Any charitable vendors out there?
Not sure if any of you have read about my 16 month old nephew who was killed last spring by an SUV backing down his driveway...
Alec's Accident

Alec threads
Alec's parents have raised funds and are building a playground in honor of Alec at a local Helping Hands rescue mission. The playground will benefit the underpriviledged children that visit the mission each day.
This has taken a lot of time and effort and Adriann and Bill don't want it to just end when the playground is complete. They want a way for Alec to live on in their lives. They have created a foundation in honor of Alec, to continue supporting the playground and other children's charities through the years to come.
They're having a fundraising race April 23th with the dedication/opening of the playground to follow soon thereafter.
The race is 4 miles around their neighborhood in Dix Hills/Huntington area.
Proceeds from the race will benefit:
Hospice Care Network: bereavement counselors and end-of-life care specialists,
Kids-n-Cars: an advocacy group striving to make cars safer for their littlest passengers,
The Alec William Nelson Charitable Corporation that will donate funds to charities working with children
I'm recruiting sponsors for the race, as well as donations of gift certificates to be given out as raffle prizes for the race partipants. Can any of you help? Any GC that someone (not necessarily brides) would want to win - restaurants, flowers, salons/spas, etc.
If you cannot contribute, but would like to race, FM me your email or physical address and I'll send you an entry form.
thanks for reading this
