What a unique proposal! I love the story It's funny that you had a bad experience with Scott Jewelers, because DH had once bought me an XOXO bracelet from there, and it must have broken at least 5 times. I've gone back there to get it fixed, but then just got scared of wearing it because you never know when it would get lost and not recovered again.
Our wedding rings, which are just plain gold, are from there, and were really cheap.
