My Completed 4/13 Wedding Review (Finally & With PIX!)

Thank you so much ladies! you make me feel like i did a good job!! i was so worried things would not work out, but they totally did!!

oops, i forgot to review a couple of things:

My Dress - Bridal Suite in CENTEREACH - A --Bridal Suite was just great. Debbie was spectacular. They rushed my dress (3 months) and my sisters' (one of the blue MOH dress) and then crammed in all 3 fittings. They totally came through. And we got a little discount because we had seen the dress cheaper and they matched it!!! I guess i was a little unhappy with the alterations, but i think that is because i felt the dress was too big on me and i hated the cups (too pointy!) but what can you do! I don't think that was the seamstress' fault, i just don't like cups. and i couldn't wear practically anything under that dress!!! My mom and the seamstress felt that it shouldn't be any tighter, but i still feel like it could have been. at one point the way i was standing, one of my BMs said, i can see down the back (which means she saw my BUTT in control top! because like i said, i couldn't wear much under that dress!)

BM Dresses -- Netbride.com - A+ --Netbride is awesome. Your girls will love you! they are particularly good when you have more than three months to go. Go shopping elsewhere, look on the internet, pick the exact dresses you want (and have your girls try on the sample to know whether to go up or down in size) and then call netbride. I had 7 dresses and they were ALL different. They ended up looking very similar from afar, but they were all different styles. There were 2 Watters & Watters, 1 Alfred Angelo and 4 Jim Hjelm. All in the same material. They just happen to match (i was so excited when i got the matching swatches!!)

Shoes - www.discountdyables.com and bridalshoes.com - A+ -- both were great. being from out of state and trying to do as much as i could from home (DC) i ordered 5 pairs of shoes online. I ended up keeping the $25 pair from discount dyables. We got all of my girls' shoes from bridalshoes.com. They rushed our order free of charge and sent them all to the different girls' addresses for $15 (total!!). plus they were pretty cheap. and they dyed them beautifully!!

Tuxedos - Roger's Tux in Centereach - A+ - You can try on the exact tux you will be getting! They are fantastic and they did a great job! The guys had lots of fun playing in their dressing room the Saturday before the wedding.

Ringbearer Grooming - A+ -- Last but not least, THANK YOU Feasts for Beasts in Port Jeff station. They made our little furry babies look gorgeous for the wedding (which is not easy with all that hair). They were fast, sweet, gentle and very very good. I am very picky when it comes to grooming. They did a fabulous job. Anyone with a poodle should definitely try them!!
