LIW- A++++++++++++++++++ I cant thank Ron and Liz enough for this website! I found it before Brian and I got engaged (I knew it was coming soon) and posted for my first time the night after we got engaged. This site has an unbelievable wealth of information and I have no idea how I would have planned my wedding without it! I have met and chatted with some amazing girls and made some really great friends (I love my sllunts!)

Bridal Shower- Venezia restaurant in Smithtown

My bridesmaids did an amazing job! The food and the service there was great and I heard that the price was very reasonable!










My Bachelorette Party- The Hamptons!

We stayed the weekend in the hamptons and had an amazing time! Friday night we went to Tide Runners (we went to happy hour and we ate dinner there-it was yummy and fun!), on Saturday we spent the day at the beach, and went to the Beach Bar at night, and on Sunday we went to the Boardy Barn.

Reheasal Dinner- The Library Café in Farmingdale

We had the entire downstairs area because we had too many people for the upstairs room…we did a sit down dinner instead of a buffet but I suggest if you are going to book there to do the buffet because they made each dinner individual and it took FOREVER for us all to get out food..but the food was amazing! And we had a great time!









Bridal Party gifts
Bridesmaids- they all got coach wristlets which I got from the outlets, and a necklace/earrings set I got from http://www.weddingdepot.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/1556





Groomsmen- DH couldn’t think of something that they would all actually like and use, so we went for $50 gift cards to best buy

Flower girls and ring bearers- I got them all shirts, and for the girls I got them a handkerchief with a poem, and little tiaras

A++++++++++++ Every girl looked AMAZING! She got there right on time and got right to work and everytime she got done with a girl, you would look at her and think wow they look stunning, its truly a work of art and she is def very talented in what she does! I HIGHLY recommend her! (I used her for both hair and makeup)

Thomas Knoell- A++++++++ im seriously obsessed with my headpiece and earrings and I guess I should be with the money I spent on it (it was my splurge) but I am soooooo happy that I decided to get my jewelry from him. He is soo nice and NOTHING can compare to his pieces. I wish you could see from the pics just how sparkly everything was! My headpiece is “secret kisses” and my earrings are “small dream”







My dress: Maggie Sottero Capri from Helens Bridal- everyone there was super nice and helpful and i LOVE my dress

Bridesmaid dresses: Watters and Watters from Bridal Elegance- they came in really late but the alterations were done very quickly and they looked gorgeous on the girls


Church- St Francis de Chantal in Wantagh

St Francis is a beautiful church and Im very glad we got married there! Everything ran smoothly and turned out great!

What can I say about them that hasn’t been said already? They are amazing! Joe (the owner) had us laughing hysterically at our first meeting and from what he was saying and what I’ve read on here, I had complete confidence that they would be on time and everything would be great, and well it was! I had an antique car pick my parents and I up (Joe was our driver!) and he was early and kept us laughing the whole trip. DH and the bridal party got picked up by a limo bus that was also early. Joe and the other driver kept in touch to make sure DH wouldn’t see me when I got out. The antique car was a really cool looking car and the limo bus (we all rode in this after the ceremony) was soooooo fun! You can beat shoving a ton of people in a limo bus with flat screen TV’s and a stripper pole! Haha

Florist- Spitz and Peck- A+++++

We chose Spitz and Peck because we know someone who works there. Their work is definitely beautiful, a little pricy but we loved how everything turned out! When we went for the sample, to be honest I wasn’t in love. DH liked it so I figured eh whatever. They put together the sample while we were there so it was kinda just thrown together but the day of the wedding im so glad that it didn’t look like the sample because I LOVED how it looked! We had half high centerpieces that had branches and hanging candles, and half low with mostly roses and hydrangeas. My BoK had mostly white roses mixed with orchids with these crystal like things, and the BM’s had pink roses with hydrangeas

DJ- FM Entertainment
A++++++++++

We went to their showcase and booked them right away, then we heard them at TWOTY and was even more excited, and of course they did awesome at our wedding! We had Frank as our MC and then I can’t remember the other guys name and we also had a guy who played the steel drums during cocktail hour (it was a surprise for my DH) and the same guy was our percussionist during the wedding. They all did an amazing job! EVERYONE was out on the dance floor alllll night long!





















Photographer/Videographer- Velvet Studios

A+++++++++++ (so far for pictures ill update again when I get the video and albums and everything but im sure ill love it!)

We had Bob as our main photographer, his wife as our second photographer and his son as our videographer. I absolutely LOVE our pictures!!!!!!! We got our proofs online in less then 2 weeks and im sooo happy with them. The pictures in this review are pretty much all of my proofs (yeah I figured out how to steal them off of the website while I wait for my CD hahaha) I will post a ton more pictures at the end of this review

Larkfield Manor- A+++++++++++++

I loved everything about Larkfield as soon as I walked in there, especially there price! I was quoted less here then other halls that I didn’t even like as much so im beyond happy I booked here! We had Frankie as our Maitre D and he was awesome! He’s a huge ranger fan so he was beyond excited when he heard the BP was walking out to the ranger goal song and had mini ranger hockey sticks to hold up. We also delt a lot with Maryanne, Harry, and George and they were all amazing, helpful, and very nice! The food was amazing! Everyone told me how much they enjoyed the food and how much there was! The room was beautiful, the service was great (every table had their own waiter), and the fod was delicious! What more can u ask? Oh yeah and we added an extra hour to the party for Viennese hour and omg was it amazing!

Shoes- The bridal shoe boutique in Carle place

They were touchups and sparkly! I love them! My feet were hurting by the time the reception started but I had already walked in them for 5 hours (I changed into white sparkly flip flops with a wedge heel from Victoria secret for the reception)







Veil- Barrons in Tri County

I got a plain cathedral veil with a detachable blusher (I didn’t want the blusher after the ceremony so it was on Velcro so I could just take it off), it was cheap and exactly what I wanted!

Day of Hoodie- sweatshirt was bought from NY&Co and then i took it to tri-county to get embroidered

Mini Rangers hockey sticks- (Brian decided it would be cool to order mini hockey sticks for the groomsmen to hold when they entered the reception and to hold up with the girls flowers when we do the armpit tunnel)
We got them through www.ministicks.com we ordered 2 day shipping and got them in like 5 days, so order early or maybe from somewhere else if u ever want these haha

Picture location: Caumsett State Park (in Lloyd Harbor/Huntington) I love this park! Theres a mansion, right behind that is a beautiful view of the long island sound and theres gardens and a beach there, def a great place to take pics!

Everything was soooo time consuming but I loved doing everything and how it came out!

I used the Xyron 900 to make pretty much everything (it makes stickers, laminates, and makes magnets) if you buy it on sale or use a 40% off coupon you can get it for like $60 and it was well worth it for me because im a teacher and use it for a lot of school things also!
