Unfortunately I have an updated on one of my A+'s that I gave away! So....I guess having a pleasant interaction with the videographer the day of is no indication of what's to come with the actual video. We received our video recently and are horribly unhappy with it. The quality for some parts is so poor that the screen looks blurry, the sounds quality for some parts is so bad you can't hear and stylistically it looked like a home video. Nothing creative or different about it. I'd regrade this to a 'C' and I think I'm being kind on that. I've put in a complaint to the videographer and am waiting to hear what he has to say about it.

It def does esp because at this point, it's all we have left of the wedding (besides photos). But at the same time, it's amazing how you de-sensitize once the wedding is over so luckily, even though I'm unhappy with it, I'm not the bridezilla I was a few months ago!

Thought I'd make an update in all fairness to the videog. I contacted him to let him know about allllll of my complaints (it was a long list) and he spent over an hour on the phone with me going through them one by one and letting me know what, if anything, could be done to fix the issues. He's since called to tell me his progress - he's about 3/4 done with the changes and I expect I'll have the new video shortly after the new year. I'll let you all know how it turns out...again.

What can I possibly say about Voices Band to explain how great they are? Angelo Venuto (who you may know from KTU and from going to clubs) and his band are the BEST! They are an Italian/American band who can play anything that you request. I threw a lot of new music at them and they didn’t flinch (for ex I picked music from: Pit Bull, Josh Groban, Jason Mraz, Michael Buble, Black Eyed Peas, Train, Michelle Williams, etc). They played their hits – remix of Ti Amo, Sweet Caroline, etc which got everyone out of their seats. DH’s 89 year old grandmother even got on the floor! They are not your typical wedding band at all. They play current music and the prerecord some of the background so you don’t end up with 20 songs that all sound the same. People were raving that they’d never danced so much at a wedding in their lives; DH and I didn’t sit once either. I cannot say enough about them. They are pricey – but worth every penny. In my opinion, the band can make or break the night and Voices certainly made ours.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are the first person i know on LIW who has used Voices Band! My SIL used them in her 2008 wedding and i fell in love with them. I always knew bands were pricey but when we first got engaged i told FH, we are doing a DJ to save money, but if you really want a band, it has to be Voices. and we booked them on the spot! yes they are a bit pricey - but worth every penny in my opinion! I will never forget SIL's wedding and how no one sat down the whole night ebcause their music was phenomenal!
So glad you had a fantastic time with them!

I heard Voices for the first time at my sister's wedding (she had heard them at someone else's) and I knew I had to have them too! We originally picked a wedding date of 6/6/10 but they weren't available so we actually switched our date just to have them!

They are hands down the best band I've ever heard. I had minimal communication with them prior to the wedding and I was nervous about that but they proved me wrong. They nailed everything I requested of them!

They do have heavy Italian accents and mess up names/words in the reception entrance that aren't Italian lol so just brace yourself for that. Otherwise, they are perfection.
