I'm back & I'm married...my review
I just want to start off by saying it was the most incredible day of my life!!!! Even with the few set backs.
I woke up at 4:00am, couldnt sleep and my hair and makeup ladies were coming at 6:30 anyway.
My Mom was up too she had beautiful garden arches made for our walkway and was out putting them up (I'll have a pic soon).
Make-up and Hair: Bea Beautiful I rate an A. Bea came with 3 girls because I had such a large party who were getting their hair and makeup done at my house. I think they did a great job, I loved my eyes but I told her very little or no blush she went a little overboard and when she left I rubbed it off. Other than that I was very happy.
Dress: Maggie Sottero 'Miami' bought at Metropolitan Bridal in Staten Island A++
I loved Metropolitan!!! Everyone was so nice there, never once did I get an attitude. My consultant Alyssa was a sweetheart and she even came to my house on my wedding day to help me get dressed. The dress was beautiful as were the bridesmaids gowns.
After Hours Tux: F-
These people S U C K E D!!! The sales guy in the SI Store was a huge wisea$$. We had a total of 12 tuxes being rented, majority of them from the Roosevelt fied mall, some in Staten Island and 3 in NJ. When the guys from LI went to pick up the tuxes 3 of them were sent to SI. The 3 tuxes from NJ, completely wrong, wrong vest, wrong color, full tie instead of bow tie and the alterations were not done. When the day of the wedding comes, my brother and Johns brother in law had full ties instead of bowties, the only pressed the front of the suit on 2 of the guys, they had to take them to a dry cleaner SATURDAY morning for a quickie press. Stay away from them.
Bo-K's : Ken's Colonial Florist SI A+
I think they did a phenominal job! I loved my bo-k and the girls. He threw in extra boutineers and was right on time with delievery.
Centerpieces: Pedestals Howard Beach C
So disappointed with them. My sample piece came out awesome, when I walk into my reception and saw the finished product I was imbarrassed and mortified to say the least. My head table was not decorated the way we had discussed. Its a shame.
Alexis Limos A++
One of my favorite vendors. We had a 1964 rolls and an Escalade. They were immaculate in and out the drivers were awesome, on time would highly recommend!
Favors Lindas Lovelies: A+ what can you say about linda that hasnt already been said! Our Mikasa candybowls were gorgeous!
Chateau Briand: A+++.....LOVED THEM! our Maitre D Angel was just that an Angel! Our attendants were incredible, the food.......just WOW!!! Everyone was telling us how great everything was. We were so happy that we went with CB
DJ~ Premier Party Network A++ we love these guys, they do all of our family party, everyone loves them, played what we wanted, good mixes, awesome
Photo/video ProLine A+, havent seen my proofs yet but I can tell you that my photog and his assistant were great, they had us laughing the whole time, the videographer wasnt in our faces the whole night which I really appricated, cant wait for proofs.
Honeymoon 7 day Southern Caribbean Cruise (Carnival) A++ This trip was incedible, we had a huge balcony that wrapped around the back of the ship, we left from San Juan sailed to ST. Thomas, Martinique (stayed on board and had massages I hate Martinique), Barbados and Aruba. We had so much fun. The travel agent though I wouldnt recommend, she is a vendor on this board so if you want her name FM me. That agency was horrible.
