Places which come to my mind are:
Louis XVI, which I believe is in Patchogue
The George Washington Manor in Roslyn
and in Westchester there is
Antuns in Elmsford. I had inquired there recently about a wedding anniversary party (for me) and they said their minimum was 50 people.

Have you spoken to The Fox Hollow in Woodbury or to The Swan Club in Roslyn Harbor? They have some smaller rooms there.
You could try Sans Souci as well. I don't know what their minimum is however their room (for dinner and dancing) is not huge.
