, seafood, pasta, sushi, different kinds of meat including a roasted pig (Hubbys decision) martini bar, cheeses, coldcuts,
Etc… We had a 7 choice menu for entrees which consisted of duck, chicken, steak, vegetarian can’t remember the rest. Viennese hour was incredible; every dessert you can think of was there. Assortment of different pasties, chocolate fountain, bananas fosters station, crepe station, fruits and dessert liquor. Joe Orzo who was our maitre d’ took care of our every need. One of our guests asked for Hennessey and the bartender said I will be right back, he actually went out of hit way to get a bottle and placed it on the guests table, and he was in such shock. I cannot brag enough about the service. The view is amazing, it’s right on the water between the Throgs Neck and Whitestone bridges. The sunset was just perfect. I seriously have nothing negative to say about the Marina Del Rey they fulfilled every need and made my dream come true.

Rainflorist – B
I wish I looked at more florists before I made my final decision. I had some bumps on the road during the trial process, poor communication skills. I was very disappointed in my Bouquet, I wanted it full of calla lilies but all I got was 6 lilies and this poof of tulle around it which i pulled apart lol. BM bouquets were very nice and so were my CP.
They failed to decorate my cake and give me a toss bouquet, which I didn’t mind since I did not like mine to begin with. Overall, I would still recommend them.

RJ Limo – A
I ordered 2 SUV Limos and one Rolls Royce. They were the best priced limo we found. They came on time and the drivers were very friendly. My Rolls Royce was very clean and Eye catching! The only problem was in one of the SUV there was no AC and it was pretty warm out and there were 18 people in the Limo. I would highly recommend RJ Limo.

Charisol Bridal Boutique – A+
My Dress was designed my Allure Bridal and I purchased it at Charisol Bridal in Queens, NY. I was hesitant to go because it is a small salon and I thought I wouldn’t find my dress and I was WRONG! When they say “small things come in big packages” it’s so true. The staff was so helpful and friendly it made my dress journey so easy. They have a beautiful collection of dresses from bridal, BM, MOB, GF even tuxedos. I very highly recommend them!
Favors –
We did donations to 3 charities. 1. American heart association in remembrance of my husbands father. 2. Diabetes Association and 3. Cancer research. We also gave boxes of chocolates to each guest. The boxes were purchased from Michaels and the chocolates were lindt.
DJ/Band
DJ Serg is AWESOME! He helped pick our intro songs and he pumped up the dance floor with a great collection of music. He set up 3 plasma TV’s that played slide shows of us and the dance floor. He provided the lighting that surrounded the walls of the room. It would change color and it would flicker along with the music, it was great!
We wanted to incorporate our culture and therefore we wanted an Armenian Band. Our Band was my husbands uncle, he played traditional Armenian music, which is similar to Arabic music. He did a great job!
Photograpghy from Alfonso - A
He was recommended by our DJ and we fell in love with his photojournalistic/traditional style. Day of, I did hear some complaints from my bridal party that he was calling them names and cursing, I didn’t like that when I heard it I thought that was very unprofessional. Aside from that I love my pictures and video.
DIY Cardbox
I purchased everything from Michaels and cost around $45 total.

Invites - DIY
I purchased my pocket folds from cardsandpockets.com
Ribbon online as well as my rhinestone buckles. Back drop paper from paper presentation and card stock from staples.

Jordan The Belly Dancer - A +
I came across Jordan when I went out to my friend’s birthday party in New Jersey. She was performing at Aladdin Restaurant and I fell in love with her moves! I was always fascinated by belly dancers and took lessons myself. I always new when I got married that I would have a belly dancer at my wedding, I’m glad I did!

Hair - A
Cherish83 (Megan) recommended Rosa for Hair and I gave her a call for a trial and loved it. She came on time and did my sisters hair, my moms, my cousins and mine of course.
She added extensions as well. She brought along her sister-in-law who also did a great job. I highly recommend her, FM me for her info.
Make-up by Tara – A
She has been my neighbor for years and I learned that she works in Sephora and does make-up. This worked out perfect because I was still looking for some, and she came by and did my trail. She spent so much time on me and made sure I looked perfect, shes so kind and patient and has a lot of experience. FM me for her info.

Bridal Party Gifts
I wish I look a picture of them but I will describe it the best i can. I gave my BM’s
A hat box full of bath and body products, along with a personalized bath robe and their jewelry for the day of. For the Groomsman we gave them a personalized tool kit and Kenneth cole watches.

Tuxedos - A
We went to San Marco located in Yonkers, NY. The Groom and Groomsmen wore Joseph Abboud Tuxedos. The vests were black with a silver stripped tie. Their service was great and the transaction was nice and easy.

Bridesmaid, Flower Girl, MOH, MOB & MIL gowns:
My BM’s wore an Ann Taylor knee length dress in “Pacific Blue”.
Flower girl wore an adorable ivory dress with a light blue sash and a peach colored rose that was on the sash. MOB wore a beautiful royal blue dress that matched the same style as my wedding gown. MOB wore a plum colored gown embellished with shiny beads it looked great on my mom; it was purchased at the wedding plaza. My mother inlaw purchased a beautiful gown from En Toto boutique in Manhasset, NY it was champagne and iridescent.

Accessories
Veil & Headpiece: Barrons A+ – Great Experience and did exactly what I asked for.
Shoes: Since my husband is not that tall I wanted a very low heel shoe. I found them online and they are made by Colorifics.
DOJ: Tri-County, It was custom made and it was exactly what it was looking for.
Garter: I originally wanted a NYPD garter but it was too much money for a garter. I purchased a basic garter from Charisol Bridal. Thank Goodness I did because when my husband threw the garter it got caught inside the chandelier and was not able to get it out!
Day of Hoodie: Purchased from customizedgirl.com

Bachelorette Party at Hunkmania Duvet- A+
No words can describe my Bachelorette party, it was the most fun I had in years!
My Girls did a great job in organizing this event. My Girls came over all dolled up and they gave out goody bags to each girl. Each bag had candy, shot glass necklace, tiaras, lip gloss, etc…We started out the evening by eating dinner at Pasticcio Restaurant at the Atlas Park in Queens. We came back to my house and a huge SUV limo was waiting for us, it had a pool behind it! The ride was so much fun but HOT! The AC was not working too well and we were all sweating/ We finally arrived at Hunkmania and the anticipation was waiting! My girls bought a package where I had to go on stage and get a crazyyy!! Lap dance, I felt like I cheated on my husband lol…The guys would come to our bed and start dry humping us LOL, throwing our legs in the air, picking us up etc…it was sooo much fun! After that we went next door to “Porky’s” danced a little and had more drinks.
Our limo picked us up at 2:00am and we headed back home.

Maui HM A++++
Ahhhh every time I hear Hawaiian music or hear the word ‘Maui’ my heart just melts!
The best vacation I have ever taken, it truly is paradise. My Sister-In-Law and her Husband were so kind enough to provide the Honeymoon for us. We stayed at the Westin Ocean Resort Villas on Kaanapali Beach for 10 days! We snorkeled, did the helicopter tour, Drove down the west coast of Maui, sunrise bike tour, submarine, Old Lahaina Lua and Sunset cruise with food and booze! Restaurants in Maui were so delicious no complaints and the people are the friendliest in the world. I cannot wait to go back again!
