Hi. I am very new to the boards and to wedding planning. I am excited that you have such good reviews on Verdi's, since I am a big food person. Thus far, I've read that the food is great. I'd like to hear more about your experience with them.

I went to the Bridal Expo at Jericho Terrace yesterday, and while I thought it was lovely, the food left me wanting more. It didn't seem to have much flavor to me. Did anyone else have a different opinion?

Beside Verdi's, I am also looking at The Riviera, Steward Manor CC, Coral House, and George Washington House.

Also, does anyone have any opinions or info either way about Ariana Waterfall and Raphael Winery (esp. pricing here).

Thanks for you help. I have been reading your posts for a few weeks- you guys are really helpful to each other. I think it's great.
