I've asked this before, but I'm looking for a venue for an interfaith ceremony! I had SUCH high hopes for the Historical Chapel, but after seeing it on Saturday (GREAT job, Church of the Ancient Ways, btw), it's too small! Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Ceremony Venue
I didn't know you were there! I would have loved to say hi! We've FM'd before and I definitely remember chatting with you.
There is a chapel that I'm doing my first wedding at next month. It is in Smithtown over by the hospital. (The Hospital right down the road from the bull) It is on the property of a retirement home from what I understand, but don't let that frighten you off without a look. The girl I'm marrying there is totally in love with the place.
CW Post? I've never been there but they tell me it's nice (hear the Joe Walsh playing in the background? LOL)
I'm not sure of the denomination of this next one but it's in the town of Oyster Bay. It is church that Theodore Roosevelt himself belonged to. It boasts one of the largest pipe organs on the island and is full of old carved wood. Breathtaking! I was a guest there 3 years ago and it was stunning. Call me if you want me to find out the name and everything.
I know you really want a church but the North Ritz does a nice job with turning the downstairs into a chapel. Just some food for thought. Also I'm house at Coe Hall which is the mansion at the Planting Fields in Oyster Bay. They just started doing ceremony only there and it may be worth a look. It's a real castle and you are a fairytale bride!
I hope this has been helpful. Wishing you a wonderfully wedding and an even better marriage!

I'm going to look into that one in Oyster Bay! I wanted to say hi also, but we got there kind of late. I really enjoyed the ceremony - very unique!
