MORE OF:My September 30, 2006 Wedding Review: WATERMILL, FLOWERS BY MICHELE, FRANKLIN WAYNE MUSIC & MORE!!!!!!

So it has been exactly 38 days since our wedding and here is my review:

RECEPTION: Watermill 10+
They were amazing!!!! From the service to the food, to the attention that was given not just to me and my husband but the entire bridal party-it was great! The food was outrageous and so many people came up to us and agreed that for wedding food it was the best they have had. The ceremony was outside and thank god the weather held up because the grounds outside were beautiful!!! The cocktail hour was sooo good we were so impressed with the layout! The reception went great and everyone was taken care of at each table-no complaints. Sean was out Maitre D' and he was excellent. He was always around to help and made us feel great. Kelly was our bridal attendant who we tipped more because she totally deserved it!! She was amazing and if you are getting married there and are lucky enough to get her-be very happy. James was our Captain and he always made sure we had drinks and that we were happy. Very attentative. I highly recommend the Watermill-a first class affair is what you will get.

FLOWERS: Flower Michele 10+
I can't even explain how beautiful the arrangement came out!! My girls bo-k's were stunning and mine was breath taking!! I was so happy walking into the room to see the centerpieces before anyone else did. The flowers all looked lush and perfect. Again-no complaints. Side tip** If you have the chance use any leftover material from the bridesmaids dresses to use on the handle of the bo-k's. I did and it really came out beautiful. Flower Michele can also try to match it from the material they have-but like I said try to use your own if possible.

Mayfair Limo: 10
They were very good. We had a drop off pick up type of situation because we were staying at a local hotel and were getting married on site so there was not much travel. The limos were clean, the drivers were VERY polite. The owner of the company is an older lady who is very sweet but she sometimes gets a bit confused-you may want to deal with her son-in-law the way we did. But I would recommend them-just go over everything carefully.

MUSIC: FRANKLIN WAYNE: **VISION** 10+
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not even going to go into a long story. JUST BOOK THEM!!!! Cisco ( one of the band leaders) is adorable and sooo helpful. Everyone loved them!! THEY ARE PROBABLY THE TOP WEDDING BAND YOU CAN HIRE.JUST BOOK THEM!!!!!!!!!

PHOTOGRAPHY: Creative Compositions 10+
This company has magazine quality photos. We had Davide and Jovanna doing photos and photo journalism. They are very down to earth and fun to work with. They are ultra creative and I have just got my proofs and it only took about 4 week. They came out so nice. I highly recommend them!!!!!!!!!

BRIDES DRESS: David’s Bridal 8+
Ok-I went there on a whim, got my dress, worked with a wonderful lady named MARIE. Had she not helped me out and allowed me to have a really nice experience-I would say don't go there. They have horrible customer service-and most girls working there are always annoyed at you no matter how nice you come off to them. DO NOT GET YOUR ALTERATIONS there. If you have already and had a good experience-that's great, but more often I have heard bad and they charge WAY TOO MUCH!

SEAMSTRESS: ELENI 10+
This sweet greek lady located in Holbrook works out of her house and she is very reasonable and does an amazing job! She is soo suite and patient and will anything to help you out to make sure you are happy. Worth going to her. When you hear her prices you will understand.

TUXEDOS: After Hours 7+
Look, the guys have it easy. It is a tux-they always Everything went fine. A few mess ups but we used the one in Huntington-they were very nice. Rasheen the manager was very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

HAIR/MAKEUP: Cosmetic Artistry by Mya 10+
My hair came out amazing!!!!!!!!!!! It was a very different type of style and I loved it. My girls came out great. The makeup for the bridesmaids and my mother came out so nice. She is wonderful to work with-I adore her.

I did my own makeup because I am a makeup artist.

I am so proud to have been not just a bride on this site but now to be a make up vendor on here- its wonderful. I have met so many great brides and had the opportunity to share my experience with them and help them look great on their day.

INVITATIONS: Lion In the Sun 10+
I can't say enough about them-they were superb! So nice to deal with and so organized!!! They had a HUGE selection. IF you go ask for Cindy-she is a delight to work with and so helpful. We loved dealing with her. She really tries to help you get what you want. Her experience made paying a little more very worth it. I highly recommend them.

SAVE THE DATE MAGNETS: Candy Wrapper Store 10+
Our STD’s were so cute!! We own two bulldogs and had picture of a bride and groom bulldog couple on the magnet. It was a real hit. This company is wonderful!! They are eager to please and they sure do. We were so impressed on how sweet they were and very accommodating. They did great work-we have told my cousin about them and she has used them for several things for her upcoming wedding next year.

Everything was wonderful!! I am so happy that it is over though-seriously. The day is wonderful but all the work does drive you crazy. It comes so quickly, before you know it all the planning is over and there you are walking down the isle. Remember that even if something should go wrong that day, there really isn’t much you can do about it. Keep in mind what the day really is about-it’s about you and the man you love. You are there with all your friends and family to share that day with. Nothing should be more important than that.

Congrats!!! Everything looked beautiful....and yes , I agree ...I would love to relive that day but am somewhat happy that it's over and can look back at what a beautiful wedding I had and not have to worry!!!! You look so happy!!
