Does anyone have opinions on any of the following?

Entertainment Tonight
Body Rock
Festive Productions

Would you recommend checking them out, and if so, anyone in particular?

Paiz,

I have heard good things about Body Rock, however, you may also want to contact Stan Wiest at 754-0594. He can provide excellent D.J. entertainment for your wedding.

Good Luck!

I'm not too familiar with any of the DJ companies that you have listed, but Dr. Dance is wonderful! Great staff, great equipment and very enjoyable to work with. They are a LI Weddings company, so just check out their website, I think you'll be impressed.

Good luck with your wedding plans!

Dear Paiz,
If you have a problem finding a DJ to your specific needs please call my office. Our approach is customized to a bride's wishes-your personality becomes the cue. We do not get involved with give aways, light shows etc. for a wedding. It is a more elegant approach without any volume problems.Tuxedo attire. I provided the DJ for the wedding for the editor of Red Book Magazine. She gave me a list of more songs than could be played- but only wanted the songs from her list played-no changes or additions to the list. She did not want the DJ to take over the wedding but rather to be a compliment to the reception. If I can help you please call me at (631) 754-0594. My office is open 11 AM to 11 PM Daily.

Re: DJ

Paiz,

It would probably be in your best interest to visit all three of the vendors you mentioned and decide for yourself with whom you feel most comfortable. Everyone has an opinion, and without intimately knowing the source of the opinion what may be 'great' for one may be 'terrible' for another. You may want to consider first deciding whether or not you wish to hire an entertainment company or a sole proprietorship. Both have their own advantages. From there, rely on your impressions from your meeting with the vendor. You may hit the right one on the first shot, or it may take several appointments to make a connection. You know best what type of service you want for your day. You will know who will be best for you the minute you make contact. Trust your instincts...

If you are interested in knowing more about the differences between entertainment companies and sole proprietorships, give me a call or drop me an a-mail and I'll be happy to offer an opinion. Good luck!

Regards,

Michael
