Hi, I am looking for a non-church ceremony location. Our reception is in Massapequa and we would like to find an interesting place to have the ceremony (other than the reception hall) that is close-ish by. Something like an art gallery or hstorical building.
Thanks!

Re: ceremony location?
Hello and congratulations!
Coe Hall in Oyster Bay is available for ceremonies and the Planting Fields is wonderful for photos.
If you are going to use a venue that does not host weddings often don't forget to look closely at the little things. Where is the best place to set up? Will there be any possible sources of outside noise? Will amplification be needed? Where will the light be coming from at the time of your ceremony? Where will you enter from and so on. Just thinking about some of this will let you pad the edges of anything that may otherwise come up.
Also if you don't find anything that you really like you may want to consider the Riviera itself. They really do a great job with everything including the ceremony there.
Good luck in your search and may your wedding be all that you dream it to be with many healthy happy years to follow.
