Jean, your dress is beautiful & I love your cake!!!Were you guys in the big room downstairs?
We live about a half a mile away & our big day is next July. We decided to eat at the Surf's Out restaurant across the street & were on the dock when your yacht pulled in (around 715?).
The boat was beautiful and Monika was on the boat handing you champagne. We were shocked to see her on the boat. You could see the outline of people heading out from the CH room outside to watch the arrival. We were kinda surprised more people weren't outside during your cocktail hour.
Did you have a problem getting off the boat? It looked like a BIG step from the boat onto the deck. Even the wedding guests upstairs were all standing by the window to watch the arrival.
We then had dinner at the restaurant across the street and so we could see the window and saw the guests standing for the toasts & first dance. We also saw Matt running around making sure everything was top notch. There was a packed dance floor for the entire time we had dinner.
It looked like a wonderful night. I can't wait to see more pictures & your review definitely makes me feel even more confident in my choice.

Wow, cool! Yes, that was us in the big room downstairs. We ate in that restaurant before so yeah you do get a good view. Yes Monika, our photographer, and the driver were all on the boat with us. Monika was amazing, so helpful!! I was so surprised too that more people didn't head out during CH but all the food was inside so I guess that kept people in. We wanted to go out but of course got stopped talking and then wanted to get some food.
It was a little difficult getting out of the boat but I had help. They said 'make sure you see your feet' which was hard to do in a wedding gown.
Yep, people danced ALL night, truly wonderful day and Matt made sure everything was perfect, NIck working the upstairs party also checked in with me as well!!!

My florist did it...I didn't even realize it until I saw the pictures...such a great idea (they actually are from my pews at church I believe)...I didn't even tell her about it. (she did the main room, cocktail hour room, and dock in 15 MINUTES since there was another event right before--she rocked!)

Yeah it really did...lots of added places to put flowers there, go and take a look before hand (we had extra at our table, card table, picture table, etc) we were alsogoing to do the bannisters too but never did. GL!
