WEATHER: A+++++
To any future brides, do yourself a favor-Don't monitor the weather until the day of. The weather.com 10 day forecast drove me crazy. The weather went from Thunderstorms to Mostly Sunny and from Mostly Sunny to Thunderstorms. Precipitation went from 60% to 40% to 0% to 30%....etc. The day ended up being perfect. It was overcast/mostly cloudy and in the mid to upper 70's (crazy for the end of August). It was perfect because a concern of mine was not only outdoor pictures but also the bridal party/parents/vendors being uncomfortably hot. So I was extremely happy.

FARMINGDALE HORTICULTURE GARDENS: A+
Located just south of the LIE on Route 110. BEAUTIFUL place to take pictures. $250 fee to the schools Horticulture Program. Fully refundable if it rains. BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL!!!

HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS-Hauppauge: A
I stayed in the Bridal Suite the night before. $200 for the night which I thought was reasonable. It had two huge rooms so it was very convenient for all the girls to get hair/make-up and get dressed.

MYA-COSMETIC ARTISTRY-Hair: A+++++
She is just plain awesome!! I had an idea in my head and it was so hard to explain but Mya nailed it!! I was so happy with my updo. All of the girls and my mom also had there hair done by Mya and everyone was happy. She is very fast and creative. She is also sweet as can be. Her prices are very reasonable. A definite recommendation.

MARIE KATZ-Make-up: A+++++
Another GREAT vendor. She always has a smile. She is excellent. I had airbrush make-up done and I loved it. It is so light and you look flawless. Also the girls and my mom had their make-up done and they all LOVED it. Another definite recommendation.

DENATALE JEWELERS-(400 Madison Ave.): A+ My hubby got my e-ring there and then we got our wedding bands there. Perfect!! No complaints. Jim Denatale is a pleasure to do business with.

CUSTOM GLAMOUR GIRL: A+
I ordered the 'Mrs......' crystal boy shorts from them. They came very fast and were perfect and comfortable.

WRAP WITH US: A+
I ordered the iron on decals from them. Very easy to iron on and shipped very fast.

ENCORE-INVITATIONS: A+
I loved my invitations. Very good quality and came in fast.

PHYLISS FROM GOWNFIND/BRIDAL ELEGANCE: A+
She did my alterations, the bridesmaids, my moms, and mother-in-laws. She did a good job. She knows what she is doing and I was very confident in her. However she does get very busy so get your appointments in quick.

VERRONES SHOES-Sayville: A+
I got my bridal shoes from them. Excellent selection, reasonable prices, and came in very quick.

BILL LEVKOFF: A++
The bridesmaids dresses were BEAUTIFUL! The quality of the dresses was very good. And they look great on every body type.

KINGS PARK FLORIST: A+++++++++++++++++
EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!!! My centerpieces were perfect and gorgeous. My bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were perfect. I was concerned about matching the color of the bridesmaids dresses (euro-wine) with the flowers without making the wedding look to 'fall-ish.' They nailed it!! They were beautiful!! Definite recommendation.

FLYBOY NATURALS-ROSE PETALS: A+
I ordered the rose petals from them the week of the wedding. They came in very fast and perfect. The rose petals down the aisle was a beautiful touch. I also used the petals to throw outside the church and little throughout the reception as decoration.

SS. CYRIL & METHODIUS RCC-DEER PARK: A+++++
If anyone knows Father Frank Gaeta would definitely agree that he is WONDERFUL!!! He did a great job and he put special touches in our ceremony that meant so much to us. Also we did Pre-Cana there (all day Saturday session) and it was really good.

SIR OLIVER: A+++++++
First off Rich is awesome to do business with. His prices are very reasonable and he is such a nice guy. Jennifer who also works there was such a pleasure. The day of the limo was clean, on-time, and perfect. We had the 22 passenger Cadillac Escalade. This company really cares about their customers. Joe was a driver and he was just phenomenal. We helped me in and out and helped my with my dress, flowers, veil, etc. He was so much more then just the limo driver. Also we used Sir Olivers services to get to the airport and get picked up and it was perfect. Jack picked us up and he is just so sweet and nice. Definite Recommendation.

JOEY GA+/QUEENS BRIDAL CENTER: F
We actually met Joey in the old Parties Alive Studio. We felt an instance confidence in him and his work. He was a great personality and really know and loves what he does. On the day of he was awesome. We also had a digital photographer (Fritz) who was great. Even the lighting people were great. Very helpful and attentitive. I really don't think they missed a thing. And another good thing was that I told them it was important that we get the formal shots in so we could make our cocktail hour and we were sitting down ready to eat at 6:45 for our 7:00 cocktail hour.

LAURA-LA PRODUCTIONS-DOC, save-the-date, invitations-engagement party and wedding, petal cones, programs, water bottles, tic-tacs. Party poppers, photo guest book: A++++++++
I am going to say now that I can go on and on and on about Laura. She was incredible. She is such a pleasure to work with. If you are having any problem she will solve it and make you smile. She did so much for us. Everything that she did came out beautiful. And the photo guest book came out so good. I absolutely loved it. She also added little surprise touches at the reception. She is so so so good!!! She was so organized. I honestly can't say enough about her. Also I can't forget her assistant Jessica. She was so nice and calmed any nerve that I had before the ceremony. They also set the church up perfectly. Definite recommendation.

WB SHOP-DONATIONS FAVORS: A+
We donated to the Christopher Reeve paralysis Foundation and received dog tags from the donation. They were a big hit.

PHOTO CUBE: A+
My hubby made this for us and it came out BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT!!!

T& T PRODUCTIONS: A+
We dealt with Hal throughout the process. He was very helpful with everything and his prices were very reasonable. We watched sample videos that he did and they were VERY good. On the day of we had two guys for the church and one guy for the rest of the day. You didn't even notice that they were there. Our video came out fantastic!!! They are so creative and so so so easy to work with and talk to!! I am going to try and post the recap clip next week. Highly recommended!!!

PARTIES ALIVE: B+
We dealt with Rich throughout the process and booked him as our MC. His prices were reasonable and he had a lot of great options to choose from. We felt very comfortable with Rich. On the day of we found out that unfortunately Rich got hurt and night before and we had a different MC. All the important things went perfectly and the new MC was very nice. However he didn't work the crowd as good as would have liked or as well as I really think Rich would have. It felt like I was getting people to dance. Don't get me wrong, the dance floor most the night was packed but definitely not all night. And people started to leave after the Viennese Hour. I think more people would have stayed to the end if they were dancing. But like I said, All the important things went perfectly.

FLORAL TERRACE: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This is another Vendor that I could go on and on and on about. We dealt with Arienthe and she was wonderful. She was great to do business with!! We got everything that we wanted plus more. On the day of everything at the Floral Terrace went PERFECTLY!!! As soon as we got there the Maitre D George brought us up to the HUGE bridal suite. Since we had some time til the cocktail hour started we got to take pictures in the ballroom and see it all set up and then go and see the cocktail hour set up. INCREDIBLE!!! We then went back up to the bridal suite where we were catered to with every dish from the cocktail hour. Everything was delicious. The Bridal attendants were so attentive and so awesome. Everything ran so smoothly. I had SO MANY compliments about the food. The intermezzo was awesome, the dinners were perfect, the cake was delicious and picture perfect, the Viennese hour was INSANE. Seconds of the dinners and hot towels were even passed out. People also kept telling me that their waiters were so good. They asked us what we wanted for dinner and then also put a silver platter with all five entrees on it so we can have it all. All I can really say is that their food and service went above and beyond. I have not one complaint. They also had to go boxes from the Viennese Hour for people to take home. The Viennese hour was really INSANE! George took us outside to take a quick look at everything and then the bridal attendant Lorena served us everything at our dias. And they sent my in-laws home with TRAYS of food. Near the end of the night Lorrena (one of the Bridal attendants) even changed my shoes for me!! This place is top notch. I would recommend this hall to anyone*and then beg them to invite me to their wedding!! J They set the placecards up perfectly, and the 'to go' things I had (coffee, water, and tic-tacs). Everything was exactly how I wanted it. I can honestly say it was FLAWLESS!!!

GARDEN CITY HOTEL: A
We stayed here the night of the wedding. The room was beautiful!! But FYI: two bagels and two coffees were $18!! If you are going to stay there and plan on breakfast then go to the diner!!!

WESTIN MAUI RESORT & SPA: A+++++
Of course I could write a lot about an eleven day honeymoon so I will make it brief. But if anyone wants more info just send me forum mail. We arrived at the resort and were greeted with Lei's. We were upgraded from the mountain-view room (which we booked with hopes of an upgrade J). Our room was on the top floor deluxe ocean view. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! The resort was so nice and clean. The staff was so friendly. The pools were incredible. They had an adult only pool with a bar and Jacuzzi. It was so nice. The beach front was huge. The location of the resort is perfect. 2 minute walk to Whalers Village (shops and small grocery store), 5 minute walk to Black Rock (excellent snorkel spot), 10 minute drive to Lahina (Big Town with lots of restaurants and shops). The restaurants we went to were great: Ono Bar and Grill, Tropica, Lei-lani's, Hula Grill, David Pauls, Cheeseburger in Paradise (really good), Kimos (really good). The excursions we did was the Old Lahina Lu'au-A, Maui Air Helicopter Ride-A, Haleakala Sunrise Bike Tour with Mountain Riders-A, Molakini Snorkel Trip with Aqua Adventures-A, Road to Hana with Valley Isle Tours-A, Trip to Lanai with Aqua Adventures-A, Warren & Annabelles Magic Show-A+. It was a REALLY REALLY GREAT honeymoon. However I will admit that the flight was long but it definitely was worth it. I also got a lot of information from www.Tripadvisor.com. Great site for wherever you choose you honeymoon to be.

Keepsake Floral: A++++ I love my keepsake floral. They did a great job!! It is on the pricey side but definitely worth it!!!

ROGERS TUXEDO: A+++++ We went to the Babylon location and met with Dave. Everything went so smooth and all the guys looked great. NO problems at all. Some of the guys used the other Rogers Tuxedo locations and again the company on a whole is GREAT to deal with. Definite Recommendation!!!
