pics!!!!! My Aug 28 Wedding Review of Rock Hill Country Club

Hi Ladies!
Well, I have some time so I figured I would try to do my review!

Mother Nature: A+++++
They called for rain all week for my day and I was soo worried! But the sun was shining and everything was wonderful .. not too muggy or hot, no rain, just perfect!

Tuxes: Rico's Tuxedo's in Center Moriches, LI

They only reason they did not get an F is b/c the guys looked great ...BUT ... the quality of the tuxes were AWFUL. Buttons were falling off while the guys were getting ready, my dad's pants ripped and had to be STAPLED together and the threading on the vests were coming out. Thank god I didn't see this before hand, I would have died! But they all looked great!

I have not seen my proofs yet, but she was excellent, she let us enjoy our day, taking just a few pics at a time, letting us eat or mingle, then took a few more. She has been a friend of our family's for a long time so I have the utmost confidence in her work

Videographer: Ben Grodski A++++
I never knew he was there! Despite being almost 7 feet tall!!! He was awesome and so much fun to work with. I haven't gotten the video yet either, but he works w/ my mom and everyone who has used him has raved about him

David's Bridal - my dress A+++
My dress was the first one I tried on and absolutely fell in love. It was ordered and here within a week and I never had to alter it. However, never bringing it in for alterations, I didn't know it didint have a bustle. So the night before, my MOH, bridesmaids and me were working on making a bustle. In the end it was perfect and worked!!

David's Bridal - bridesmaid dresses A+
As far as I know, there were no problems. Everything came in on time, fit, and looked wonderful!

Ebay- Invites, paper goods, the 'fun stuff' A+++
I really lucked out w/ finding great vendors to deal with. Absolutely the first place I would tell future brides to look for gifts, napkins, bells, etc...

DJ: Carl's Tunes: A+++++++++++++
I cannot say aenough about Carl! He ended up hurting his back a few days before and couldn't MC the floor like he usually does but he rbought along 2 guys that were perfect! they were fun and involved the crowd, and definitely played towards the crowd


Rock Hill: A+++++++

They were absolutely perfect! Jim Murphy was awesome to work with and was so laid back, he didnt make me nervous and I've heard such great things about him. We have gone to functions here before and everything turned out great so I was happy.
The food was outstanding, although we didnt get much of the CH. We did get to eat our full dinner, and everyone raved for days about the food.
The place was immaculate and the waitstaff were soo pleasant.
The only thing I have to say is that I did not get back all of my favors that were left over. We had matchbooks and 'simply mint to be's' tic tacs that I wanted to take home and they never made it to the bag.


All in all, my day was amazing!!! My DH and I both said it was soo worth all the work, stress and complaining!!!

My MOH was such a blessing!! She did all my CP's and our bouquets and bout's. They looked wonderful and no one could believe they were silk flowers!

I figured I would add my comments, since I was YOUR MOH

The day was absolutely how it should be- everything worked out just as we planned!
And somethings worked out even that we didn't plan on! (the bustle! I'm pretty sure that Martha herself would've been proud of me! I really pulled that one out of my rear!)

You deserved the wedding of your dreams and I am glad and 'honored' that I was able to assist you in making it become a reality! For you- anything my dear!
