Ceremony Music - Ideas & Approx. Costs

Hello, my FH and I have two songs & two instrumental pieces which we would like played at our 9-4-05 wedding. We simply can not figure out an approximate cost or even who we'd need to hire to pull this off.

- Prelude - Spring by Vivaldi
- Processional - Canon in D by Pachelbel
- Interlude/Solo - “The Prayer” i.e. Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion
- Recessional - This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole

Is it too tacky to play recorded music at an outdoor garden ceremony? (Fox Hollow 175 guests) Can this be done with live musicians & not break the bank? Which one will give us the best result? Thanks so much!

Check your forum email - I sent you specific information on how all your selections can be performed. My office has been recommended by the Fox Hollow for over 13 years. All the performers are familiar with ceremony locations. policies etc.

Re: Ceremony Music - Ideas & Approx. Costs

Greetings,

We attended a wedding recently as guests where both recorded music and a live band (2 guitars, bass, drums, 2 singers) performed at different times.

The recorded music was used as the processional and recessional, the band played in the middle of the ceremony for meditations. This occurred in a simply appointed albeit modern church with an excellent sound system (vital to carrying this off successfully).

This is your day. You have planned for it, perhaps saved and scrimped for it, perhaps you have relatives for whom this day has especially great significance. I do not think it is tacky to do anything that has sincere meaning for you.

Peace&music

I've sent you FM; and by the way, I've played at the Fox Hollow many times.
