I hope you can help! I just got engaged last weekend and have only just begun to plan. But, my fiance and I are certain of one thing...We want to go to Bermuda on our Honeymoon. My question is...What is the weather like there in mid-April? Is it too cold for sunbathing? I have not gone to a travel agent just yet, we are still throwing around the idea. Also,we are NOT looking to go on a cruise (my fiance works on an oil tanker). Can you recommend hotels/resorts? THANKS!

I can understand why your fiance` would be aprehensive about going on a cruise. Have you or your fiance ever been on a cruise before? There are 5 star beautiful ships that leave out of NY. They provide you with white glove service, 5 star cuisines and broadway shows. The benefit in doing a Bermuda cruise is that you are free to come and go as you please and your food, hotel, and entertainment are included. If you don`t feel like eating a meal or 2 on the ship; you can wander about and eat on the island.

I did look up some resorts for you. There is the Stonington Beach Hotel in Hamilton, which is a 5 star hotel.There is also The Reefs in Hamilton, which is a 4 star hotel. Then you have the Southhamptom Sonesta Beach Resort & Spa and the Fairmont Southhampton Princess, which are both 4 stars. The Fairmont is also located in Hamilton and the Sonesta is located in Southhampton. These are a few choices you have.
Bermuda is located off the coast of Georgia, so the weather is about the same temperature as Georgia or close to it. For example, right now the temperature is 68 degrees.
