Hello, I'm looking for alternatives to the flower only centerpiece. We would like something more unique. We're thinking of a fruit centerpiece with flowers interspersed. It's a daytime affair, so high flowers aren't necessary.
Any ideas from our creative vendors ? Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Re: alternatives to flower only centerpieces
Hi Julybride444,
Have you thought about centerpieces with floating candles in different size cylinders. We have done many of these where we have put things inside the cylinders like shells, flowers, etc. The floating candles can also be in different shapes - in fact you can do some citrus fruit slice floating candles with maybe some lemons and limes in the bottom if you want to go with a fruit theme. Just a thought.
Hope this helps - Happy planning!

Re: alternatives to flower only centerpieces
Hi,
I just got back from shooting a wedding at Atlantica and the brides theme in flowers was the color 'yellow'. She had sunflowers and her centerpieces were big huge vases that were filled with water and lemons and then the flowers (mostly yellow or sunflowers) were places in the vase.
It sounds weird, but they were very attractive and elegant.
