Different kind of DJ experience

Hey all,

I need some reccomendations. I'm looking for a 'different' kind of DJ experience than what I have seen so far at some of the bridal showcases. Here is what im looking for
-a DJ that has mix of country/southern rock, but also the wedding classics (swing, sinatra, etc). Someone who can cater to an older crowd with less top 40s type stuff.
-A DJ that will get people dancing by the music they play and not with all the hype and yelling at people to get up and dance.
- I would prefer an MC that makes announcements but is not overhwheling (I dont want a club scene).

Also if the vendor has live musicians available for cocktal hour that would be a plus.

Dear Kristin,
I am recommended by Steve at the West Sayville Country Club for live music as well as DJ's.

I can provide exactly what you are looking for - a DJ who is also a great MC (he will read the crowd and select the music according to the crowd at any given time and be flexible to change with the crowd. He is also a great MC- no need for a separate MC on the dance floor. We avoid the hype and yelling you have seen at showcases - it is not about the DJ - is should be about the bride-groom and their guests.

I can also provide live music for the cocktail hour - anything from keyboard (I have played many cocktail hours at West Sayville) to violin etc.
