Yes the food was amazing. We selected the double cut lamb chops ( Instead of a fish ) as one of our selections, and everyone raved about how great they were, and said it was a nice change from the standard choices you get. You can't go wrong though, I heard all the food was great.

I am so happy to hear that you had such a wonderful time at The Bourne Mansion. I'm getting married there next April and I'm so excited! Thank you for making me feel like I'm going to be in good hands with them. The place is so beautful that I think about how I'm going to decorate it constantly. I really like your purple and white color scheme and the cake was beautiful! I hope you don't mind if I steal some of your ideas

I just visited and am SERIOUSLY considering it, just a few concerns I had, were the bathrooms kept in good shape throughout the night? Also, did you notice any older/mildew smell throughout the place? And how was the waitstaff? The place in my absolute dream and I thought you might be able to ease my mind with a few things...Also, were you staying at a nearby hotel in the pictures on the water? I'm looking for a good location for the wedding party to stay and that looked beautiful!!! Really appreciate your input!

Cara,
I didn't use the bathrooms during the night, but I'm sure someone in my family would've told me after if it was not kept clean.
I never noticed a mildew smell when I was there. I was there about 3 times before my wedding.
The waitstaff overall was very good, there were 1 or 2 servers that were' as good, but I received many compliments from my guests on the good service.
The pictures by the water weren't that close.
I stayed at Danfords in Port Jefferson, and we got ready there. I got some beautiful pictures at the hotel.
